We hired Speelman Electric to diagnose a power outage issue for us. They effectively communicated with us to let us know when they'd be on the property, and they were always professional. I would recommend Speelman to anyone who wants an honest company that has its customers' best interest in mind at all times.

I have had Speelman at my home a few times to do various things large and small. Every time I have used them I have been taken care of quickly, professionally and the pricing has been more than fair. I'd highly recommend using them for any of your home electric needs.

Speelman is the best electric team in the area. I have tremendous respect for the whole team including Nate and Mike. They have worked on many projects in my home, and they never disappoint. I can really tell they care about their work.

We had our service panel upgraded. Mike was easy to work with and fair with his estimate! Will came out to do the work and he was professional and courteous! We would recommend Speelman Electric to anyone who asks! Quality work, fair price, would use them again!

Very dishonest people! Amateur workers, irresponsible managers, incompetent office representatives, and everything below bad! I would give them zero stars if I could. I will never hired them ever again! Danae lied about the cost to do the extra work in my house. She’s the office rep. She told me the extra work was $88 per hour. In total the extra time it took to complete the work was only 3 hours tops ($259 total) and they wined up charging me $955.00! I call to complain about it and they never picked up nor did they return my voicemails. I had to keep calling them until they reluctantly picked up. Danae argued with me the workers were there for 3 day's (that was their fault, because their workers were stupid amateurs that didn’t know what they were doing. I had to tell them what to fix. They could have finish all the work in one day but they were incompetent in knowing how to do their job right so they had to keep coming back!) she didn’t have an answer for me, and told me she’ll have Mike the manager call me back. When Mike call and I addressed him about the $955 error charged on my bill but he didn’t have an answer and was trying to make up magical numbers of how the added work got to $955. He was full of excuses and irresponsibilities. He said he’ll email my husband the billing charges. Two week later and no email. My husband emailed Danae and she sent the bill. No changes or corrections to the bill. Just pure evil. Don’t hired them. You will regret it!

Really was interested in using this successful local company. I had an estimator out and got a quote. I wanted to ask a few questions about the quote and left two separate voicemails two days apart and never got a call back. It’s been ten days since the last call. So, I had to go with someone else. I’m sure this was an accident, but I can’t help but think that I’d have gotten better service if I had a bigger job. Wish they would have told me up front I wasn’t worth their time.

Was good service! Will was great! I had two concerns with an issue with the timing of them coming, but that did not make a big deal! I was more happy for them to be so accommodating and coming the same day I called! Secondly, I had no issues with the cost behind the service but there was some lacking communication in transparency between the lady who told me the pricing when I called in to Will who came and preformed the service! They were great at being accommodating to working on our camper, which is our house! Will use again!

The receptionist who answers the phone for the Residential department Danae or Dene, how ever you spell it. Has TERRIBLE customer service and a condescending attitude. I pay full rent where I live. The landlord contracted with them to fix an electrical issue in the home. The power was randomly going in and out. My appliances were not working as well. I work from home so I need power to work properly for that too. I was told someone would reach out and keep me updated on a time their electricians would be here, so that I could make proper arrangements for work and care for my children. No one ever called me to notify me of the date and time. I called to find out time they would be there. I was told that I needed to be there so the electricians could get access to the inside of the home. She proceeds to say, “They will be there at some point today”. I let her know that answer was really unprofessional, and vague. I needed to know when they would be here because I was advised that the power would be completely out while they are working on the house. I found out last minute that they are anticipated to spend 4-5 hours working and my electric will be out for a good part of the day. I don’t understand why it was SO HARD for her to communicate such simple information. This is information I should have known well before hand so I could have been properly prepared. Then to be upset that I am asking to be provided this information is crazy work. When I do become a homeowner, because I WILL. I will never use this company for their services if thats how receptionists are allowed to deal with people. It shows whats allowed as far as company moralities because I’m sure she’s been here a long time and her behavior has not been corrected. I know this is confirmed about her because there is another google review from someone a year ago who dealt with her and they said the same thing about her attitude and demeanor.

We could not be happier with the work Speelman Electric did. Our project once started became more challenging than anticipated. Mike and the staff from Speelman stuck with it and the final result was amazing.
I had an aerial electrical drop that I wanted moved underground providing better esthetics for my home.

I called Spielman to have them come out and take a look, but a switch that wasn’t functioning for my outdoor lighting. The electrician arrived was very personable and said there was a break in the wiring. It would be very difficult to try to trace and find where the brake was I told him disconnect the switch and that would be fine. He was here may be a total of 40 minutes and charged me $328. I think the price is quite high for what he Did.

Replaced two bathroom exhaust fans we supplied in about an hour after we were quoted $1200 and 4-5 hours by Ott electric a week earlier. Very professional and fast. Very happy with the service and appreciate a company who isn't trying to rip people off! Use Speelman for all of your needs they are honest and reliable.

Great customer service, right from completing their online request for service form. I received a return email within hours from Danae offering a tech to come to my home the next day. They sent David to my home, he was on time, he was very professional, and he assessed and fixed the electrical issue within just a few minutes. David explained everything to me and he even offered advise for future updates we might need. Pricing is very reasonable. I can't say enough good things about my first experience with Speelman Electric, and I will definitely call on them again when needed. I highly recommend this company!

Hired Speelman Electric to disconnect an old junction panel hidden between 2 walls and wire our bathroom. Jake & Reese came out and did an absolutely great job of wiring new junction boxes and wiring the bathroom. Absolutely recommend Speelman. Professional and courteous.

Speelman has been our go-to electric service since we have moved in, and of all of the vendors I have worked with from all various specialties, Speelman has been the best. Specifically, Eric has been a pleasure to work with. He works very diligently and is nothing but pleasant and hard working. He knows we have children and new carpet so he is very consistent about how he operates in the house so as not to be disruptive or dirty. He also has consistently cleaned up after the work. I hope he continues to be our technician for as long as he is around (give him a raise!!).
