This dude is a joke! No show for 3 days with excuse after excuse. He went as far as to tell me to call another company and he would write the claim up!!! Sounds like insurance fraud to me, Geoff. Consumers beware!!

Do NOT use this “company”. The previous review is almost exactly the same experience I had. He showed up four hours late to the first appointment citing car trouble, then eight hours late to the second appointment. He wanted money up front for parts which should’ve been enough red flags stacking up that I should’ve called my home warranty company and requested a different company. Not only that, but I had another company come out and review his work and everything wasn’t even done properly, requiring me to pay even more money. Oh also, there was no receipt or invoice — the guy wanted to be paid through Cashapp. Then, he had the audacity to email me complaining about the bad review I gave him to my home warranty company! So unprofessional.

Crap! Crap! Crap! Called Select Hone Warranty because my dryer was having issues. They arranged for AirSource Mechanical HVAC to come on 3/16/25. Didn't show. No text, no call. I complained to Select and they said they'd be out on 3/18/25. Didn't show. No text. No call. Complained and asked for another vendor. Was told there were no other vendors. Select got AirSource on line who said appt. was really for 3/20/25. Didn't show. No text, no call.

This time I canceled Select as my home warranty, gave above reasons. Spent 40 minutes asking for refund, refusing discounts, apologies. Felt like a time share hard sell.

Finally got a confirmation # and amount to be refunded. Don't expect anything. Lesson learned was not to pay upfront as they said they were taking $75 cancelation fee.

Next day a 'manager' called to fix the problem. Wouldn't take no for an answer.

I finally had to hang up mid sentance.

THEN got a text from AirSource 'confirming' appt. today, 3/25/25, and tech would be here at 1pm and was in route. Got updates and time pushed back. Now will be here at 7pm.

We never asked for nor responded to appt. we didn't set up. Amusing.

Please show up and give us a laugh.

Brother fixed dryer yesterday. Simple fix.

DON'T USE AIRSOURCE OR HOME SELECT WARRANTY..AT YOUR OWN PERIL.

Update: received refund in a timely manner. Only positive.

Update: Airsource contacted me via text and blamed their scheduling system for ALL the issues.

Update 6.5.2025: Airsource Management replied to my review TODAY, 2 1/2 months later (3.25.25), and asked me to contact them via their email and asking me to revise my submitted claim so they could correct the issue.

2.5 months late and $75 short! Issue resolved. Nothing to fix either mechanically or with home warranty/or service company. Had your chance 2.5 months ago.

My top question to a new home warranty company, who are your service companies in the local area? My next question is why do I have to pay a service call fee; why isn't that covered under the home warranty.

AirSource: you may be a good company with good reviews from other customers but this review stands because that is what happened and other customers need to be aware of the possibility. Tighten up how you do business.

    Select Home Warranty: ditto above.

Absolutely, do not use this company! Unfortunately, we happen to come by these guys by chance, and not by actually hiring them directly. We've had so many issues since running into these guys that it's hard to remember at all, but here we go. My heating unit went out and we filed a claim with our home insurance that handles repairs. The current owner of the house lives in Florida and told the company to be in communication with me because I have lived in the home the past 12 years and I'm the one who has info about what is going on and when they can come out. Well, from the very beginning they did not communicate to me whatsoever and kept trying to communicate with the person that doesn't even live in the state. Once they finally decided to take that part seriously they were extremely late to the first appointment. This technician showed up with his dog in his vehicle hours after he was supposed to get there, and during that entire time waiting he had no communication with us and we kept having to call every couple of hours to get updates. He asked to let his dog out, and that was fine, until it found its way into my backyard and then busted through my back window screen into a room full of cats. Then after sitting outside for about 30 to 40 minutes doing paperwork from a previous job he found his way inside and basically kept trying to get me to diagnose the issue with the equipment, and get me to tell him every detail about it without him having to even look at the furnace. I finally told him to go take a look and find out for sure, but I had given him quite a bit of information that I had from previous work experience. This guy was in and out of the house so many times, continued to try to do nothing but talk, and did very little actual inspecting of the machine. After what felt like quite some time He started asking about payments and saying that he was going to need parts and all types of stuff. I directed him on how payment is usually made and he went to go make his calls and whatever else he had to do. We thought he was done and would follow up, but he ended up coming back in and out of the house a number of times, and then eventually left without saying anything. The following day we decided to call the owners of the house to see if they had any more information since we were still in the dark. They said that the night previous the technician had made plans with them to come the next day and do everything, and he had apparently also asked them to order a part on Amazon that would be there. Well the Amazon part showed, which had nothing to do with the explanation I had given him of what was probably wrong with the machine, and we updated the owner of the house to let them know that they could give the guy the green light to head over. He apparently decides he is busy and that he has personal things he needs to take care of. So he tells us that it will be Friday and that in the meantime we can heat our house with our oven and space heaters. Mind you, this guy has already been paid and had us order parts. Well Friday comes and yet again there is silence and now the owner of the property is telling us that this man has no communication with them anymore and they can't get a hold of them. I told the owner that since we had parts sitting here and everyone had already paid to continue to try to get a hold of this guy because we were all stuck in a bad position. All of this started back around December 3rd and this morning, December 15th, I finally looked up the company name and decided to give them a call at 6:00 a.m. Granted, it is a Sunday, And I expected to be leaving a message and hear nothing from them. I end up getting a very familiar voice on the line, the technician that has been ghosting us. So right about this time I am getting the feeling that this company is not an actual company, and it's one guy. So now two weeks later he is telling us that he is going to make time and show up today even though nothing has been approved and he's not sure what's going on. I'm honestly not expecting him to show.

My warranty company sent them because my refrigerator was leaking. He was late and said he needed to order a part and would have it shipped to my house. I never received the part and when I checked the order status it had a complement day of a month later. Thank goodness my refrigerator has stopped leaking but he never followed through and marked the job complete when it wasn’t. I talked to my warranty co and they said the part was approved on their end.

Update: in response to your reply, I DID call my home warranty company and they said the part was approved yet it was never delivered to my home as I was told it would be. Your response does not explain anything, nor does it explain why you closed out the job without it being finished. I did do some “leg work”, as you can see from my original post.

Geoff was adamant about getting his $120 before coming out for two repairs. Once he got here he spent a lot of time tearing up the dryer to come to a final conclusion that we needed to scrap the dryer. Recommend to get another dryer and he'd come back. He did not. I will give him credit for answering his phone. However, he wasted no time telling us our problems were little and he was busy with bigger problems. He never even started on the washer. Looks like he doesn't follow through and this is consistent with other reviews.

If this contractor is assigned to you through Select Home Warranty or referred by anyone, I strongly recommend avoiding him. My experience was extremely disappointing.

He promised the repair would be completed the same day. Instead, he took the $85 diagnostic fee, left immediately for another job, and never returned. Over the next four days, he repeatedly missed scheduled appointments, changed his story, and gave excuse after excuse. I even did all the work with the warranty company to get his approval, but he still didn’t show up—three separate times.

On Saturday, after promising an 8:30 a.m. arrival, he claimed he wouldn’t come because he “hadn’t heard from me,” even though he had already confirmed the appointment. He then demanded full payment before showing up—completely unacceptable after so many no-shows.

My husband, a retired 100% disabled veteran, called to try to resolve things. The contractor promised to come at 10:30. Again—he never showed.

Four days, zero completed work, broken promises, and endless excuses. We finally gave up and bought a new dryer.

This contractor was unreliable, unprofessional, and repeatedly failed to follow through.

One star is too high for this contractor.
