Very professional! Would recommend this company to anyone who is in need. I called late in the evening and the technician was here and fixed my furnace within a couple hours. Was explained my options for my future furnace replacement. Awesome service. 5 stars!!!

I just wanted to thank the technician Nate for his kindness and all the great work he did for us. I needed several services from Thompson Heating and Cooling and I could not be happier I chose them for this work. They explained everything they did ,answered all my questions, called when they were on their way, and even the people answering the telephones were so polite. I want to thank Nate again and I would not hesitate to call them when I need more work done!!!

Called Thompson last Wednesday because I needed furnace repair, and the guy I had been trying to get out for almost 2 weeks was giving me the runaround. They explained that they wouldn't be able to come out that week but put me on the first call today (Monday morning). The tech Tom arrived close to the early time of the waiting window (9-11 am) and diagnosed the problem ( bad igniter) quickly. He had the part on the truck so I didn't have to wait for the part to arrive back from the shop. You can tell they have done this for a while and care about their customers. I won't hesitate to call Thompson again for any future needs.

I was very impressed with the way they handled business. To the person scheduling my appointment, to the men coming out to my home. I had no heat an they came and took care of me same day and got my heat working in no time! The person that came was very polite and helped me understand what the issue was. I will be calling thompson from here on out to take care of my furnace and air conditioning.👍🏽

My A/C motor died on me last week. Nate from Thompson Heating was there within 3 days. He took about 10 mins diagnosing the problem instead of just believing me on the issue (that's a good thing because I'm NOT an expert.) He then agreed that my bearings in my motor were bad. He had a motor in his truck and replaced it within 25 mins. He was extremely polite, professional, and even told me some interesting stories of things he has seen in his years of home visits, all while replacing my motor. Price was reasonable too. I will definitely use them again.

They were absolutely fantastic! Quality equipment with great technicians to install it. They were very courteous on the phone, during the estimation process and through the installation. They did a very neat job. Glad we chose Thompson and would highly recommend them to anyone.

My husband and I were very impressed with the quick, professional, and accurate service that we received today when our furnace went out this cold morning. It was a second opinion after the first well known company informed us that we needed a whole new furnace. Thankfully we did not need it. We were very misinformed and misled. Tim, service tech, was very informative, competent, and efficient in his service at our house. We couldn't be more pleased and appreciative! You have our business when needed in the future and will pass along to all family/friends as well.

Thompson Heating and Cooling was very attentive in our time of need when our furnace failed during one of the coldest days. We called the emergency hotline and within the hour we had Tim Whitlow at our house who assessed the issue and we came to the realization that I needed a new furnace. He provided multiple heaters for our family to keep us warm until he could have guys out to us in the morning to install the new furnace. The recognition of me being a veteran was appreciated and I was given a military discount to help out which in turn I made the decision to upgrade my air conditioning unit as well. The installers both Hank and Dan were very prompt and on time and arrived at my house first thing in the morning ready to go. They placed drop cloths in their walking areas to the furnace to keep my carpets clean and dry. They were professional, kind, and worked in harmony to complete the install successfully. I would highly recommend this company and the installers to anyone needing assistance with their furnace or a replacement and if you are in an emergency situation they were readily available to help. I was impressed to hear from the office the next day after completion to let me know they are going to register my unit.Thank you Thompson Heating and Cooling for exceeding my expectations and being there for myself and family.

This company saved the day for me! I went to another place that was only interested in selling me a whole new furnace and a/c that I wasn’t financially ready for. I was so stressed but thankfully these guys came out and gave a second look. They suggested I get a new furnace as well but let me know I could replace things bit by bit.(I have a very old setup) So I started with my broken a/c unit. The financing plan they offer is great. The techs are friendly and compassionate. They did quality work and explained everything to me along the way. I appreciated that they treated me like a human being and not just another number. I couldn’t recommend them enough. They are incredible! I’m so grateful I gave them a call.

