Today I happily handed over final payment to Pete for our new patio and pavillion. Pete and his crew were wonderful to deal with through all phases of our project. From design to picking out pavers to installation, all aspects went smoothly.

The crew, led by Nickolay, was pleasant and worked with purpose taking care not to cause any unnecessary damage to our yard. An on-the-fly design change was taken in stride and handled with relative ease and a smile. The equipment used was ideal for the project and eliminated most of the backbreaking work associated with stone work.

So glad to work with the Blue Oak Team and now looking forward to enjoying our new patio for years to come. I have absolutely no doubt that it is built to last.

Pete, Nick and the crew did an extraordinary job for us last fall updating a retaining wall for a small stream in the back of our home. The work was completed on time, on budget and with superb craftsmanship!

Very professional and responsive! The hardest problem whenever trying to hire a contractor is finding someone who will actually call you back. Pete responded right away and scheduled an appointment around my schedule. On the day of my appointment, it was raining (and had been for a couple days). I thought for sure we would need to reschedule, but Pete showed up still on time! My yard was a muddy mess. He still took the time to go over his ideas with me. A few days later, I received the design he thought would work best for my hard-to-landscape yard (lots of shade). It was BEAUTIFUL! I highly recommend using Blue Oak Patio and Landscape!

Blue Oak Patio and Landscaping completed a large patio and garden fountain for my home this past fall. The company’s crew was very experienced and did an excellent job in laying the patio tiles, as well as following the landscaping drawing plans. Pete was on the construction site numerous times and worked with me in resolving some challenges that came up due to preexisting drainage issues, as well as some additional changes I wanted made to the original plan. He also keeps in contact with the customer via regular emails with updates on the progress of the project and their upcoming work schedule. The results look beautiful and the project was completed to 100% of my satisfaction.

Pete did a great job explaining the process to us, designing our patio, and helping us meet the complicated HOA approval processes. Team was amazing on install as well. Amazing customer service all around! Thanks guys!!!

Pete and his team were fantastic on our hardscape patio installation. The guys worked thru 90+ degree days, paying attention to detail. Nikolay led the team and had great design sense. Great communication from start to finish of the job. Looks awesome! We are excited to enjoy a new outdoor space now.

Pete and team were phenomenal. We had several contractors come out and provide estimates. We were looking to re-landscape all the way around the house. They were by far the most responsive and helpful. The plan that was put together was very detailed so it was easy to get a sense for how it was going to look. It turned out beautiful! Pete has followed up several times after the work was complete to see how things were going. We had this done late in the summer so I can’t wait until spring to see everything come to life! Each time he listened to our requests and provided a beautiful, functional and cost-effective solution. His low-key approach is a pleasure to do business with. After obtaining competitive bids it was clear that Blue Oak operated differently from every other landscape company we contacted. His crew arrived on time, completed the work on time, cleaned up at the end of each shift and communicated progress along the way. Pete and his crew - Brian, Alex, and Nicoli - were top notch, among the most professional and considerate specialty contractors I've had the pleasure to deal with. Pete communicated with us regularly throughout the course of the work. The project was completed timely and within budget - despite Mother Nature (rain) and some "curveballs" we threw Pete along the way. We are completely satisfied with the results. There is nothing about the project we would have done differently. We are so pleased we will definitely choose Blue Oak for our next patio & landscape project.

We even did a camp out this past holiday weekend and it could not have been more perfect!!

Thru design such outstanding landscape. But I don't think I could afford them.

Buck and Sons provides quality service. Their innovative design has significantly improved our home's beauty and value.

Buck and sons placed new sod in my back yard, they were supposed to take the sod to the house, they only placed it to the back porch. They were supposed to add dirt to even out the low spots in the yard and that was only half completed. They also damaged the grass along the side of the house and only fixed part of it. They didn't respond to calls or emails requesting that they fix the low parts of the yard that now collect water and is constantly wet. I wouldn't recommend them.

We can't say enough about Buck and Sons. We hired them to do major trimming, edging, and mulching. They exceeded our expectations. First of all, they trimmed all the bushes by hand, not with electric trimmers which means they took their time, and did a beautiful job. They were really easy to interact with, and took some time in the morning to review the job with us, and be sure we were on the same page. Our yard looks amazing, and they cleaned up perfectly. When they left, I said "See you next year", because we will definitely hire them again! Thanks to a great crew! Also, I should mention that I got 3 quotes to do the job. Shane at Buck and Sons was the quickest and most responsive. The prices were similar so we hired them since they seemed the most interested. We are glad we did!
