Not very good, staff was slow and you actually had to chase them down to ask them a question about something they wouldn't offer any support, like cutting teeth the two gentlemen in lawn and garden Were very helpful though.

A very nice employee loaded sixteen bags of landscape rock into our car. He was funny too. The price was good too.

We had John and his crews remodeled our bathroom and we loved what they’ve done and would recommend and have Handy Hubby do other jobs again in the future. John made everything clear and very professional since the beginning. His crews (Jack and everyone) are polite and always on time and really work to get things done. Once they started, they’re very fast and clean. Thank you so much.

I have used Handy Hubby for multiple projects since 2013 when they added a bathroom in my upstairs and remodeled the one downstairs, just recently in June 2017 doing a partial remodel of my kitchen with a few smaller projects in between. John and his crew are fantastic. The work has always been beautiful, response time great and if I have any complaint no matter how minor it has been address to my satisfaction and all work has been done a very fair price . I would highly recommend Handy Hubby and have to friends and family!

Handy Hubby did a great job! John, Jack and Rob were great to work with. They took out kneel walls to a sunken living room, remodeled my bathroom and put in a beautiful porcelain tile shower and installed my great luxury vinyl flooring. They did a great job. Eric, Julian and Chris did a fine job for us. Porch & garage repairs, plumbing were all handled well. The most impressive work was milling and refinishing our massive butcher block- it looks fantastic in our kitchen!

Handy Hubby has done a number of home improvement projects on our house. The latest home project has been putting in a deck in our back yard, clearing away brush for landscaping, building a wooden walkway to our back yard, building wooden planters in our front yard, and putting new siding on our house. For all of the work they have done for us my wife and I could not be more pleased with the quality of their work and their reliability in getting the job done when they said it was going to be done. We strongly recommend this company for home improvement projects!!!

Handy Hubby (John) was fantastic to work with. He took care of details on our large kitchen remodel. He stayed in touch through out the entire project, was timely, and the craftsmanship was top notch. He even came back to make a few changes after fully paid and the project was complete. I would use him and his crew's again and recommend to anyone looking to do some home improvements. Awesome contractor!

Had a door rehung and aligned and a new storm door installed. They are booked up and it took a month for the actual work but man it is worth the wait. The estimate was spot on and very reasonable. The workers were on time and very professional. The storm door they brought was perfect and everything was sealed up very nicely. Thank You so much! I can't wait to use you guys again. Me and the wife have been making a list of other projects we need done. We'll be in touch soon. I highly recommend this contractor.

They did a great job on the flooring. I had some concerns about the work done to the outside of the house and they did send someone back out (I wasn’t able to be there in person at the time but had sent pictures). When it was all said and done, the work done on the outside of the house left a lot to be desired.

Handy Hubby Toledo recently completed remodeling our master bathroom. The process from the first day we met John, the owner, to the day our project was completed was incredibly satisfying. John frequently came by to check on everything and to see if we had any questions or concerns with how things were progressing. I was also impressed with the way the workers and subs took great care of our home while they worked.
We dealt primarily with Rob who tiled the shower and painted the walls. He is dependable, trustworthy and took great pride in his work- a real professional!
My husband and I highly recommend Handy Hubby and will definitely use them for future projects!

Handy Hubby did an incredible job transforming our new house into our dream home. From the first meeting, Carmine was honest and realistic about how achievable our goals were and immediately offered alternative ideas and solutions to issues we didn't even realize were there. Foremost was making the house wheelchair accessable and multiple dog resistant. Communication was constant and clear- impressive, given that we were still in the process of packing up and moving half of our household from across the country. The crew was upfront about what would be the best use of our time and budget and referred us to a range of terrific vendors who provided services in cooperation with Handy Hubby. The office staff were friendly, accommodating, and patient with scheduling needs . When we started the move in, the courteous and incredibly good-natured crew provided encouragement and advice as we took on DIY projects to put our finishing touches in the space even as they returned several times to get the smallest part of their work the way we preferred. It means so much to our household to be starting off life in this house supported by the great work and positive energy that Handy Hubby brought to the project.

The team finished my basement and did a great job. I would highly recommend. Very easy to work with, great communication, very very clean. I am already planning to use them again in the future.

