We purchased our pool through Blue Dolphin and we are very happy with the way it turned out. We interviewed a few different company's before deciding on Blue Dolphin. What stood out to me was that the owner met with me and not an employee, he was down to earth, was willing to work with me and created what I wanted. I literally drew what I wanted in my back yard and it turned out better than I had hoped. They had even came out to the house and outlined exactly what it was going to look like before starting the project. From the pouring of the concrete based on my design, piping, electrical, installation, etc was all taken care of by this one company. I would recommend this company and I am sure that if you shop around and look for a total package experience you will not find one that will deliver more than Blue Dolphin.

Blue dolphin pools did an OUTSTANDING job with the installation of our inground fiberglass pool! Everyone was extremely professional & understanding of our needs. Ryan & Pat were wonderful, we definitely highly recommend Blue Dolphin!!! Call Blue Dolphin if your looking for a SUPERIOR pool company!!! You won't be disappointed!!!!

Cemented my pipes in wrong.
Lied to me about rules regarding how close equipment can be placed under a window, and then when HIS OWN electrician came to hook up equipment and said he couldn’t put it under my window, tried to charge ME for his mistake.
I paid extra for an upgraded pump and heater, he installed neither and never mentioned it. My father noticed that I didn’t have the equipment noted on my contract. He then never once apologized, he actually blamed me and said I rushed him so I could have a pool party.
Installed the wrong size gas line (he installed one that worked with the heater he installed, not the one I paid for.)
His own father, Pat contacted us and agreed that they screwed up and would help make it right. My dad agreed to rerun the gas line if they did the electrical. Ryan then told his father that he wasn’t paying to fix anything and to stay out of it. His own father called us back and told us.
He did not hook the pump up correctly. The directions clearly state there are supposed to be x # inches of straight pipe going into the filter to ensure a laminar flow (less wear and tear on your pump and it will last longer) there was not.
My pipes laid across my lawn for THREE MONTHS while I fought him to fix his shoddy work.
Required four pool companies to assess his work, all 4 said don’t let him bury your pipes, before he came and fixed it.
Never graded my side yard like he was supposed to.
Cut my cable line and never said a word.
Never gave me my year supply of chemicals.
Never gave me the ladder for my deep end.
Never gave me my winter cover.
Never took 5 minutes to show me how anything worked. Nothing. I had another pool company come out and teach me.
He took all of my plants off of their cement blocks and used MY pavers to place his cheap plastic thing to place the equipment on.
I refused to pay him the final $2,000 until the job was done and done right. I never saw him again. So yes, I never made the last payment, but I also have a heater smaller than what paid for as well as all the things he never gave me.

The Owner Ryan and his team were more than professional. Every step was detailed and the punctuality was amazing. I couldn’t have picked a better pool builder and would definitely recommend blue dolphin pools to everyone. My mother actually want the team to come to Cleveland and put one in.

Blue Dolphin Fiberglass Pools did a fantastic job with the install of our pool! Covid and supply chain issues caused some delays as well as worrying on my part, but at the end of the day Ryan, his team and Latham came through and we could not be more pleased with the outcome. AND…. the outside contractors – Chris and Nate from Maumee Valley Property Services and Jerry and his crew from Keller Concrete – WOW all great guys! Very professional, friendly and easy to work with! I would definitely recommend Ryan @ Blue Dolphin to anyone looking for a pool.

Ryan and his crew were fantastic. They were all extremely polite and knowledgeable of the job at hand. He and his crew went above and beyond for our family to get the pool installed in a timely matter. Any questions we did have Ryan answered in a very timely matter and explained everything to us perfectly. We couldn't be happier with the entire process. Would highly recommend Blue Dolphin to anyone looking for a inground pool.

