Great company. My technician Chris M. showed up on time and fixed a wiring problem I had. Setting up the appointment was easy and I did like how they kept in touch until my appointment and everything was fixed. It is a local company and the price was about where I was expecting it to be. No surprises. I'm leaving this review because I was impressed with the service and when I need more work done I finally found a good company to deal with. A+

Chris, out tech, was very thorough. When he arrived the 1st time a couple of weeks ago, he came out to give an estimate on a repair of the circuit breaker. He performed a complete inspection of our home and let us know the updated electrical codes for this year and what our home was lacking. He made suggestions on what needed done, somethings I was able to do and things like proper grounding our home he was able to do. Chris was very polite and took the time to make sure that when he left, the home was safe. I appreciated his honesty and his extra effort to make sure we received the best he could offer. I highly recommend Hometown Electrical Doctor and our tech, Chris Meyers.

Matt responded quickly to my phone call. He and his apprentice were at my house within an hour. Corrected my electrical problems efficiently and quickly so that I wasn’t late for a scheduled dental appointment.

Matt and his team spent countless hours troubleshooting a complicated electrical problem with our heating system. All the while cordial with their inquires and thoroughly professional as they diagnosed and ultimately resolved the problems. Chris and Brian were great! They did an INCREDIBLE job cutting holes in our kitchen tile for new outlets. We knew it was risky and expected cracks, but there are none in the tile and only very minor in the grout. I also really appreciated them educating us a bit on the work as I am very uninformed. They were a great help deciding how to safely wire the new outlets for how we are going to use them.

My electricity went out during an extreme heat wave. I phoned Hometown Electrical in a panic.and Rose was very kind and empathic. She phoned Matt and asked if he could see me even though he had worked a full day in the heat. Matt and his assistant Jose arrived within the hour. Matt troubleshot my electrical outage for almost 2 hours - tracing cable through the walls, checking the wiring in the outlets and light switches - all as the temperature in my house climbed to over 90 degrees! He stayed steady and calm throughout! Once he located the problem, he corrected it with ease! I am so grateful to the entire team that came to my rescue! The final bill for services was very very reasonable. I highly recommend Matt and this entire company. Thank you for going the extra extra mile to ensure that I didn't expire during this heat wave!

Chris came to figure out what was wrong with our electrical Watchdog sump pump backup system. Jose also came and performed our household yearly electrical safety check. And although our electrical Watchdog had to be put to sleep after 17 years of loyal service, I was extremely pleased with the service provided by these two gentlemen. I have used Hometown Electrical Doctor for almost 9 years for all my electrical needs and have never been disappointed in their work. I'm sure you won't be either.

Chris was on time, courteous, professional and very thorough. As was his assistant Jose. Chris successfully repaired my outdoor electrical outlets so they work properly and provided instructions for me to easily correct if the dependent outlet goes awry again. Additionally he found a wire from my oven that had recently been singed .. and others before him had missed .. and he was able to repair. Provided options and costs for other issues that I need to address. I’m a happy customer!

Chris did a very thorough job for us. He arrived on time and took care of the items we had listed. After talking with my husband they went through the house and he noted things that were needed to bring our house up to code or make it safer. Then Hometown sent us an itemized estimate for our consideration. We use them for all our electrical work and are very happy with them.
