Solid Ground Construction

I had a tree fall on my detached garage during a storm in June of 2025, and that same tree damaged the back side of my home in the process. Not knowing where to turn, I interviewed four different companies, and I eventually selected John with Solid Ground Construction. I chose SGC for several reasons, but mostly because I believed that they could do the job right and I was able to visit with a current customer of theirs, at her home, and see the work for myself. She was happy with her experience, and the work appeared to be top notch. John, the owner, and the team at SGC, tore down my old garage and built a brand new one. They replaced the roof and the gutters on my home. They replaced some concrete in my driveway by the garage and added a concrete patio in the back of the house. And finally, they repaired the damage to the siding on my home. John is very dedicated to his craft, and he did everything that he could to make me happy. If there was an issue with anything, he took accountability and did what he had to do to make it right. But most of all, I was most pleased with the fact that he helped me navigate the challenges of dealing with my insurance agency. He actually took the time to get on some phone calls with my adjustor and help me get the most out of my claim. So, to sum things up, I would like to end my review with this. If you need something done to your home, I recommend that you give John a call and give him an opportunity to meet with you. If you do, I think that you will discover that SGC is worth taking a chance on.