So, this review is coming 2 1/2 years post installation. The pool quality is excellent, and the prices are definitely fair for the system and quality of the pool. Overall the guidance on what pool is best for the family is best and the blue dolphin team is fun to work with and personable. The problems we experienced come with execution and quality of the work performed. Our pool was not correctly set to grade. We found a way to work past this with a great recommendation from Ryan and his team. However, in retrospect we should have pulled the entire pool and reset at grade. The quality of the electric is excellent. The quality of the concrete is good. The mechanical has many cut corners resulting in plumbing and heating problems resulting in a dead pump and need to rerun our natural gas line. Instead of Teflon tape on pump seal blue dolphin used a bead is silicon which failed after 2 years. Salt water leak near an air cooled pump killed pump in a week $325.00, the gas line had appropriate pressure but not volume of gas to get adequate combustion at recommend size. Re-run gas line $500 and 5 visits from fire department for reported gas leak. Now, the plumbing system is not be installed with quality in mind, no unions and no close off for main drain. Not properly winterized. I don’t have a great experience on many aspects, If you use blue dolphin educate yourself on the mechanical side and insist that no corners are cut. Don’t expect any service post installation on a $70,000 pool. Personally understand what is important to you and inspect quality with outside expert.

There are so many other options! Make a better decision. Ryan promised a delivery of our pool as soon as the ground broke this spring. Pool was installed in early November. Ryan did not return our calls for 6 months. NO communication all spring, NOTHING all summer, and NO returned alls all fall until late September when he said he might get it in this year. Finally on Nov the pool gets installed and Ryan’s team pushed all the dirt over my fence and ruined my backyard by pushing the dirt everywhere. I will need to replace the fence and replant grass next spring. The pool was not closed properly and I had to hire another plumbing company to finish the job. What a terrible experience!

Pool went in the day Ryan said it would, early spring. Quick and professionally done with beautiful result. Had a problem with the pump timer and he upgraded and replaced it no charge. Highly recommend Blue Dolphin.

We signed our contract June 2020 and Ryan installed our pool October 2020. Product is exactly what we wanted. Ryan worked with us when it came to what we wanted and there was no pressure to purchase any extras. Ryan actually did most of the work himself. Communication is the one downside to using Blue Dolphin. Ryan is hard to get ahold of but we love our pool. The electrician and concrete contractors are easy to work with and do wonderful work. Would recommend Blue Dolphin.

Ryan and his team installed our pool this June. We are extremely happy with our pool and patio. Ryan stayed true to the timeline and budget that he agreed to. The whole process moved very quickly once it started. Ryan responded to our questions in a timely manner. The pump and heater were delayed due to covid, but that was out of his control. Once they came in, Ryan had someone come and install them. The concrete crew and electricians were very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend Blue Dolphin for a pool installation.

Ordered our pool about 3 weeks ago and I have to say Ryan has been the best contractor I have ever had to work with. Very friendly and was willing to help us out. Pool is supposed to be put in middle to end of July and my kids are so excited. I would recommend Ryan and blue dolphin pool any day.

Final update: The refund we agreed to has been made in full and the matter is concluded. Updating from 1 to 3 stars. I would go higher but the length of time it took to settle was longer than I’d have liked.

Update: After posting this review Ryan had reached out to me and we had settled on a contract for reimbursement. Things started out fine but after one month and a % of the payments, contact became non existent. As you can see from the photos below he’s aware of his situation but with minimal contact it’s hard to say whether or he’s actually making an effort.

