I just wanted to tell you how great it was to work with Surroundings, especially after such a bad experience with our previous contractor. You guys not only did great, efficient work but you kept us informed every step of the way which we really appreciated. You and your team were also so respectful to not only us but our dogs too. You cleaned up after yourselves and really left our yard looking 100 times better than it did when you got there. If we ever have any other landscaping or yard work to be done we will definitely be using you again and recommending you to everyone we know. Thank you for such a great experience and for truly fixing our yard!

UPDATE (2024): It turns out that a product used in our project had a defect. It didn’t manifest for a while, and there’s no way Surroundings would have known about it when using it initially. When we contacted them about it, they analyzed what happened, discovered the defect, and 100% stood behind it (making a complete repair with a new product). It’s as good as new. This just affirms how happy we are to have used them in the first place.

(2022) Neighbors of ours used Surroundings for a hardscape project and were really happy. We have not been as fortunate in prior projects with others, so we’re happy to give Surroundings a try. We are glad we did. We needed David’s vision and expertise to bring our project to life, and he really delivered. Everyone was prompt and professional. They did what they said they were going to do, and on time. One particular item: when asked to give special attention to an area near the project, so as not to damage it, the crew noticeably went out of their way to protect this area (and then clean it at the end of every day!).

David and his crew designed, laid out, and built a garden path around a circular garden center in the summer of 2020. We could not be happier with the result and the professional service provided by this group of craftsman. The work is fantastic and the cost was very fair....lower than other quotes we received from other local landscaping companies. I recommend Surroundings without hesitation for brick paving work, but based on their approach I bet all their other landscaping work is also fantastic. Thanks guys!

We had a large river birch removed.
Aaron came out quickly and gave us a very reasonable quote and sent a crew promptly. They cut down the tree, ground the stump and removed all surrounding surface roots. They even pulled out 6 large unwanted hydrangeas and left the bed ready for a new tree to be planted. Cleanup was immaculate! Would VERY HIGHLY recommend them!

Aaron and his crew did an excellent job with my project. Everyone was prompt, professional and friendly. Cannot wait to see my trees thrive now after the work they did. Highly recommend!

Aaron Thomas, owner of Keeping it Green, here in Cincinnat, was professional and very detail oriented in the work that he did for Safe Pastures Inc. He used equipment that is first to market in this area, to extract some huge bushes from the front of our property. Due to his expertise in operating the machinery, neither the foundation of the building nor the landscaping in the yard were harmed in any way. Great job, Aaron!

They did a great job, removed two trees and ground the stumps. All was done fast and cleanly. We are very satisfied. We will certainly call them again if we need to remove more trees.

Aaron, was everything I expected and then some. His work spoke for it itself, not only was I thoroughly impressed and satisfied, I recommended him to my neighbor and he removed her fallen tree, branches and leaves also. This is the kicker if you are reading this review, he cleaned up everything the dirt, leaves and branches too. When I say everything I mean everything. I highly recommend this company especially Aaron for anything that has to do with tree service.

Keeping It Green offered a very fair price for our tree removal and stump grinding, and did an excellent job. I was very impressed with their efforts to work neatly…they made a concerted effort to clean up the yard, flower beds, driveway, etc. of all limbs, wood chips, etc. The staff and owner were all very nice and focused on making sure we were happy with the service. We will absolutely do more work with them in the future.

The work was completed promptly. The clean up of the yard was amazing. Other than the tree now being done there was no sign that it had been taken down. All debris including leaves and wood chips were completely removed from the yard. Super satisfied with the work. 😀

Keeping it Green removed a large hickory from our yard. They were very friendly and did a great job. They cleaned up the site very well. I have already recommended them to a family member.

I wanted to thank Marcus , Shy, Aaron and his crew for doing such an outstanding job on my project. From start to finish of this process everyone was so helpful in each step from my first conversation with Shy to the finished job on the spot with Aaron. Rarely do you have someone do a job and it turns out to be even more professional than you imagined it to be. They chopped down my once beautiful tree…..leveled the 5X7 island built around it….and grounded the whole area loaded with roots down to grass level. Everything was picked up and hauled away with no mess remaining anywhere. The price and the personal contact were above and beyond any expectations ! Aaron and his team were outstanding! They demonstrated professionalism, they were always prompt and courteous. They were careful, safe and did an amazing job not only cutting down the huge Oak tree but cleaning up as well. Please view the before and after photos. I highly recommend their expertise!
