Our installation was very smooth and the crew was great. I did a 99% solution and have not had an electric bill since July. I can't say how happy I was with the entire process. I had three quotes and Icon had the best price, most panels for the money, and the lowest interest rate, with a 1% interest discount for veterans as well.

I can't speak highly enough of Icon Solar. From the start, Matt walked me through the entire process. He listened to my goals and concerns. I am a hands-on person and had tons of questions. Matt was honest through it all. If he knew the answer, he would provide it. If he was unsure, he would say so and would then reach out for the answer. At no time did I feel any pressure. We went back and forth on what panels, what batteries, etc., Matt was very patient.

Once the project was designed, Icon took care of all the coordination with the county, inspectors and Duke. Icon kept me updated every step of the way. Never did I have to remind them, they were on top of everything. I volunteered to dig a required trench to run power from my shop to my house. I found myself in a bind trying to get under the driveway. One phone call to Icon, that same day, provided two young men, a 3" diameter, 10-foot-long conduit pipe and a sledgehammer. Within 2 hours, those young men saved the day. Who takes care of their customers like that these days? Icon does!

I can't say enough positive about the crew. The master electrician Andy took the time to listen to all of my concerns and questions. I have a SPAN panel that needed to be integrated into the mix and Andy made sure that went without a hitch.

The installation crew and other electricians were fantastic. The installation crew are direct employees of Icon, they are not subcontracted and it shows. They treated the job and my property as their own. Every step of the way was quality. Watching Ivan locate the rafters on my roof spoke volumes. He made sure that each anchor for the solar panel rails were dead center in each rafter.

As new customers of Icon Solar, we couldn't be more pleased. The sales/education process was clear and the installation went smoothly. We love how we can monitor how our panels are doing!

So I bought solar from icon and they screwed me up. The sales guy told me that I will get a separate check from IRS when I file my taxes and he never said it's was a tax credit. So here I never owe any tax to IRS but I always get a small refund so basically that taxe credit money I'm never gonna get back . And he told me when I get the separate check I will have to give it to the finance bank in order for me to stay in the same payments. And if I use the money than my payments will go up by $15 only. So now I'm never gonna get that tax credit back and the back is going to charge me $50 more on top of my payments . The guy sold me 16 panels for $30,000 with 6.4 kilo watts for a 2400 sq feet house .Which at that I didn't know because he told me that's good enough for your house. Now im still paying for solar and I'm paying huge NV energy bill and the solar is not helping me. So now when I called the icon solar company to help me they told me to add more panels which is $10,000 more otherwise they can't do anything else . So here I'm screwed for 30 years with $127 plus $50 more which is $177 every month for 30 years which I'll be paying off $56,000 to icon solar so I got really cheated so please people don't go with icon solar and if you go please make sure to get everything written on black and white and do see how many kilo watts they give you. Thief company that don't wanna help and always hangs the phone on you.im trying to find a lawyer for a lawsuit against them.

We had an amazing experience with Icon Solar. Our sales rep Hanna could not have been more helpful. She was available day or night for any of our many questions. She was friendly, extremely knowledgable and always ready to make sure each step of the process was going smoothly. Our install team was equally commendable. Ivan, Hunter and Lou had a very long day on a hot roof, but the install went very smoothly. They had no problem with us curiously watching their work all day and asking questions. I cannot recommend Icon Solar enough and hope to refer them on to many in the future.

ICON SOLAR did an excellent job installing my solar system. They were happy to answer all my questions and also accommodating to my schedule. The onsite crew was professional and flexible with a few requests I had as to the installation. I am quite pleased with their work.

The installation of my 26 solar panels went smoothly and looks better than I hoped for. The installers were polite and cleaned up everything before they left. I appreciate the updates that Icon provided about when the permits were submitted, when they expected the last approvals, scheduling the one-day installation, and a follow-up call to ask if I had any questions or concerns.

very positive experience with icon solar. Lee was my contact throughout the process. WhatvI love the most was that there were no high pressure sales tactics. The crew was very professional and the installation of the panels and meter went very smoothly. configurations of the panels on my roof is very aesthetic. Things were done neatly and the system was thoroughly explained in regards to its operation once installed. Any questions or concerns I had were addressed promptly.
I will probably add more panels within the next year and will definitely stay with icon solar. Great company!

