Thanks to the expertise and talent of Adil and his E. A. Home Repair team, our 1911 Lakewood kitchen went from makeshift workable to Houzz beautiful/Konmari organized.
Adil’s confidence in his knowledge of old Lakewood homes had us choose E. A. Home Repair over a couple other better-known (to us) area competitors we had met with. E. A. Home’s very fair labor quote was the icing on our decision cake.
In addition to knowing a building’s structural and mechanical components (Adil’s an architect), he has fabulous vendor connections. He set us up with a Pella rep for our replacement windows; a local Amish cabinetmaker; an Amish wood flooring company; Cleveland Granite & Marble for countertops and Design Surfaces for tile. For these and all other purchases made through Home Depot, we benefitted from Adil's contractor discount.
With demolition complete, Adil’s experience and expertise shined. He knew just what was needed to support a newly raised ceiling, secure an unsupported bathtub above the kitchen, to relocate waste pipes and plumbing, and rebuild walls and a floor at the back of the kitchen (once a porch.)
A kitchen renovation is stressful. Of course you need to trust your contractor to get you through. But you gotta like him too. Adil is responsive, smart and affable. And like him, each of his team members is polite, kind and industrious. We liked them being around.

I love Adil!! He fixed a few things in our house and then came to the rescue when we fired our contractor on our restaurant build-out. Adil and his team did a great job finishing our first floor rec room! They worked quickly and diligently, finishing the entire project in three days (the space wasn't that large, but I didn't anticipate them being done so quickly). Adil was quick to respond and helped answer all my questions. They will be my go to on my next project!

Adil and his crew have been a life saver to my home renovation projects! Coming from Florida to the Lakewood area I was completely naive with the projects I’d be taking on moving into an old Lakewood home, right when I thought I’d taken on too much Adil stepped in and made things manageable. Adil and his team have helped guide me through projects they weren’t even a part of while they worked meticulously to finish a project I started. Adil and his co-workers are a wonderful group of guys. They did some truly amazing work in our nearly 100 yr old home. Work included demo of exisiting kitchen, removal of a wall, new electrical (including install of lights) plumbing, refinishing hardwood floors, tile install, cabinet/sink/countertop install, painting. Adil was always reachable by phone. He is more than fair with his prices and did so much more for us than originally planned. We couldn't be happier with the work he did for our home.

On a side note, Adil and his staff are geniunely great people. Very friendly, professional, and easy going. Wonderful job!

Adil is the most professional person I have ever worked with. His quoted price was the price we paid for the remodeling of our bathroom. He communicated with us throughout the process, the job was completed in the time he told us it would be and he never cut any corners. Fast & extremely reliable service. We have used them twice now for emergency type home repairs. EA Home Repair installed our dishwasher last weekend and my husband and I could not be happier! We bought a new dishwasher and Home Depot could not install it because we needed both an electrical and plumbing update. Very pleased with Adil. He's professional, diligent and thorough. We had him perform a series of miscellaneous tasks (e.g., mounting TV, fixing appliances, other repairs), which he performed extremely quickly. In addition, he was affordable and took the time to explain the rationale behind his work.

Adil and his team were great! We had some work done in our bathroom (tiling, piping, adding fan, etc.) and Adil was very responsive throughout the whole process. We were very happy with the quality of work and they were very reasonably priced. Will definitely use again!

If you are looking for help with a home improvement project definitely consider Adil’s company, AE Home Improvement. He and his team installed stair rails in my home and I am very pleased with the result. The project was not a large one, but Adil was willing and happy to fit it into his schedule. I think that is extraordinary! We are now discussing the possibility of a larger project. He is a nice guy, businesslike, but friendly, efficient and trustworthy. I am so glad I found this good company.

Adil and his team were contracted the build out our entire coffee shop, Propaganda Coffee, in Lakewood. The entire experience with them, from start to finish, was wonderful. Adil is knowledgeable, kind, helpful, and diligent. He gets work done when he says he will, and does it properly. His whole team is professional and very hard working. They handled the permitting and city issues without fail, and were quick to respond to any issues and changes. If you need to see the quality of their work, feel free to come see our coffee shop; the fit and finish is evident. Two months after opening, Adil still comes in regularly to check that everything is functioning properly. He is genuinely invested in seeing that his work is holding up and everything is working as it should. I would call him without hesitation for anything I needed done at work or at home.
