Just attended a porch pine class and it was so fun and simple ! My porch pine turned out beautiful and the staff was so kind and helpful ! The cat and dog are cute to have around too !

I have always done my own mulch and not very well because it always seemed to wash away 😟. I asked Jamie’s for a quote and even though more than expected, I expected a beautifully manicured planting beds around the house.
What I received was anything but beautifully manicured. The edges are choppy at best with uneven lines. The mulch is uneven-super heavy in some areas and light in other areas. I specifically asked that my decorative rocks not be removed or covered and I spent quite a bit of time uncovering rocks (which I had also used to hold back mulch), and uncovering plants. As I dug into the mulch, I uncovered trimmed branches from my Rose of Sharon which had been buried. I had two drainage trenches in two corners of the patio bed meant to keep standing water from accumulating on the patio in heavy rain-these were covered over.
I did not mention to have the two trees or the bed surrounding the mailbox mulched but one tree was mulched and one was not which makes for a lopsided appearance and the mailbox area was mulched.
The privacy hedges were trimmed which was not requested and it will take longer for the privacy to be accomplished.
I am happy that I didn’t have to do the mulch myself this year, however I am spending quite a bit of time and effort cleaning up the areas which are wrong.
Again, I expected a professional, manicured job, but I have done much better myself at way less price! 😞😖

After initially giving 5 stars, once they came out to do the work, after 2 estimate visits and my personally going in to confirm the work and price, halfway through the work they called and told us the quote was wrong and we needed to pay several hundred dollars more to get what was quoted and scheduled. When I questioned why they were now doing a bait and switch , I got an unfriendly reaponae. Then the girl told us Jamie was taking the difference out of her check. While I sympathized and thought that was incredibly cheap and unprofessional, the mistake wasn't ours. After hearing her plight, I offered to compromise and she dismissed the offer. Next thing I knew, they had left and the job was half done. My neighbors had recommended Jamie's, so I was pretty surprised with the whole drama.

We love everyone at Jamie's, and our whole family has been going there for years. They've done some nice upgrades to their new location. They're always so friendly and helpful, and they remember who we are every time we go there. Love that "small town" feel. 😊

I love this place. The associates are so very nice and very knowledgeable. They have some of the neatest and one of a kind plants, flowers and rock. They also do really fun classes and they are very reasonably priced! You have to check this place out!

What a great place to shop for landscaping needs! Gabriel helped me by weighing the rocks I was buying. The gentleman who checked me out was very nice. And thank you to Reading Rock for the referral. They didn’t have what I was looking for and told me the best place to go. I highly recommend this place!

This please is a great retails location. It has a very good variety of plants to choose from. They are about 15% higher in their prices. Black mulch is not the best. I seem to find rocks and shredded plastics in it. This adds to labor cost and lowers overall quality.

My parents wanted boxwood shrubs planted in their front yard. Jamie's did an excellent job of taking care of my parents needs. The plant installers were fantastic as well!! Exceptional service all around! Highly recommended!

I stopped by with my toddlers and every single employee we spoke with was so incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful! It was a delightful experience for the kids and me. The flowers we got look spectacular, as do the pumpkins! Very pleased with my purchase.

Recently purchased a LOT of mulch from Jamie's. They have the best quality mulch in town - at the best prices. I also hired them to lay down approximately 8-9 tons of rock, again - after getting quote from many other local places, Jamie's has the best prices. They do an incredible job. Very thorough, helpful, and professional. The men who came to put the rock down worked very hard and didn't complain once. They made our back yard absolutely beautiful. The front desk staff is very helpful, the quote procedure was hassle free, and no hidden costs. They also explained (after we brought it up) that they do landscape lighting, fencing, stone paving, deck work, and much more. Scheduling another quote appointment soon. Jamie's doesn't ignore you like most companies, and they value your business. Highly recommend.

Their prices are good, their service and staff is excellent, and there is always someone there to assist you. Same day delivery is always a plus and for only $35. They have a huge variety of stones - landscape, fill, edging, walking - to make your garden or landscaping look great. My only complaint is that at times their bush and flower selection is limited, although that may be due to the smaller size of their lot. Still highly recommend Jamie's!

I can't say enough good things about this place and the people. The products are OUTSTANDING! They have veggies, flowers, plants, and mulch that I had bever even seen before. Everything was well taken care of. I even got to meet Jamie, because he approached us to make sure we didn't need any help. Helped me pick out the best mulch for my needs, and pretty much stayed with us our whole visit (without being overbearing) This place is great and I'm so glad I found them from another review on another company's review page. They are high quality, and I was happy to pay a little more for mulch to experience this, and have quality product. They have ranges of costs though fyi to keep you on budget. Nice pricing on plants, flowers, etc. Comparable to everywhere else.

Great staff, excellent service. The guy was super careful filling our trailer and noted that some of the tires on the trailer needed air. He told us to pull up by the compressor at the front of the garden center. When we did, someone was already standing up there waiting to fill up our tires. We greatly appreciate such awesome service! Thanks!

Jamie's is a *Fantastic* establishment. The staff here are very welcoming and know their stuff about plants! They have a huge selection for sale every season - and I love checking out their more exotic & exciting varieties - I know they're always propagating more as well.

I purchased 9 emerald greens and they planted it for me for an extra fee with a one year warranty. They did the job next day! Unfortunately the trees died and did not make it to the next spring. Jamie’s landscaping replaced it with more appropriate type of trees that can survive the location. I appreciate Jamie Parton acknowledging the warranty and stands for his business reputation. I would do business with you again. Thank you.

We hired Jamie's to do a 4x6 area of rock and pebbles for a large barbeque grill. We wanted the rock and pebbles to match an area done by another landscaper. They came out to do the work and everything matched perfectly. The workers were polite, diligent, and hard working. We had them move the large rocks a few times so we could decide how we wanted them positioned. The workers were patient and explained they wouldn't leave until we're happy with the work. A great experience and I personally went to Jamie's after the work was completed to make sure the workers were complimented and management knew.

I cannot speak highly enough about the kindness that my family and I were treated with here. We went for storytime for our little one, but unfortunately they were not able to do storytime on this day. However, they took the time after apologizing profusely and walked her through the garden to help her build her very own planter. Every member of the staff made sure to say hi to her and tell her how pretty her planter was. I can tell you that after spending hours in garden centers with my wife we have never been treated so well or been minded so attentively.