I never write reviews (good or bad), it's not really my thing. However, I have had multiple experiences with Thompson now and, I have nothing but great things to say about how they handled my issues with my Carrier Furnace. I probably did know a little more about my issues than some folks would and, was able to explain what I THOUGHT was wrong and, what I already did to try to fix my issues. That being said, all of the staff I have spoken with on the phone have been professional and, assisted in any way possible to help. Lastly, Nate has been the tech. at my house each time and, he's great at what he does ...even though he's a Browns fan. No need to go with anyone else in the Youngstown area.

Tim was extremely pleasant to work with. I made any emergency call while out of town and themostat stopped working with 90° temperatures back home. Tim took the call and was at my house within the hour of the call. Had the problem fixed within 45 minutes. He explained everything to me in laymans terms so I understood what was wrong. I really appreciate all of his help.

After waiting 36+ hours with no heat, 2 no call, no shows in one day from the contractor our home warranty company scheduled for us with a rude owner who hung up on me... I called Thompson’s to see if they could help.

The lady who answered the phone was so nice. Nate called within minutes and said he’d be here in 30. He arrived on time! He was professional and friendly and was able to fix the problem. He was very informative of everything he was doing. The house was back to being so warm before he could even walk out the door. Thank you to Tim for fixing our furnace so quickly. It was late on a Friday night when our furnace stopped working. Tim was here within an hour and fixed it.

Can’t say enough good things about this place . The person on the phone showed a genuine concern for our issue and got us a technician both times at extremely late notice . The technician was professional and knowledgeable and their prices were very reasonable and fair . The service was just excellent .

I wanted to say thank you to your team! I was scheduled for Nate to come on 5/16 to hook up my AC unit…But my wife has surgery a few weeks ago and the first day home from surgery that weather was hot and sticky.. She said please put the AC on because she was uncomfortable and I told her the AC doesn’t work we have them on the schedule in a few weeks.. So I pick the phone up the next day and call your office at 8:00am to say we needed to move up our schedule appointment. The receptionist was so awesome and said yes let’s get this done asap and within 2 hours Nate shows up and gets the AC hooked up and we were running and the house was cooling! Had a mini split 2head system installed by another company and they could not get it to work correctly. they tried for 4 months, changing parts but still could not get it to work I called Thompson explained what was going on they had no issue with coming out even tho they did not install unit parts would be covered under Warrenty. But I would have to pay for service I thought that was fair enough In just a couple days we were able to get togather ( this is at a hunting cabin so no big rush ) they sent there tech Tim. He was very knowledgeable about mini split systems With in a few hrs had the issue figured out and corrected !!! Install wiring issue. After 4 months system works great. Called due to central air unit blowing warmer air. They were able to get someone out same day! Grateful for that. due to it being 90 degrees with 3 kids during the summer. It was a very pleasant experience from the first call to the end of the process. Everyone was polite, knowledgeable, helpful and professional. They were able to fix the problem during the visit as well!

Very professional company to do business with. Have been a customer for more than 30 years. Just had to replace my original HVAC system. Tim was outstanding to work with and he handled the project from start to completion. A very knowledgeable and thorough individual.

I called yesterday to haveva leak repair in a mini split unit, and at first ggey said they'd be out, call thf office, then called back and asked, is it a self install? I said yes. They replied, sorry if its not one of ours we dont service it. This is bullcrap. You all do thr same job BUT YOUR BIAS CAUSE ITS NOT YOUR PRODUCTS YOU SOLD TO MAKE MONEY OFF OF. Your in a profession to help people, NOT BE BIAS.

Recently I needed an emergency repair for my furnace. I called Thompson Heating and Cooling and it was the best decision I could have made. Danielle answered my call in friendly and courteous manner. HVAC specialist Nate was dispatched to diagnose the issue and arrived to my home in less than 90 minutes. Nate thoroughly explained what needed to be repaired as well as fully servicing my furnace and providing a heating maintenance checklist listing. I highly recommend Thompson for their excellent HVAC services. They are professional, knowledgeable, timely, and very reliable.
