Tree reviews in Toledo, Ohio

Anthony and his team did a great job for a fair price! I had to get some major branches removed, and I had heard some horror stories on cost from the corporate companies, so when my landscaper recommended Anthony to me, I was thrilled to have a local option. He came the next week and knocked out everything with spectacular cleanup afterwards as well. Five stars all around!

I had Climbing-Spur cut down two trees and cut back another tree that was entangled in the electric wires coming to my house. I am very pleased with the work that they did. Every one of the workers was polite and courteous. The job was done professionally and the clean up was exceptional. They even took down an old fence that was in the way and put it back up when they were done. And the price was very good. If I need anymore work done, this is the company that I will call.

Very professional service. Cleaned everything up and brought attention to other risk factors we hadn't noticed. Showed up on time, did all the work, and left making us happy. Highly recommend

Anthony and his guys did an excellent job removing a dead tree on my property

The owner Anthony and his crew showed up in a timely manner we’re very courteous during the approximate five hours they were here the yard was cleaner after they left and when they got there he executed each line item per contract. Out if the 4 contractors I quoted Climbing Tree Spur was the best price. they trimmed two oak trees a hickory tree and removed a Hawthorne without any cranes or big equipment they did it the old-fashioned way they climbed the tree🤠

Had a medium sized tree removed.
Tight space, they were in and out.
Cleaned up nice.

Reasonably priced, would recommend.

Anthony and his employees did an excellent job cutting down my diseased pine tree and cleaning up EVERYTHING that was left in my yard. My yard never looked so good!!! They were prompt and professional and very easy to work with! Highly recommend Climbing Spur!!

Anthony and his crew did a great job taking down 3 trees around the house . They were respectful of the property. Highly recommend.

I was very disappointed. I wasn't going to do a review, but my neighbors and friends said that I should. My husband was happy to get some trees taken down out back. I was excited to get our driveway and house cleared. We decided to keep more of the wood than originally planned, in part to save money. They used my neighbors driveway and drove through their yard without asking. Left 3 bad ruts in our yard that we are still trying to cover without buying dirt(I think we're going to have to). Started loading the wood that we were going to keep, until I stopped them. I asked when they were going to do the driveway and house and the reply was "we're not doing that". I said it was discussed in the original agreement and I was lead to believe that was included in the estimate. He said no, but we'll do it for another 1400.00. So in the end my driveway and around my house is still a mess, I have deep, wide ruts 3-4 places in my yard and am left all over disappointed.

I had the pleasure of doing business with climbing spur. They showed up gave a very decent quote. Some say too low. I had a small time window to get the work done. They made the time window work. They did a super job. This job was a real nightmare. Thank you climbing spur.

I Needed a large piece lopped off a tree in my yard for a future tree house. Climbing-Spur Tree Service came over and quoted a great price and did a fantastic job! I’m very pleased and will use them again for any tree work we need. Thanks Climbing Spur!!!

Though it was a pretty simple job they handled it and themselves very well. Showed up as stated, earliest side of timeframe they gave me. Communications were very good and prompt. Work was executed with efficiency and effectiveness, understood the task and made adjustments as needed and instructed. Couldn't be more pleased.

We used this company to cut down two very large trees in our woods and cut up two other large trees that had fallen. My initial phone call was returned the same day, and they promptly came out to provide an estimate that was fairly priced.. The work was completed safely just a few days later. Other companies I had left messages for didn’t respond to my message until after Climbing-Spur had completed the job. We will be using them in the future for all our tree service needs.

Climbing Spur Tree Services completely exceeded my expectations!
This crew of 5 showed up and was setup and up in the trees within 30 minutes after close planning together.
Not only did they completely deliver on the quote but they also did a bunch of small necessary trims while they were up there.
I paid extra to have wood removal. They did exceptional work and actually my yard has never looked better.
This company ROCKS!

Five Stars – Highly Recommended!
We couldn’t be happier with the work done by Climbing Spur Tree Service. From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. Anthony, the owner (and his entire team), was incredibly courteous and professional throughout the entire process.

We have about 12 mature oak trees in our yard, and they trimmed every single one to perfection. They also safely removed two diseased trees, including those that were over the house and near powerlines—nothing fazed them. The crew was efficient, skilled, and finished the entire job two days ahead of schedule.

Not only did they do an excellent job, but their price came in lower than the other quotes we received. To top it all off, they left our yard cleaner than when they arrived—truly going above and beyond.

If you’re looking for a reliable, professional, and fairly priced tree service, look no further. We’re extremely satisfied and will definitely be calling them again in the future!

I contacted Anthony who owns the Climbing Spur tree service several weeks ago to remove large oak tree branches that were towering over my roof.
He was so prompt ,courteous and his entire crew were so polite.
He and his crew did an amazing job.
I was very impressed with his new equipment. His crew climbed the trees effortlessly And they were very efficient including the cleanup

I would recommend Anthony 10 out of 10.

You guys did a fantastic job! Very professional and reasonably priced. Did the job efficiently and cleaned the site as you worked. We give you a 5 star rating!

Anthony and his crew tackled two trees in a timely manner working around the clock essentially from sun up to sun down. I had some hazards like a ditch, a leach field and a neighbor who’s particular about their yard; Anthony made sure to adhere to some guidelines I set to avoid those issues. Furthermore, he stump grind the massive front stump and hauled away the clippings/fluff and left a clean job site. He’s well priced and personable; would highly recommend.

They did a great job cutting down our huge maple tree. While they couldn’t get all done in one day to do lighting they can back the next day and finish the job. Total clean up and everything. The price was reasonable. I would recommend to anyone and will definitely use again!

Anthony and his crew were professional, on time, accommodating, and did an excellent job completing all work as discussed. I had a very large, problematic Sycamore tree that was dropping big branches and becoming a risk to my house and property. Even though it was in a tricky spot, they did a great job removing it safely and leaving my yard nice and clean. They also gave me the most reasonable quote out of all the companies I contacted. Thanks to the crew at Climbing-Spur, I no longer have to worry when there’s a windy day. I highly recommend reaching out to this company for any tree services you may need!

Climbing-Spur did such a great job. We had a giant limb fall during a storm around 7:30 pm on a Sunday. We were worried for our safety with the other limbs on the tree, fearing they might fall on our house during the night. They arrived within an hour of our call, gave a reasonable estimate, and returned quickly to take the limbs down in the middle of the night. They were fast, efficient, and cleaned up everything. It gave us such peace of mind knowing the tree wouldn't cause any more damage. Thank you so much for your quick response and the excellent work!! We will definitely be repeat customers and will recommend this company, without a doubt!
