I wish I could give them less than one star. Definitely not customer service oriented. They broke out a glass on my truck while I was driving by them. And kept trying to refuse to fix the problem that they created. Would never trust a company that cant right their own wrong doing.

We wanted to remove English vines which have overtaken a corner and side of our 20’x33’ yard in addition to removing about five young trees of small diameter. There is a patch of poison ivy and some trash items we wanted removed from our side yard, too. Damon, the tech, was very nice. He sized up the yard and took pictures to submit to his office manager for fast pricing. We heard nothing by phone or email until after the weekend when Damon returned our call to tell us his manager wants to charge us $1,200 and they estimated a need for thirty workers. I was shocked because we don’t live in an expensive market or neighborhood. After a little negotiation we settled on $750 (and probably four workers). Most of the vines can be pulled off the fence and wall but we still need one area of the vine roots cut and dug out and it will require manual labor. He said he would contact his manager right away and let them know we agreed upon a price and the parameters of the job that we discussed. We asked for a confirmation email from the manager stating these agreements. We are still waiting. We selected Thunder Lawn because of their many high ratings but have thus far been confused by them. Unless something else happens I’m giving them a single ⭐️ star. We only want to be dealt with professionally and honestly.
Note: We received a call from the manager who was very nice and apologetic for the delay. They are, apparently, only able to email invoices and give a single line general description of one aspect of the job. I expect that this is fine but would have preferred a bit more detail. I expect they will honor the agreement we made verbally with Damon. I plan to keep this review until the job is complete as it gives the most detail and I plan to honor my side of the verbal agreement by paying the company.
Second Note: My husband paid the service. The crew was very nice. The main issue is that I over-expected the vine removal effort but they did apply quite a bit of vine killer. If you need them to adhere to a schedule you will need to make it in some kind of writing or something.

We had bag worms one year, and the gentleman who came to fertilize told me how to get rid of them and didn't try to upsell anything. They truly care about you and your yard. This company is frustrating!! They do not let you know they’re coming.... which is frustrating if they come a day before the yard crew picking up leaves! This happened again yesterday. Their service was a waste of effort and material.

Brian saved my 15 year old lacebark elm. Another tree service told me it was blight and wanted to remove it. Brian quickly evaluated it for freeze damage and recommended Miracle Gro and water for the stress. He is honorable, reliable and good for your trees! He knows his stuff!

Brian and his sons provide excellent weed and lawn control. If I have a question about a tree, Brian has been very helpful. They are reliable and let you know when they are coming.

You can choose from a menu of services to tailor to your needs and budget. Each application comes with instructions as to what the service was, the chemicals applied, and what I should do/expect. They have always responded quickly to questions and concerns. As an existing customer, I got swift arborist service after the ice storms to care for and clean up my trees and bushes - no waiting in line for other tree service providers! Their prices are competitive. I have always been informed before service when I choose, but enjoy the scheduled services without worry. This family owned business gets a green thumb up for all these reasons!
