We lost power on Saturday night and Ian, the service tech was wonderful when he came out. Our installers today, Tyler and Jacob were wonderful too! Clean, polite and informative about their work. I had a wonderful experience with Rick's and would recommend to anyone.

Ted and Bryce were very professional and courteous. Ted all my questions and concerns I had about operating and maintenance of my new Coleman HVAC. It's a clean job and they cleaned up after themselves. The temperature in my place was 89 when these guys came over. It's been running for 20 minutes and my temperature is already dropped down to 85 with no humidity. Thank you Ted and Bryce! 👍👌

My furnace died on Saturday the house was below 0. I gave Rick's a call and the had a tech out in 3 hours. Ted Cole the technician from affordable heating & cooling did a great job replacing my mother board. Heat back on asap. Thank you very much. I appreciate your company. I would recommend everyone to use your services.

Best HVAC experience I’ve ever had. The company was quick at responding and quick at sending a tech out. I got Ted Cole who is the only tech I would want back. He was very kind, professional, explained things to me helped ensure I don’t have the same problems in the future and honestly went above and beyond what his job description probably is. Pricing was more than competitive. I would recommend them (and Ted specifically) to anyone in the area 🙏 next time the business I am in charge of has hvac issues I will be calling to see if they do commercial spaces as well 🤞thank you so much Ted I appreciate you more than you can know
Edit: Crew came back out to install a new furnace for me as more issues arrived after control board was installed. The company treated me very fairly giving me a discount for the control board included a good thermostat and capped my chimney for me.
My techs were Dylan, Ruben, Jacob, and Ryland (I hope I have that right) they were extremely polite professional and clean. They apologized profusely for removing a shelf (had to come down for the work I asked for) left the area cleaner than when they arrived tested the furnace showed me how to use the thermostat and were done in around 3 hours. Again best hvac experience I’ve had this really is the best hvac company in the area. Thank you all so much 🙏 -
Ted, Tyler, and Jesse did a phenomenal job! Ted diagnosed that our furnace motor was dead and got us scheduled for asap installation of a new furnace. He also checked in the following day making sure we were staying warm enough. Tyler and Jesse promptly showed up on time and got to business. Installation went smooth and professionally. They even cleaned up the floor and surrounding areas after they were finished. Would highly recommend doing business with Rick’s Affordable Heating & Cooling.

I had some scheduling mishaps, but they did handled it very professionally and when I did a technician out for service he was so great! Jackson explained all that he would need to do and got it done and made sure I knew what he was doing and made sure I didn't have any questions before he left! I would definitely reccomend them!

I don’t think I’d ever recommend this company to anyone.
We got a new mini split with them, because our other mini splits went out due to age. Let me start from the beginning, we had Ted come out and give us an estimate and my husband asked him to confirm, “will it do the same job as our previous system on cooling our home?” Which Ted said “yes you won’t have any issues and it will cool your home just as well as your previous Lennox system did.” We did some research on the brand they put in, and the brand they installed was rated high. So we went with them, thinking it would do the same as our other one. And, we have a bulldog, which is very heat sensitive and we expressed that to them about 20 times.
Fast forward, we get the system, the installers were nice and they didn’t do anything wrong. We turn on the new system, and it BARELY cools the rooms they are in. Let alone our whole living room area, like our other system did and that we were told it would. Also, they gave us the lowest SEER rating system Fujitsu makes which is around 18 Seer. And for the price they charged us, that’s robbery! We were obviously upset because it’s a lot of money and a waste of our time to get this system, so we contact Rick’s again, and they come back out and say, “everything’s good!”. I mean, it would be if we were told the correct information, and if our system worked the same as our previous.
Again, we were very upset because on a 70 degree day it got up to 73-74 in our home, which makes zero sense considering we just got a brand new mini split system that should cool our home. So what does that mean? On a 90° day is it just going to stay hot in our house? Weird…
At this point I got upset, and wanted to talk to Rick because it felt like we were just being pushed aside.
He came out, and admitted that he put in a SMALLER unit size and that our old system was “against the law” and was oversized for the square footage of our home, which was a lie! Other companies that came out have never said our unit was against the law. And talking to multiple companies recently, they had all said that Ricks could have put the same size in as our previous system which was more BTU’s. Just seems so odd and to make up for THEIR mistakes, and lies we were hoping to get one more unit put on the wall to help cool our home, and the way he wanted to charge us 6k for that is absolutely ridiculous, because they are the one who made the mistake.
Moral of the story is they should’ve have told that us that our old system was “against the law” and they should’ve told us we were going to get smaller units installed. I don’t think the price we had to pay for this job (10k) was fair whatsoever, considering it hardly works. And the owner should have actually fixed his mistake and been honest with us from the get go, but instead wanted to charge us another 6k?
This place should be called Ricks over pricing heating and cooling.
