They sent two young guys out and they were professional, courteous and asked for preferences. Had them build a small bed for our camera bird feeder and they did great. Had them move some dirt, rocks and other things. They charged by the hour but they worked the entire time. I would definitely use them again.

Haymaker was cutting trees down on the property across the street from me but decided to drop all the timbered logs on my front lawn without notifying me or asking my permission. Not only did they create a huge liability with their haphazardness in their log stacking but my lawn is now destroyed: the culvert they placed the logs on is caved in, and a week later they haven’t been picked up. Do not give these people business.

Extremely happy with Haymakers! We were under a time crunch to get a stump grinded, and top soil/seed replaced. They originally quoted me one date but I asked if it could be moved up since our home would be listed for sale quickly. They were able to accommodate us! Thank you for your flexibility and truly meeting your customers need.

I wanted to give you feedback on my landscaping installation yesterday. First of all, RJ did an excellent job communicating prior to arrival. The crew arrived on time and RJ communicated with me as the job progressed and valued my guidance and feeback. I am very happy with the end result, my beds look phenomenal. I am glad the beds were lined prior to the river rock application and the selection of trees and plants are perfect. The crew also cleaned up all debris and hosed off all dirt. This was my first experience with Haymaker and I am very pleased I chose your company to do the work. If/When I need additional work, you will be first on my list to call. Most people only provide negative feedback, especially in today’s society. I just wanted send along my praise for the hard work and job well done!

We recently booked Haymaker to remove two large white pine trees from our property. While the tree cutting process itself was satisfactory, my overall experience was marred by a lack of communication and trash cleanup issues.
The actual tree removal went smoothly, but the problems arose afterward. The crew left trash around our yard, which was disappointing and unexpected. This oversight necessitated an additional effort on our part to clean up after the work was supposedly completed.
One of the major concerns was the inconsistent communication. I understand that scheduling can be challenging due to various factors, and I'm flexible about the timing of the job. However, there was a lack of clarity regarding whether the crew had finished their work or not. Despite making calls to confirm the status, we were left in the dark about their progress, the nice person who answered the phone didn’t even appear to know. This uncertainty led to a frustrating situation where my husband began cleaning up the yard, believing the job was finished, only for the crew to return unexpectedly. This miscommunication resulted in wasted time and effort on both our part and the crew's.
Furthermore, a specific incident highlighted the lack of coordination. After being informed that the job was completed, my husband went ahead and reinstalled a fence that had been taken down during the tree removal process (we were aware the fence would be taken out). To our surprise, the crew showed up again after the fence was already back in place. This back-and-forth not only caused confusion but also led to unnecessary work being done on our property for both sides.
In summary, my experience with Haymaker was not ideal. While the tree cutting aspect was satisfactory, the poor communication, trash cleanup issues, and unexpected returns by the crew left a negative impression. The one-star rating primarily reflects the disappointment of having to clean up trash. -
Haymaker did an unbelieve job transforming our backyard from overgrown woods, to a beautiful place to spend time with our family. Their crew was courteous and professional for the two-three days they spent at the property. I would highly recommend Haymaker to anyone looking for tree work or landscaping creativity. Great work guys!

I was so impressed with them that I felt compelled to call the office and leave a compliment as well. Every single person on the crew was professional. Services I received was the takedown of two 40 year old cherry trees where I didn’t have to remove anything in the yard. They cut everything down vertically and placed it down in sections I could manage. I was able to cut and split everything over a couple of days. And as I write, the stump machine arrived and made the stumps disappear.

Haymaker took down two trees against our house. They performed quickly, cleaned up and offered advice to prevent regrowth. I was very pleased with the work and will use their services for any trees going forward. Highly recommend.

I called their office to get an estimate for the tree removal work we needed done and they never came out to look at it, never gave an estimate and never contacted us back. We waited 3 weeks before hiring another company. And to this day we have never heard back from them.

This company was at our neighbors home. Them cleaning their yard was blowing everything into ours. Absolutely do not recommend these people unless you don’t like your neighbors.

Had them trim trees for me in Perry and they did exactly what we agreed upon at the quoted price. Crew was courteous and on time. Clean up was better than expected. Very highly recommend this company.

I have used Timberlands for several years now. They are an insured tree care company and operate as professionals. Work is done on time and always to my satisfaction. I recommend you use them!

Waited 3 weeks for 'Kevin' to come out and give us an estimate. He called a few weeks ago, said he would be out in the next day or two. Never came. Not a very good representative for this company. So Timberland LOSES,we gave another company $4,000 for work we needed done. Will NEVER EVER call them again!!!

Left the stomp grind and mud clear down to my driveway instead of pushing this massive mess back up to the hole where the stomp was then lied about coming back out to push it back up. I had other services come out to take a look and flat out couldn’t believe this massive piece of mess....this company just gave no care about iit deal with basically is their attitude I do not recommend this company do not use them not one other person that came out to look at this had an excuse as to why this horrible mess was left the way it was by Timberland tree service was told someone would be out that weekend to push this mess back up where it should have been left in the first place job done on Wednesday it’s Monday and this mess still stands haven’t heard a word or seen a person with a bobcat on my property and to think I would use them again HELL NO people keep asking WHO left that like that and how will I fix it

Do not recommend!! Complete idiots. Received an estimate from them to have our 80+ year old red maple trimmed. We didn't pursue it and decided to wait. 3 months later we came home to find that they were at our home and had CUT THE TREE DOWN ( no one was home at the time). The person in charge right then said they had made a mistake. After a few ugly phone calls, the owner of Timberland's showed up at our home and was a complete jerk. He refused to do anything about it and demanded payment.

We had a huge rotting tree in the front side yard of the house we purchased in the fall of last year that needed to go. According to the neighbors, half of it had already split and fallen a couple of years ago, and this tree was pretty pitiful to look at.
My husband called Timberlands last Thursday the 17th requesting a quote, and the next day there was a quote in our mailbox. My husband called them Monday the 21st to get the ball rolling and the guys were out yesterday afternoon, the 22nd, at about 1pm. The trunk was stripped completely bare by 2:30, the tree was down and the crew had cleaned up and gone by 3:30- and by crew I mean only 2 guys, who were extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. They did such a fantastic job and even cleaned up as much sawdust as they could. They chipped up and got rid of everything except the trunk, but did slice the trunk up for us so we can split it to burn. I can't even begin to tell you how awesome it was dealing with Timberlands.
Their pricing is competitive and honestly, for the quick and quality job they are going to do, it is 100% worth the cost. I would recommend them to anyone and we will use them in the future if we need to! Thanks, guys!