After signing a contract back in 2022, I had paid my 51% down promptly and was told I’d be put on the schedule and possibly installed that same year. The year came and went without install and very little communication. I was ok with that because I was informed how busy the company was and that they would do their best. 2023 came and there was some personal struggles that ensued and I kept in contact with Ryan that I would possibly be needing a refund because of a pending divorce but I would keep him informed because I still wanted the install but was going to have to do a lot of work to make it happen. Needless to say the install wasn’t feasible and that’s why I’m here. After over a year of negotiations and dealings with Ryan and an attorney, he and I came to an agreement on a refund. For almost 2 months I’ve had zero interaction with him or his attorney. I’ve messaged multiple times and gotten zero response. And now as of 2 weeks ago he has blocked my number. The first payment of the 4 payment installments was supposed to be on 12/15/24 and he promptly blocked my number 2 days before hand. This is unacceptable that a local business owner and a man who calls himself a Christian would do this to another Christian. I’ve filed a complaint with the BBB, now Google, and soon will be a call for action since this is becoming criminal theft. I followed every line of his contract and now he’s made the conscious decision to ignore his own rules and this is unacceptable. I don’t know if this will get me anywhere but at this point it’s the principle of the matter not about the money. Thanks for reading.

We could not be happier about our experience and service we received from Ryan and his staff & sub-contractors. Everyone showed up on time, were respectful and ensure we were informed of their progress that day and what to expect the following day. They started on a Thursday and were completed with the project the following Thursday. It was nice to watch the progress each day. We forgot to inform them that we added a concrete area, when they came out to grade the yard with the extra dirt, they said no problem and simply brought more dirt back in to ensure our yard looked perfect.

Every contractor they hired was professional. We could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you for helping us to make our kids dreams of having their own pool in their backyard come true.

I was approached by Ryan from Blue Dolphin Pools via text message asking permission to go through my yard to put in a neighbor’s pool. After meeting with one of their contractors, and talking with my neighbor I agreed so long as my fence and yard were repaired and any damages were taken care of at their expense. He assured me they’d take care of it and that it would only be a few days. A month later they finished my neighbors pool and put my fence back but left nothing but dirt as a repair. They didn’t replace my grass and my swing gate is now a fixed gate. They left my downspout extension laying next to the house along with a sizable piece of what was my fence. I would NEVER recommend this company.

1 star because you can’t give zero. Horrible company. Like someone said RUN not walk from these people. Installed wrong from the beginning. Cracks throughout the pool. Concrete is cracked all the way around the pool. Was going to install the heater and other pool equipment next to the back door which is not approved by code. Place is a joke. Good luck!!

I am beyond grateful. It was a long process due to Covid delaying a lot of things. I am so excited to use my pool next year since I didn’t get to use it much this year being installed toward the end of the year. I could not be happier, it is beautiful. It looks like a resort and I’m on vacation every day for the summer. Having the heater allows me to have more days to enjoy it in the beginning of the year and the end. They listened to my needs, and my wants. The concrete is absolutely beautiful. I’m glad I chose this company, no regrets. My pool is absolutely beautiful, can’t wait to finish the landscaping next year. Thank you for everything that you’ve done for me and my daughter! You guys are the best! Extremely satisfied customer!

Finding the right pool company can be very challenging. We are very picky people. We had to find the right one, and we did!! Ryan, Pat and the crew were very timely, efficient and hard working. We are very pleased with our new pool installed by Blue Dolphin Fiberglass Pools. We ordered our pool In June of 2020 and construction began in September. We did a lot of research ahead of time and were impressed with Blue Dolphin as they installed ours using the best practices in the industry. Ryan oversaw every step of the project with his veteran team and often times did the detail work himself. Ryan was flexible and worked with us to customize several components of our project. Additionally In the middle of a pandemic; with supply and worker shortages everywhere; Blue Dolphin never missed a beat on our project. Communication was straightforward and honest. Ryan went out of his way and called several times to make sure we were on the same page. We love our new pool and just completed our first summer season enjoying it. We wouldn't hesitate to work with Blue Dolphin again as their value, quality of product and experience make them a quality company.

Blue Dolphin installed our pool just a few months ago. The process was extremely efficient, and the results have been great. We love the setup, and the look of the pool/concrete is everything we hoped for. Ryan was extremely helpful throughout this process, and I appreciated any and all feedback he gave. He was extremely responsive, and fair in every aspect from start to finish. Kids were able to swim once before closing and we couldn't get them out.