Overall positive experience with Icon Solar. We've had a 52 panel ground mount install for 2+ years and it's worked very well. We had some service needs due to a bad panel or two and the team @Icon has responded appropriately. They've worked with us and it's continued to be a good business relationship. Make sure to do your research and understand the contract stipulations and you'll be satisfied.

I was referred to Icon Solar through the Solar Over Louisville initiative. They installed 14 panels on my roof and from beginning to end Rachel and the team were great. They did everything they said they were going to do. All permits were pulled and inspections were no problem.
I am saving money and I am happy. I am already thinking about expansion.
If that happens, I will be calling Icon Solar.

Icon Solar does a good job of walking you through the process of going solar in a realistic way. Personnel kept me well informed throughout the process. Installers were polite, kind, professional and took pride in doing their best work. Therefore, I would highly recommend Icon Solar to design and install your solar system.

They have been amazing to work with, we contacted them years ago, and they very honestly told us that the house we were in would not work for solar.
In our current house we wanted to get a few quotes, one of the companies quoted us at a much higher price and they did not look up the bylaws concerning solar in our area, so they overpromised what they were able to do.
Icon Solar came in prepared, had all of the bylaws, knew how many panels we would be able to fit on the back of our house, and even fit a few more panels on the front of the house when we asked.
The entire time they have communicated clearly with us, and we have been impressed by how upfront and honest they are.

The installation crew (we had solar panels and electrical panel upgrade done on the same day) worked tirelessly and efficiently. Icon Solar also sent a dry wall mechanic to spruce up the wall where the larger electrical panel was installed. We really appreciated this thoughtful detail. We recommend Icon Solar highly. They were easy to work with, offered top-of-the-line products, and did an outstanding job.

We had a great experience with Icon Solar. We've had the system for over a year. Owning a solar energy system requires zero effort (the only blip so far has been with the *software* that monitors the system, so I lost a day's worth of data, while still receiving power from the system). It is such a satisfying experience to get low double-digit electricity bills while running my AC through the summer. If I had a larger roof I would add more panels and pay nothing for electricity. But why Icon? Excellent and honest people! A year into ownership, Marc still responds to my text or email immediately. Before my purchase, Marc pointed out that I was overpaying for electricity with my provider, a fact another solar company I considered didn't bother to tell me. Icon folks are honest straight shooters who know what they are talking about. I strongly recommend this company.

We have been rooftop solar for about 6 months and delighted with Icon. They were basically turnkey, handled all designs, permits, installation and post installation monitoring and support. A key factor for us is that they are locally owned and operated and the installers were employees, not subcontractors. They've been focused primarily on solar for 20+ years. I was also very impressed at how well they calculated our consumption, right-sided the number of panels and guaranteed a minimum level of power production. Even with an EV charging at home and AC running all summer while I work at home, we have produced more power than consumed, wiping out the entire power bill each month and even resulting in a small credit towards the gas bill for the water heater.

We had the solar panel installed a week ago, so we cannot say how they are working just yet. But, with dealing with Icon Solar it has been a pleasing experience. The salesman explained everything very well and answered all of our questions. If he didn't know the answer he checked into it and got back with us. The install crews were phenomenal.They explained exactly what they were going to be doing and about how long it would take. They were very cautious with everything around the house. They were very courteous and did what they said they were going to do. We are excited to see how the panels really work when the electric company gets us up and running.

From the low pressure sales experience to the very professional installers to the after -install support when we had a small issue with the system, everyone at Icon we encountered was helpful, professional and generally great to work with. We purchased panels from Icon about six months ago and are happy with the results. They were the most expensive of the companies we talked to, however, they made my spouse and I
feel the most comfortable with down to earth sales that didn't use any smoke and mirrors (unlike some of the other companies we got bids from).

Financing was straight forward and fair. Interest rates were competitive with other companies.

As you can imagine, solar was one of the largest investments we have ever made, and as such, I had a lot of anxiety. I was on the phone to them, trying to organize or get updates, all the time --- and they were gracious about it. They always returned our calls and handled the work in a timely manner.

They had the quickest install time estimate--- which they exceeded. From start, to permits, install, and connection to the grid was right around six weeks. Less than half the time of their competitors.

Our experience with Icon Solar has been overwhelmingly positive. We are still waiting to see if the system will cover as much of our energy as projected, but so far it looks good.
