Reviews of local pros in Lebanon, Ohio

We’ve been using the Melana Landscaping team for the last 3 years to mow our yard and do our annual spring landscaping cleanup and mulching and they are always professional and their work is outstanding!

The guys did an excellent job cleaning up flower beds and transplanting 500 hosta plants (seriously that many)! Everything was done professionally and cleanup was perfect. Highly recommend!!!

We just had Melena Landscaping remove and replace the landscaping in front of our house and repair all of the other beds around the house. Dan was quick to provide us a detailed plan and the cost was in line with what we were expecting. His team was very professional and kept our yard neat during the entire time they were working. The finished product is fantastic. We are looking forward to spring to see everything when it blooms. I would highly recommend Melena Landscaping if you are considering any landscaping projects.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dan Melena. We used Dan for our extensive landscape project when our landscape architect recommended him to us. She said he was an A+ vendor and she was right! From the moment I met with Dan I knew he was the one for the job. He was friendly and approachable while also being professional. His pricing was competitive for the large scale job we wanted him to do.

Dan was on site everyday to check on the project and check in with us. We were starting from scratch with a blank canvas so there were many components of the project he had to oversee. The first crew came in to install the drain tiles and work on a drainage system for the yard. Once that was complete the next crew moved in to install the landscape. Everyone on his team was courteous and hard working. They took great care of each step of the plan.

Dan was always interested in whether or not we were happy with the work and was helpful with suggestions when we wanted to make a few changes. He recommended a tree service company for us to use to make sure the trees reach their full potential. He is not a one and done vendor. He is interested in maintaining relationships. We look forward to working on phase 2 of our project with him in the future.

Dan Melina has always been great to work with and Casey did a fantastic job this year with the spring clean up. My yard looks great!

We had Mike and his team do a whole hoast of projects beyond my limited skill set. The crew worked their tails off and did a fantastic job! We had 4 bids. Although Melena's was in the middle, the care he had for our yard and doing things the right way shone through. They cleaned up after themselves all 5 times they were here! We'd hire them again as the value received was outstanding!

Dan and his team transformed our front and back yard landscaping! Dan displayed a wealth of knowledge. He was the only landscaper who came out and actually drew out everything he was thinking to do during our consultation. My husband and I are very pleased with everything his team has done. I watched the guys working through my window and the craftsmanship and attention to detail was top notch! They built not just a landscaping wall, but truly a statement piece! I’ve seen neighbors walking their dogs stop and admire the front of our house since Melena Landscaping transformed our yard. I can’t thank the team enough for such a beautiful job they did. I would give them a 10/10 stars and recommend them to everyone who asks!

We are so happy with the outstanding work done by Dan and his crew! They built a retaining wall around a bed in front of our house and replaced the builder-grade plants with new plants that are much more visually appealing. They also installed two trees in our front yard. The team was professional, efficient, and attentive to detail throughout the entire project. We will definitely use them again for our future landscaping needs. I highly recommend their services!

Melena Landscaping address several projects at my home. They relocated a tree and some grasses from the front of my home to the backyard. They fixed a drainage problem in the front of my home and the created a beautiful bed in the backyard where they transplant the grasses and the tree from the front year. Their landscape architect designed the plan and showed me pictures of the plants she recommended. Dan’s team did an excellent job installing the plan.

Melena has been maintaining the lawn at our business for years and our lawn has looked A+. We recently hired Dan to renovate all of our landscaping and they did exceptional work. Dan met onsite on short notice and was able to quickly provide a design concept. In under two weeks we've gone from interest, to design, to completion. Most contractors initial response time is slower than that.

Dan offered great plant selection, he was onsite with his crew frequently, and was responsive via e-mail/phone. His team grinds! They knocked out a project in days that would take me a decade.

Highly recommend Melena.

Dan was an absolute pleasure to work with and the work Melena Landscaping delivered was phenomenal! Dan was professional, schedules were accurate and fulfilled as communicated. Dan was very patient with me and answered all of my questions thoroughly. His follow up and follow through were excellent. I always felt informed throughout the process. The end result exceeded my expectations. Would absolutely recommend Melena Landscaping! Thank you Dan for making my yard enjoyable again!

Juan and his team did the usual excellent job mulching our landscape areas. We have used Melena Landscaping for a number of years due to their exacting detail and reliability in everything they do.

Melena Landscaping is top of class. Extraordinary attention to detail and deep experience resulted in a job that exceeded expectations. Casey and his team were polite, hard working and I’ll even say artists. Great ideas and advice that I would never have come up with! With other home services I’ve used, I quickly learn that I will have to supervise closely to ensure even a C- grade. Dan gets an A+ - no supervision needed! Not a grade I give easily!

Great experience with this company from start to finish. Casey and his team did a wonderful job grading the land on the sides of our house.

Melena Landscaping did an amazing job on cleaning out and replacing plants and trees in our landscaping!
Would highly recommend them!!

Casey and his crew will do an excellent job for any of your landscape needs! I have had Melena do my landscaping for the last 5 years and highly recommend them!

We have trusted Melena Landscaping with multiple projects at our house over the last few years and couldn't be happier with the results! Between landscape design/installation and drainage solutions, Dan and his team have transformed our property into a completely different space for us to enjoy. He has always been professional, and punctual, and he takes the time to explain everything with excellent communication before, during, and after the job. We will continue using Melena Landscaping for future projects and highly recommend him to anyone looking for superior quality work!

Our yard never looked so good! Juan and crew were so professional, went beyond expectations. Edged beds (amazing), cleaned up weeds, and spread quality mulch. Now all we have to do is sit back and enjoy the view.

'Dan has done our landscaping for several years and does an excellent job. But most recently I needed a drainage ditch for my basement sump pump and I asked Dan if he would take care of it. His team led by Casey Flannery showed up in the morning and by noon. The total task is complete and you couldn’t tell they had been here, they did an excellent job

Dan and team have taken care of our yard for almost a decade. We could not be happier with Melena Landscaping. The work they do is always perfect, great pricing, and excellent customer service. Highly recommend!

Big shout out to Vicente and rest of the Melena crew!! I continue to be impressed each time I use this landscaping service. Vicente took time to show me around the yard and describe what work was done and answered any questions I had. I highly recommend them and will use them again for future landscaping needs!