Update 5/2022-The team finished a second project for me in my home office of adding some wall art along with painting and hardwood floor install. They again did a great job and will be hiring for future projects. O

I used Handy Hubby Remodeling to do a complete remodel of my unfinished basement. The work included framing, drywall, flooring, installation of a full bathroom, kitchen cabinets and electrical. They use a certified/licensed plumber & electrician. They worked with me on my floor plan and the flooring contractor I wanted to use. From beginning to end, this was the best contractor experience I've ever had. The owner - thorough overview of the contract, great communication, very responsive. The crew (Jack, Joe, Brandon, Carlos) - polite, clean, communicative, quality work and on time. I also found out that they have a handyman service (Rapid Response) and will plan to use them for the minor things I need to have done (small installation projects, quick fixes, etc.). I highly recommend Handy Hubby Remodeling !

Handy Hubby remodeled our formal dining room by replacing the carpet with tiles. They were extremely professional, respectful, kind and very thorough in their job. Their tile guy Jack is an expert at his job. He completed the tile work on time and now our dining room looks flawless. A big thank you to John and Jack for being so helpful with everything. I will definitely use the services of Handy Hubby again and will recommend them to all my friends. So happy with the fantastic results! 😃😃

With so many bad contractors out there, just finding someone who will show up on time and do the work right can be a challenge. Handy Hubby went far beyond that. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

My wife and I originally contacted Handy Hubby to replace an old, cracked soil pipe and remove and reinstall drywall as necessary to complete the job. Midway through the project, my wife and I decided it was time to pull the trigger on adding the second bathroom we'd been talking about. The layout of our house presented some major challenges, but John and his crew worked tirelessly to draft a workable plan, and clearly and patiently communicated with us every step of the way.

They managed to execute our bathroom renovation, which normally would have been scheduled months in advance, on top of an already-full schedule in a matter of weeks. As the renovation was in progress, John patiently helped us identify the fixtures and materials that would work best for our space. When we ordered bathroom faucets that weren't compatible with the unusual dimensions of the vanities we ordered, John took the initiative and searched until he found faucets that fit. He and all the other workers were incredibly respectful, professional and friendly while in our home. The end result is nothing short of fantastic.

John and his team at Handy Hubby are more than good contractors. They're craftsman with integrity and a commitment to quality and service far beyond the expected or required.

My wife and I are blown away by the service and support we received from Handy Hubby, and they'll be the first company we call next time we need any work done on our home.

My wife and I have been in our home for nearly 42 years and felt that it was time for us to remodel. We reached out to several remodelers but after some quotes from contractors we decided on Handy Hubby. We liked Handy Hubby for several reasons. First John Boothe, the owner of Handy Hubby, was able to arrange all the work so that we had no need for separate contractors for painting or carpeting. Next, John spent a lot of time helping us plan our remodel. And after our plan was in place John's guys, Jack, Danny and the other guy, started on our kitchen. All of the workers conducted themselves in a professional manner. As the work progressed, my wife and I could clearly see that our living room, and bathroom needed some work also. John was patient and understanding with our added request and fitted our needs into the plan. At every step of the remodel process John communicated clearly and honestly with us. With the work now finished we are very pleased with how everything turned out. We very much enjoy the comfort and convenience of our new home. When we need further work done we will call Handy Hubby. This company has professional, hard working, honest employees that can be trusted to meet your remodeling needs.

Just completed the 2nd bath remodel. This one required meticulous planning to preserve the 80 year old glass tile. Joe is a master carpenter whose ethics demonstrate great attention to detail and client satisfaction.
John remains ever attentive to his clients' needs and expectations. His design skills are amazing.
I highly recommend this company for any, large or small, construction project.

I cannot say enough good things about Handy Hubby.
They just completed a total bath renovation for me and the result has far exceeded my expectations. The small, full bath is exquisitely charming and is a lovely enhancement to my home.
Remodeling can seem tedious, but all of the employees were courteous and efficient and very easy to have in my home.

Handy Hubby came out to install shower doors for me. They were right on time, respectful of the property and cleaned up everything before they left. The shower doors look beautiful and were professionally done. I'm so impressed and will be using them in the future.
