Tree reviews in Mentor, Ohio

Darren is masterful at the art of removing trees, sometimes big trees! He is honest and sincere. Shows up and does the complete job when he says he will. His prices are more than fair. Most importantly, he is very safety conscious for both himself and the homeowner. Give him a shot, you won’t be disappointed.

Darren was very thorough and knowledgeable in addressing the removal and trimming of several trees. He was on time and left my property in great condition, hauling away the debris. I will definitely have him back this spring for other tree work. I received quotes from other companies and he was the most reasonable. I highly recommend him.

Darren at Guardian Tree Care was GREAT. He showed up when he said he was, he did what he said he was going to do, he cleaned up after himself. Darren has since removed another tree for me, then removed a tree for my neighbor, ground some stumps for another neighbor. I would gladly refer Darren to anyone. If you are looking for QUALITY, VALUE and true ez experience then don’t hesitate to contact Guardian Tree Care.

Darren and his crew did an excellent job. They are very knowledgeable, professional and work very safely. They provided a meticulous clean up throughout the process. We are looking forward to our next tree trimming/removal project with Guardian. We highly recommend Guardian for any tree removal or trimming services that you may need.

Darren was easy to work with and his crew was efficient. Darren took care of calling 811 and even saved me a few pieces from the tree per my request. His quote also beat 4 others! Thanks guys!

Darren is a true professional and expert in his field. We had our mature trees and shrubs trimmed and he made our yard look beautiful! We also needed a line of trees supported and replanted as they were crooked and he took care of that too. Lastly Darren goes above and beyond expectations and is a very kind, honest and hard-working pro! We have recommended him and always get great reviews from our friends. We will continue to use his services for all our future projects. Thank you, Darren!

Our experience with Guardian Tree Care, was amazing, we are very pleased with the results. Darren the owner went, above and beyond and did a impressive job with cutting down a very large locus tree and stump removal. We recommend this company for anyone that’s looking for a job well done. Did I mention that the price was quite reasonable. Satisfied customers,William Felicia Jones

Darren and his team did an amazing job removing several dead trees and shrubs from our property. They worked efficiently, were thorough, and cleaned up afterwards. I would gladly hire them again and have already recommended them to family and friends.

Guardian Tree Care is a very professional organization. The team removed 2 massive 80 year old pine trees from our front yard. Other tree services ,wouldn't even offer a quote because the trees were huge. Safety was Guardian Tree services #1 priority .One removal was delayed because it was too windy .I feel fortunate to have found a sober and skilled group of Arborists .Thank you Guardian Tree Service

After 4 different ridiculous price proposals , I found Darren at Guardian. He came out in a very reasonable time, gave me a fair and affordable estimate and took care of my request very professionally. Job well done ! Thank You for being a very kind and hard worker. I’ll definitely be using your company for my tree services and will highly recommend you to anyone looking for tree services.

Guardian Tree Care just finished up a tree-thinning job for me, and I am very pleased with their entire operation. Darren showed up on time for the estimate, Kaylee kept me informed every step along the way (I didn't have to hound them), and today Darren and his crew showed up on time, did everything I had asked then to do (and a little more), and cleaned up beautifully. I've dealt with several other tree-care companies in the past, and none came even close to the level of service I received from Guardian. Five stars all the way.

You can't do better than Darren and his team at Guardian! We had a tree fall in our back yard and he came by within an hour or two of my call, made a plan, gave a very fair price, and had it out by the afternoon. I liked the service so much I hired him to return later in the week and trim a different problem tree on my property.
Darren is professional, friendly, and runs his business with integrity!

This crew was very professional prompt on time fast response time and a pleasure to do business with no running around like other out fits
The stump grinding that we had done was exceptional done 👍 you have pride in your work
Thank you for letting my stump be the first on your new machine

Darren and his team did an amazing job taking down a tree and grinding a stump and roots that was very close to our house. He did a great job ensuring there was no damage to our house or yard and left everything very clean. Highly recommend this tree company!

Darren was awesome to work with from quote to finish! He showed up promptly and got the job done all within a week. I recommend Guardian Tree Care 100%!

Darrin and his partner did a good job removing a tree from my property today. When I called last week he came out that afternoon and gave me a quote and told me it would be removed that coming week. They came Wednesday and you can't tell they had ever been here. They cleaned up all of the debris. I highly recommend and will be the first one I call in the future and will be the one I recommend to family and friends.

Guardian - Darren and his crew - have performed above and beyond expectations for right pricing, timely communication, excellent and timely service - NO surprises. They have the proper, ‘state of the art’ equipment and people.
Recently - they’ve performed work for me - big and small at two different properties. I couldn’t recommend Any company more fully - and Knowing I’m dealing with a local and family owned NE Ohio company warms my heart.

Darren was incredibly knowledgeable and his team did amazing work. They were efficient, thorough, and extremely respectful to our property as well as the surrounding properties. From start to finish we were very impressed - they left our yard cleaner than it was when they started the project. 12/10 recommend to anyone and everyone needing tree work!

I saw Darren and his crew in the neighborhood and asked him to pop over to my house to take care of a job: Cut down two smaller trees because of the way they were hanging over my garage and grassy area, sucking up all of the sunlight. Darren was completely friendly and very willing to take care of the job on the fly. They left the area tidy and I couldn’t be happier. If I ever have a tree concern or need for trimming or removal, Darren will be the first person I call.

Normally I don’t write reviews, but I do use them for guidance, especially the negative reviews. So when I saw 5.0 stars for “Guardian Tree Care” I called for a quote. I was impressed with Darren and the price so I gave him the job. They arrived promptly at the scheduled time and began working like a precision drill team with no wasted motion. They removed 12@12-15’ arborvitae, 10@15-17’ spruce, 2@35-40’ maple trees, a 15’ flowering tree and were done and cleaned by 2:45. The next morning they came and started grinding the stumps. The stumps were not just ground they were pulverized. Then they cleaned up. My yard was left cleaner then before they started cutting. I cannot emphasize how fair, fast efficient and clean the complete job “Guardian Tree Care” did. On a 5 star rating I would give them a 5.0+++++ and would use them again.

We had a great experience using Guardian for a large tree removal. Darren was great to work with and provided a fair estimate and stuck to his anticipated timeframe. Communication was fantastic and appreciated their help with written quotes and payment options. Would highly recommend them for any tree service need.
