Kicking Ash has cleaned and serviced my gas fireplace for the last several years. I am always impressed with their attention to minimizing mess and how professional the team is. I had used the wrong cleaner on my glass and had caused a solid black buildup on the backside. To my surprise, Taylor cleaned it perfectly and it looks like new! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a thorough evaluation of our old gas fireplace system and they discovered a dangerous problem with the valve. We stopped by the showroom to pick out a new system. They have a wide selection and got us a good price. Alex installed the system yesterday and it’s going great! Super service and very clean.

We could not be happier with our fireplace! Chase was curteous and quick to respond via email with answers to our questions from start to finish in the decision-making process. This was a 5-day job because we had a complete remodel done. Logan proved to be a very hard worker and addressed any questions/concerns we had throughout the whole labor process-he is definitely talented in his trade and it shows in his work. Highly recommend.

During the purchase inspection of a 30 year old home, the home inspector identified some water damage under the fireplace and recommended we call Kicking Ash which we did. Even though Kicking Ash was in their busy time, they fit us into their schedule within two days of our request. They showed up on time and conducted a thorough inspection of the damaged area. They provided a great report which included a very reasonable estimate to repair the damage and upgrade the burner components to modern efficiency standards. Everyone I spoke to including the office staff was helpful and responsive. Chase Mullikin, who did the inspection reviewed it personally with us and put us at ease that we could go ahead with the purchase of the home. Chase even provided some suggestions to help until the damage could be repaired. Chase gained my trust with his straight forward assessment and recommendations. I would not hesitate to use this company for any of my chimney needs.

I would like to thank Kicking Ash Chimney for doing a great install of my Regency H2100 Heart Stove. Taylor and his crew came out to the house and were so professional, polite and very knowledgeable of the product they installed. After the initial install, Kicking Ash Chimney came back out to give me a hand with the trim piece that goes around the stove and also helped me position the stove on a hearth that I constructed with no questions asked. Great people at Kicking Ash Chimney!!

I confirmed my appointment over a month in advance, and had follow up conversation regarding the cost estimate. Yet this morning, nearly two hours after they were to arrive I called and was told that i never confirmed the appointment and the part hasn’t even been ordered. I’ve heard from others since booking this appointment to beware but can now add my own feedback to that warning. Don’t use this company and expect actually customer service or apparently any service.

I cna't say enough good things about Jeremy and his team at kciking ash! They have helped my with my personal home as well as with my commercial projects! I sweat they have the answer to everyting! And their pricing is very very good!

My husband and I bought a house this year and when we did our home inspection they let us know that we needed some chimney work done. When I contacted Kicking Ash they were able to come out and do a full inspection. We found out that the home we purchase had basically never had any fireplace maintenance done before and our fireplace was actually quite dangerous to use. We worked with Kicking Ash not only to have exterior work done to correct a lean, install new flashing and waterproof the chimney, but to completely repair the inside and install a lovely new insert that will heat our whole downstairs. The teams were prompt, professional, easy to work with, and always upfront about everything. They even worked with me to create a custom backing plate for my very rare arched fireplace so that it didn't damage the aesthetic appeal of it. It was a lot of extra work on their part but they worked with me till I was happy. Now we have a wonderful fireplace that is safe to burn, will save us money in the winter on electricity, but is beautiful as well. We have already tested it out several times and have been so pleased with it. I can't thank Kicking Ash enough for their wonderful services, I would recommend them to anyone I know for masonry/fireplace work.

American Made replaced my air conditioning unit. They called before they showed up, completed the repairs and you could not tell they had even been there....except now it is nice and cool in my place. Very professional.

Terrible Service.

I had the entire Heating/Cooling system shut down and tried to schedule with them on a Friday. They were really busy Friday and told me to call back after the weekend to get scheduled for that week.

I called back on Monday, as we discussed, and was told they might be able to schedule me for the following Tuesday. It's ridiculous to expect a customer with no HVAC system to wait over a week to even get their system looked at. They should have just told me when I first called that they were booked up and recommended another business.

Don't Trust This Business.

Had them come out to service my furnace and heat pump for strange clicking noises. He found a wire burnt out and charged $145 for that repair. Noise came back that day. He came out again on that Friday and said a sequencer needed replaced and he’d be back the following Monday. No call, no show. Called in and receptionist said he didn’t get the part until late but didn’t even know if that was the issue but he could come the following week which was way too long to wait. Was told to find someone else. Asked why I wasn’t notified and she didn’t know. Decided to call someone else. They found two more burnt wires and what was causing the issue. I don’t recommend a company who doesn’t know what they’re doing and does no call, no shows. Would be great to be refunded for the charge that didn’t even fix the issue and he missed multiple other problems.
