Highly recommend Double J’s Landscaping. Josh Miller was fantastic to work with, always communicated and offered the best deal for a new lawn that I could find in North Ridgeville. His team even came back to help build up additional beds and always answered my questions.

Josh and his crew put our lawn in last fall (2022). We did everything we were told, especially watering! I wasn't sure how it would come in this spring, but I have to say we have the nicest lawn in the entire neighborhood!! We are getting compliments from all the neighbors and I couldn't be more pleased. You can't go wrong with Josh and the Double J's team!!!

We are senior citizens and have a large driveway. Double J meticulously cleared snow from the driveway and walks and front porch and even cleaned snow off my car. This is a big deal for me to not have to clear quite a bit of snow off my car. Their lawn service is also first class. Highly recommend and price is reasonable.

We have used Double J's for lawncare for years now. Recently though we did a big project in our backyard with new rocks around our pool and new landscape lighting. Josh and his crew completely transformed our back yard! Its amazing! I cannot say enough, or recommend them any more completely. Just a top tier first class group from start to finish and very, very reasonably priced. From the owner, to the workers, to the wonderful young lady that answers the phone, you just don't find this kind of service, pricing and results anywhere anymore. World class organization with the feel and service of a family business. Id give ten stars if I could!

Josh and his team did an excellent job, they followed schedule closely, and my lawn grew very well. Moreover, Josh provided very competitive price. If I had to repeat the whole process again, I would still choose Double J to do the job. Josh is honest and keeps his word. I highly recommend double J for any lawn installation

NB: if you do a spring lawn installation, you will need to do extra irrigation. You will likely have weeds that will need to be treated. It is the nature of spring lawns. Josh did tell me about that and I was able to get all that addressed, now my lawn is green and strong.

We have been using Double Js for about 6 yrs now and are always satisfied. Not only is the work done well, the staff and crew are extremely polite and professional and very quick to respond. We’ve had neighbors ask who does our landscaping and have referred to many. Our family members also use them. If you want good work, professional, kind, and thorough service look no further.

My lawn is the ugliest lawn in the neighborhood. Filled with bald spots, crab grass and clover. Tress are leaning heavily. I was told it was my fault for having them install in spring 😂….yet they had no issues taking my $8k in that same spring. The owner, Josh took no responsibility. He came back to re seed it since he also agreed it looked AWFUL….but the lawn actually looks worse. I used a lawn fertilizer company that he recommended and they , along with 2 other landscaping companies, told me it was under seeded and poorly done. I will now have to pay twice as much to have it taken out and done properly. BEWARE!!!!!

I hired double j to keep my grandma safe. She is 89 years old and goes to church 5 days a week. I asked for her driveway to stay plowed and salted like the cleveland clinic. They have done this and done a great job for the past three years. I highly.recxomend them

Extremely disappointed with the whole experience.

When I questioned the labor quote, which was broken out by line item, I was told that it was quoted by the job, which didn't make sense when there were separate line items for labor (x1) and supplies (x2).

When the grass came in, it was very patchy, with huge bare spots. They told me to make sure it stayed constantly moist. To do that, I would have to water it 24/7. I was already watering it several times a day. They finally agreed to come back out to put more grass seed and insisted they did, but per the three cameras in the front of the house, no one came back.

The area they seeded is completely covered in crabgrass, and their response was "It’s full sun. In the middle of 100-degree summer heat. Ask Custom Lawns, it happens when it’s hot in full sun. Nothing we can do about it but treat it with fert and weed killer, which is a part of your fertilizer package with custom!"

Pictures are of the sparse lawn 1 month after they seeded and now, almost 2 months later, completely covered in crabgrass.

I would not use them again, nor recommend them to anyone seeking to put in a new lawn or an area with new grass.
