Made 2 appointments with these people and they never showed up or bothered calling to say they were not coming, 2 days wasted waiting.

This company has truly no idea what they are doing. They have cost me $1500 and my issues are worse off now then before they touched them.

I too paid $400- last year. Thought all winter I had a clean and safe chimney. I did not!

No show. Made appointment 2 weeks out. Called day before scheduled appointment to confirm. Day of appointment and no one shows up.

Complete incompetence. Paid $400 for nothing and house filled with smoke. Never solved the problem. Never came back or called.

They come out and never complete the work. Won't return call. Don't use them they are HORRIBLE I will recommend you find someone else.

BEWARE!!!! They never made it to my house. 25mins after the appt time the tech still has not showed up, no courtasy call or anything. When I called them they said oh yeah, he's not going to make it to your house today. They didnt even ask to make another appt or apologize for the inconvience.

Chimney Cricket went above and beyond to make sure the job was completed before the cold weather set in. They were accommodating to our schedules and fantastic around our very large dog. We could not have asked for a better company!

They worked on our fireplace. Inserted a new liner from the roof down. It did not connect with the smoke box so it would not draft up the chimney. The probelm is they knew they didnt do it right but didnt tell us. We had 2 fires and the house filled with smoke both times. When we called - Dean said he talked to the technicians and they said they couldnt get it in all the way. They knew they didnt do it right but left it that way. We seriously could have died. Shotty workmanship. Also (didnt apply to us) but one of the worker guys told my husband that he isn't certified to install gas lines for fireplaces but that Cricket sends him out to do it anyways.
Never use them !

They supposedly came out for an inspection when I was at work. Two days go by - no quote or call. I called and they said they tried to e-mail me the quote but it came back as undeliverable. Checked the e-mail address and they had two numbers transposed - no big deal, it happens. I corrected them a few days ago, still no quote. When I call, I just get voice mail. I'm certainly not going to get my work done here.

We paid Chimnee Cricket a $1,000 deposit on having a chimney liner installed, based on their inspection of our chimney. When they showed up to install the liner, they couldn't actually install it due to an issue with the chimney that they should have caught at the time of inspection. They wanted another $2,500 on top of the previously agreed-on fee so that they could knock a hole in our chimney in order to attach the liner. We refused.

Now, they won't refund our deposit. They say that they had to order special materials for us. (What, a chimney liner? That's special? For a chimney repair place? I don't think so.) We're going to have to take them to court to get our $1,000 deposit back!

Stay away from this company... FAR away!

I tried working with several chimney companies before finding Chimney Cricket. Not every chimney co. does stucco repair, so it was slim pickings. What a relief it was when they came. They were quick to quote and estimate, with a small delay between actual service; however, I attribute that to the weather and demand. It was in the middle of the winter. Once out, they performed the job handsomely, quickly, and fixed the botched work of another provider. A two man crew working in the freezing cold had most of the work done in one day, with a second day for touch up. We are very satisfied, and feel comfortable using them again, and recommending them to other homes in need.

I echo the BEWARE! After the initial missed installation date Nov 11, 2014, due to them not getting parts delivered, I have called almost every day for 10 days trying to get status on parts and only had 1 return call in which we set a date, Nov 18 2014, for their either having the parts or cancellation of the project. (Note: I only called this many times, because they failed to make the update calls they promised.)
After passing the firm date of Nov 18, where they were to call with either an installation date or a cancellation, they still have not called; it is Nov 21, 2014, and I believe they are now ducking my phone calls. I hope I don't have to go to court for a refund of the advance monies I already paid them. I would give 0 stars if this rating system would allow this. I made the mistake of using another referral service to connect me with this bad experience; I should have checked these reviews before I contacted this company.

WE HAD AN EMERGENCY WHEN OUR HOT WATER HEATER NEEDED TO BE IMMEDIATELY REPLACED. WITH A VERY SHORT NOTICE, THE COMPANY ON THE SAME DAY INSTALLED OUR NEW WATER HEATER AND FILLED OUT THE NECESSARY PAPER WORK ALONG WITH PICS FOR OUR REIMBURSEMENT FROM OUR HOME WARRANTY. EXCELLENT AND PROMPT SERVICE DESERVES A+. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR ALL OF YOUR HVAC WORK. GREAT JOB AND MANY THANKS

In June 2022 we had a new air conditioner installed. The local business put in a Weather King. 9 months later in February 2023 the unit stopped working. We had to pay for the tech to come twice.
The motor was bad. So we had to pay the shipping for a new motor. The unit worked for 6 months then it stopped working again. We had to pay the tech to come out. The coil is leaking. We had to pay to have a new coil shipped. We have never had a bad air conditioner before. They usually last for many years. I would not recommend installing a Weather King.
We are now in the process of putting in a different brand air conditioner. The Weather King Company does not stand by their product.

Weatherking did a great job!!! Pavin came out 1st thing this morning and changed out a leaking Hot Water Tank to avert a disaster!

I called Costco for their HVAC company to give us a quote. They connected us to this company weather King. I called Costco on 5/3 and Weather King called us on 5/3. The lady was very nice on the phone and questioned if our heat and cooling were still working. I informed her that my A/C is currently not working. She then proceeded to say she could have someone out next Friday between 12 and 2. I sat home all day waiting for them today on 5/10. No call no show. I called Weather King to inform them. They stated that had me down for 5/17. Which was not what was initially said to me on the phone. Because why would I have agreed to wait 2 weeks for a quote with a broken unit and I am not even in town that day. I told the lady this on the phone she put me on hold. She then Proceeded to tell me well they are coming next week. I told her just to cancel and that I was calling Costco to complain because this company should not be allowed to advertise through them. And I told her I was going to write up a Google review. She told me that I wasn’t being fair to them since they are coming next week. And told me that I am crazy for doing so. Clearly, after this interaction I do not want them in my home. How unprofessional!

Back in June, we were connected to Weatherking through the Costco Lenox program. Great experience start to finish. Our furnace and AC quit at the same time. Raj was out the next day and two days later his team was on site installing the new equipment. They finished 5 hours later, cleaned up the entire work area and gave us a tutorial re: using the new thermostat and unit. Been 6 months and absolutely no issues. Pricing was considerably less than the three other quotes we received. Very satisfied.

We have had Weather King for over 11 years and I will not use any other HVAC company. The employees are always courteous, knowledgeable, and answer all my questions.
