Great job! Been working toward a weed-free green lawn and each treatment gets us closer to that goal. We’ve come a long way and I’m very happy with the results.

Through the last couple of years that I have had service with TruGreen the quality of work has gone down significantly. I have seen more weed growth in the past two years than the years prior. The routine fertilizer service I received just two days ago was not what I expected. Apparently it only took TWO narrow parallel passes in both my front yard and back yard which are roughly 3100 sq ft each. Not to mention, the section of lawn on the side of my house was not even considered yet I'm being charged for the full service.

Update: Sales manager reached out to own the mistake and try to make the situation right, FWIW. Adding 1 star for that effort, which I did appreciate. If you’re going to reach out to them, make sure you’re not speaking with a 3rd party call center.

Original Review: I was told that I would only be able to receive a quote with a list of services AFTER I set up a contract with them, but not before. So all you have to do is pay up front for a year and they’ll let you know what’s included after that.

Unfortunately I’m still a customer of Trugreen because I bought the entire year package they offered me. I’ve been a customer since may and I still have nutsedge and crab grass. I’ve brought this issue up several times to the guy that comes out, I’ve e mailed Trugreen with no response. Yet they still call me weekly trying to sell me another service for aphids, ants, and whatever else. Why would I buy another service if they can’t even do the original service I hired them for right? I gave them two stars because they did knock 90% of the weeds down. They still have a long way to go but it seems they don’t care. I’m sure they’ll reply to this review with their automated comment “please e mail us”… well I already did. Trying to not take to reviews to give them a chance to make it right.

Darius did an outstanding job treating my lawn for weeds and fertilizing. He went above and beyond with my requests. I wish to have him return and be a permanent employee to take care of my lawn. Thank you

Everything is good. This guy Medina who posted showing bad lawn pics…. his last year pic is a Lie! That’s not his yard… bare back yard with no tress next to street with public utility buildings… lawn exposed to sun and ground looks like clay… no organic material to support breathing root structure.
His complaint is a lot of bull!

Richard does a great job. He sprayed every square inch of the yard including against the house and the curbs. nothing was left untouched. Product works well and has laminated 90% after just one application for the weeds and it's greened up the lawn.

TruGreen was able to save this yard. (See Before then After photos) The monthly service was performed then the yard, trees & shrubs benefited immensely.

Dequan showed up today and went right to work. I went out and introduced myself and Dequan did an EXCELLENT job of informing me of CARRYING OUT THE SERVICE! what he was doing, what it was for, and what further services he was going to do today. After he concluded his service, he informed what I should do to help take care of my lawn, and what my mowing service should do to help also. Overall, VERY EXCELLENT SERVICE!

TruGreen tech came out to service my neighbor and they parked in front of our driveway when the street was empty. I drive a SUV and was leaving and asked the tech nicely to move his truck so I could leave. He told me to go back in the house and he'd move the truck when he was done spraying the yard. He said his name was Mike. Don't be a Mike.

This is just a great company and iam glad that i went with them. My lawn looked terrible and was full of weeds. TruGreen came out and inspected my yard. They gave me an honest and easy to understand report about my lawns condition. I picked an affordable service( i was surprised at how inexpensive it is to have your lawn treated. and I have been satisfied from the start. They come out perform the treatment and explain what they did. If I'm no one ishome then they leave a detailed report and email me the same report. I will be a life long customer!

Our Technician, Andrew Miller, was professional,very knowledgeable, and courteous. I request him to do my lawn every time!

After my last visit I complained about weak and bald spots in my lawn. TruGreen did a special application and suggested I let the lawn go to seed before mowing. Them weak spots have thickened up and the bald spots are shrinking. I’m very pleased with the results.

So encouraging to have such a conscientious and hard working employee such as Andrew to service my yard.

Andrew came back out to check my lawn for disease and treated my lawn today. He noticed areas of concern on my regular scheduled treatment and advised me to watch for signs that another type of treatment might be needed. When things did not get better I called and he responded
quickly.

Victor was polite and professional, providing the service just as he said he would. He was informative, prompt, and applied the chemical today that he was unable to do on last trip because of unusual equipment issue. I recommend this company and commend this representative!

Dallas grass has grown in my front yard on the north side all season. It is coming from my neighbor’s yard north of my home who also has TruGreen service her yard. In fact it has spread to many areas in her front yard. Please take care of the problem TruGreen.

Paid extra for a consultant to come out with the regular maintenance person and evaluate my lawn. When they came I had bare spots on lawn that I thought was due to the hot weather. They sprayed for weeds and fertilized my lawn. A month later no grass was growing in the areas so I started digging the compacted ground areas and replaced with sod. In the other areas up front I started digging and realized the ground was soft compared to the other area which I thought was odd. Upon further inspection I found numerous grub worms, I started doing a spot checks in other areas and found more grubs worms! I was very dissatisfied they did not even do a core sample when it was my first visit with this company and they missed a huge infestation, I wouldn’t of even known if I didn’t do their job myself and fix my lawn so on top of the money I paid them I had to go out and buy grub poison. Another thing is after they came none of the weeds even died. Yes the grass was greener but that doesn’t really matter when the weeds start abundantly growing as well and do not die. For the 60$ I bought three months worth of weed and weed and insect killer, I ended up spreading my lawn myself and got very quick results just a week later. All in all I’m very dissatisfied with the careless service I feel like they just hurry along and don’t take the time and care that lawn America did when they treated my neighbors lawns before trugreen took over.

Service seems great.
The “international call center” is so bad, that I think I will cancel my $4,000 annual service agreement.
