We had returned home from vacation to almost no water pressure. It was determined that the well had received a strike from lighting during the recent storms. Response from Bassett Services with in 1 hour new well pump and pressure switch replaced, and all done by 1700 hrs. Great guys!!

Tyler Brown did a great job checking diagnosing our problem! We thought the electrical was a problem when my wife wash shocked touching the fridge. Turns out it wasn’t an electrical problem and he provided a referral for someone to fix the fridge.

Jason did great work, and I couldn't help but notice everyone associated with Basset/Fire and Ice were really friendly and easy to talk to. They are my top choice for plumbing, AC, heating, and hvac

Great communication on when the tech would be on-site. Tech was friendly, knowledgeable, and fixed our problem. He also advised us on steps we should take to get our house up to code and gave us a quote for that without being pushy about it which I really appreciate.

My most recent experience with Bassett was positive and I will say since they took over from True North it has been better overall. The technician Dale was very good and knowledgeable but the one that was sent out initially seemed to have misdiagnosed the problem which led to an electrician getting involved unnecessarily. I do plan to ask for the money paid for that initial visit to be applied to my membership as the part that needed replacing was under warranty

Joe McCulloch did a great job of explaining the estimate and going the extra mile to find the unusual size of meter yoke. The actual install was fast (and there wasn't even air in the lines when he was done)! Great customer experience and definitely recommend!
-
The quality of the service we received was good and the friendliness of the technician was equally good. Other than the technician not arriving to do the work within the window we were provided, the experience was a good one

Service tech Young did a great job with the annual maintenance inspection for my air conditioning unit. He was friendly, personable, thorough, and provided tips and recommendations to keep the unit running safely, efficiently, and to prolong the unit’s life.

Contacted them to do repair work for a shower at my rental property and was scheduled for the following day. The process was seamless and the issue was fixed quickly!! They are very knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommended!!

New ac unit put in less than 6 months ago, pas couple days it's been 82-84 outside and unit won't cool below 79-80. Called for service but won't send anyone out for another day, that's when a cold front hits. So much for 24/7 support.

I called Bassett to come look at my water heater because I noticed water leaking from the bottom of the tank. They sent a technician later that same afternoon. The technician Joe came by and realized that the leak was not coming from the hot water tank but my furnace. He immediately explained the situation and promptly called the company and set up an appointment with a HVAC technician who could fix the issue. We truly appreciate the professionalism Joe showed us today.

I am very pleased with the service I received from Bassett Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electrical. Jason was the technician and he was very polite, courteous, and professional. He assessed the problem and gave me two options. I chose to do both. The water line to my toilet was leaking, and the shut off valve was ancient. The cost was lower then I had anticipated and I am happy that I called Bassett.

I'm not sure exactly where to provide this feedback since Bassett Services is all over the place. I will say my experience from a Plumbing standpoint was terrible and I would like to give a heads-up to anyone who would even remotely consider engaging them for plumbing services. This is a company who is allegedly BBB certified - meaning they operate with integrity. They don't. They were called because a tub faucet was faulty and their solution was to not fix that issue...but, instead, proceeded with overpriced and not required services that didn't address the problem. The end result for the customer, and 80-year old widow who was told their repairs would fix her issue was $2300 in charges that didn't address the issue that they were called for (the issue was a bad cartridge in the hot water faucet - that cost $12 and was changed out by a handyman.) That doesnt sound like integrity...that sounds like predatory behavior for a company that pays folks on commission.
Don't even try to figure out how to talk to a live body to discuss concerns real-time...it's impossible. -
Connor did a phenomenal job diagnosing the issue, ordering the correct part, and then coming back to install it. He’s professional and I would recommend him and the company.

Aaron arrived on time and immediately started asking questions to assess the problem. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and explained everything to me .... where the problem was and why it was happening. He was courteous and efficient . When the job was completed, he even cleaned up and left NO MESS. I would highly recommend Aaron from Bassett Plumbing to my family and friends. Thank you Aaron for a pleasant experience with our stressful plumbing issue.

My technician was Chris Welch and he did a great job for me. I needed to have a new shower head installed and he was quick and efficient. He was also very personable and answered all of my questions. This was a great experience and I will be happy to ask for him by name in the future.

Joshua Wheeler from Bassett Services did an awesome job! He did a full house assessment. He replaced all our old ‘80s outlets and fixed the bathroom power that kept cutting out. He’s a really hard worker, super knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. Definitely recommend!

I really wanted to like this company. However when they replaced my hot water tank several months ago, unbeknownst to me, to make the new, larger unit fit, the tech shortened my washer drain. In doing so, the washer drain isn't tall enough anymore to properly drain, and there is a deeply curved 'trap', (that wasn't there before), that causes the water to rush back up and out of the drain. I had asked the tech at the time about all the 'left over' PVC pipe pieces, but he'd assured me it was from the old tank- when in fact it was actually my working washer drain that he'd removed and replaced with a shorter pipe, with a very curved 'trap'. He did this in order to make the new tank easier to install, or he simply didn't reassemble the drain properly after removing it to install the tank.
The back of the washer/drain/hoses/etc. are all in a separate room than the front of the washer. It's accessed clear on the other side of the house through a tiny door next to the fridge in the kitchen. I've went in there once to change my furnace filter months ago. I noticed the concrete floor was a bit 'damp', so I put a damp-rid in the room and thought nothing more about it- bottom line, my washer has been draining into this small utility room and flooding for months! There is actually mold on one of the wall studs now! I'd noticed my new flooring warping near the furnace intake vent, but couldn't understand why. It's the only place in the house that my new flooring is warped, chipping. I know now it's from the water leaking under the furnace in the utility room and seeping under the laminate flooring!
Am I stupid for not realizing this sooner- yes, I admit I am. Is Discount Drains responsible for their tech tampering with, and ruining my washer drain- yes, yes they are! As well as removal of the resulting mold and my warped flooring!
I have contacted them, and I was told they are sending someone out to, "dispute the mold." Not a very courteous response at all! If they repair/replace the washer drain so it functions properly as it did before they ruined it, and address the mold they caused, I will remove this post, however if they refuse to repair the washer drain that their tech ruined, and clean/repair the mold, I will have no choice but to litigate for damages and will continue to strongly suggest not doing business with this company! I trusted them to do the job right. I'm super disappointed both in their workmanship and response to my issue! -
Joe was super helpful in fixing our bathroom toilet issue. I was able to get an appointment quickly. He was friendly, professional, efficient, and thorough. He explained the problem in detail and how we can prevent it in the future. I’m very happy with the service and will be calling them back if we have any future issues.

I had the pleasure of working with Joe from Bassett Plumbing, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. He was extremely professional, highly knowledgeable, and even arrived early for the appointment — a rare and appreciated quality.
Joe took the time to thoroughly explain multiple options to address the issue with my hot water tank, helping me make an informed decision. His attention to detail and customer-focused approach were truly impressive.
Bassett Plumbing should seriously consider promoting Joe — technicians like him are the reason customers keep coming back. I would 100% recommend Joe and Bassett Plumbing to anyone that has a plumbing need. -
Great experience with Riley from Bassett Services for some electrical work that included a new sub panel and then wiring and a disconnect for a new Hot Tub. He was very professional from first visit, through options and the estimate, to doing the work. He is very friendly, courteous and goes over everything making sure all questions are answered and you are happy with his work. Very pleased with his work and the overall experience.
