Absolutely great experience! We hired them off multiple recommendations and they did not disappoint. We installed a pool and needed significant landscaping around the new pool. It was a big project. Kyle was our main contact and he was great. Very professional, created a beautiful landscape design, and was very receptive to our questions and input on the design. The crew that did the installation was just as impressive. Their work was amazing and were very polite. They were even great with my little ones who loved watching them out the window. I keep going back to J.R. year after year for spring cleaning and they are always my first call for a potential outdoor project.

We had an excellent experience with JR Thomas Landscaping. We worked primarily with Kyle, and he was extremely attentive, communicative, and went above and beyond to make sure we were informed and taken care of. I highly recommend using them if you need anything done on your property!

I have used JR Thomas Landscaping for several projects, and all have turned out to be spectacular. The small landscaping project we did at my parents house several years ago still looks spectacular, and the large project we did this year that encompassed a complete removal and redesign of all landscaping plus addition of lighting in our entire yard plus pool area is amazing. during the planning phase, JR listened to our needs and worked with us to incorporate specific plantings that we wanted, and recommend others which work well in our specific situation. During implementation, the entire crew were wonderful to work with - they let us know when they were going to be working at our house and what they would be doing, so that we were able to plan around them if needed. Finally, they left us with instructions about how to keep our plants healthy throughout the summer and have offered support where we need it. Working with JR Thomas Landscaping was a pleasure, and they made a large project seamless for us. I will certainly call them again if we have need for other work.

I can’t not stress enough what a wonderful experience we had using JR Thomas Landscaping. This was the first time we have ever had landscaping done and J.R came out multiple times to explain to us his ideas and the process. Not only does it look great but everyone we worked with was so wonderful. Dan came to install and again took so much time to walk us through care and made sure everything was perfect before he left. Our project turned out wonderful and we can’t wait to do a second phase next year

We have struggled with a difficult front yard for several years. J R Landscaping reviewed the space , talked to us about our vision and took it from there. They drew up a plan that worked perfectly. They did quick work and gave us complete care instructions. We have had numerous compliments and inquiries about who did the work. I would recommend this company without reservation.

His crew was professional, super courteous, and very helpful in explaining how the plants should be watered, programmed the LED lights, and just plain nice hard working guys. We met with a few landscape/hardscape businesses. What ultimately drove us to JR Thomas Landscaping was two things. First, when I told JR what I had in mind in the way of tress, he told me we couldn't do it. Well, he said we could do it but the trees wouldn't survive and he told me why (we don't have adequate sunlight in the area for the trees that I wanted). No other company said that, they all just said ok and priced me for it. The second reason we chose JR Thomas Landscaping is because they give back to the community.
As for the work, we could not be happier. Our backyard turned out much better than what we had in mind. They took our idea and ran with it. Nate was our crew lead at our house every day. He and Chandler were at our house every day getting after it in even the hottest of days. They were respectful of us, our dogs, our property and our neighbors. Each evening as they wrapped up, they put all of their equipment to the side as if it was their own house.
JR and his team would make daily stops at our house to make sure everything looked good and the work was in line with the design.
I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND JR Thomas Landscaping to anyone looking to do land/hard scape in their yards. They may not be the cheapest, but without a doubt they are the best! You get what you pay for and we now have a sanctuary as our backyard.

These guys are just awesome! They redesigned our front and back landscaping and accommodated all of our project scope creep. The end result exceeded all of our original expectations. The plants are sizable, gorgeous and healthy and all the stone/boulders are perfect. They were professional down to the very last detail. Kyle, Leah, Logan and the entire team are an absolute pleasure to work with and they are excellent at what they do! You definitely get what you pay for with this company. They’re one-of-a-kind. You won’t regret a project with JR.

J.R. Thomas did a lot of great landscaping work at my neighbor’s house, and as someone in the construction industry, I was genuinely impressed. Their crew was well-organized, professional, and extremely respectful of the neighborhood. They went above and beyond to reduce noise, keep the area clean, and minimize all the usual disruptions that come with construction or landscaping work. It’s rare to see a contractor operate with this level of care and attention to detail.
