Door to door salesman wouldn't stop knocking on my door while I was trying to work from home. He ignored all the no soliciting signs and was argumentative about getting off my property. Refused to leave until I started shouting at him.

Jessica was very knowledgeable and had answers for every question. The process went smoothly and quickly.

I was a little skeptical about Solar power, but when Tate came by and told us how we could save money a big deal for us, we decided to have a salesman come by. Alex showed up a few days later and we talked a bit and he told us the company is not one to push people into doing something they may not want to do. Alex showed us how we could save money by going solar and I became very interested. He sat and answered every question we had. We let him know that we really couldn't commit right now due to some other obligations, but that we would definitely contact ION and Alex when we could. He understood and we felt very comfortable with him and knowing more about the product. If all the employees are this nice and the fact that they don't push like your other companies we give these guys five stars. Hope to do business with them in the near future.

This has been an awesome process so far. I especially liked the no pressure sales and walking me though each step. ION has done a great job of keeping in touch with me.

We have had a wonderful experience with Ion Solar! Our Energy Advisor, Mike Anderton, was very thorough in his explanation of the benefits and costs of having solar panels installed, and has been so helpful throughout our entire process. Ion took care of the whole approval process, including having our HOA approve the installation. And the installation itself went very smoothly - the panels look great! We would highly recommend Ion Solar to anyone thinking about having solar panels installed.

We had a wonderful experience with Ion. Firstly, Seth did a great job explaining how solar would work for us. There was no hard sales pitch, just the facts. We appreciated his honesty and integrity. Since we had already done some research, we felt that this company was right for us.
The rest of the project was handled entirely by Ion, including dealing with the HOA, the electric company and the County. Our solar panels were installed last week by a great team. They ran the electrical through the attic so the outside of the house looks neat. We are awaiting inspection and look forward to going solar. Thank you Ion!

About 2 weeks ago I had an unpleasant experience with one of the phone customer service agent about an astronomical utility bill I received after my panels were installed. I left a negative review, email and voicemail regarding the matter, with no expectation of someone contacting me. Fortunately, the manager Kolton, called me the very next day to apologize for the poor customer service and to discuss the issue. Kolton maintained constant contact with me until the issue was resolved, which was later ascertained that the problem was not caused by ION panels but by the utility company. I'm writing this review to let future customers know that even if they encounter an unprofessional customer service agent, the managers will graciously and immediately make contact to resolve any conflicts.

The salesperson who came to my house became argumentative when I asked him to leave the premises without a permit to go door-to-door in my city. He came back after our discussion seemingly taunting me from his car. I tried calling me and politely at first to get him to leave but he would not listen.

I couldn't be more pleased with my experience with ION Solar. Wate, has been particularly helpful throughout the process, but everyone that I've been in contact with has been incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The whole process has been seamless and the solar panels look beautiful on my home. I am very happy that i made the decision to go with ION.

This experience has been outstanding, I was originally hesitate to get Solar panels, but Paola set my mind at ease. Paola showed excellent customer service skill and knowledge about the product answering all of my questions, some even before I asked. I must say that she could be the face of the company after seeing the way she represents Ion Solar. If once everything is up and running it's as impressive as my experience so far I will definitely be letting everyone I know to also move forward with Ion Solar.

The process of getting solar installed went very smoothly and relatively fast. Ion Solar did a very good job with communicating between the different steps and milestones of the process. Michael Carranza was a big help as our sales rep during the process. He was very knowledgeable and quick to respond to questions that I had. I recommend Ion Solar to anyone thinking of supplementing their home energy with solar.

This was probably one of the worst purchases we ever made. We expressed that buying Solar wouldn't be anything we're really into because we plan to sell soon, but the sales agent swore up and down that transferring to a new seller would be smooth. That solar adds "amazing" resale value. LIES. This has been the BIGGEST headache for our family with having to come up with 10k+ to reach a target balance IN ORDER to even begin transferring to the new home owner? And that's IF they qualify. If they don't, then in order to fully sell we have to come up with 30k+ OUT OF POCKET same day of closing. This is crazy and was never explained EVEN after we had multiple questions about it with our sales rep. He knew we were planning to sell because he even offered to try and be our realtor (we already had one). Glad we didn't do that either.

My husband and I really had no idea how solar worked but we were interested in finding out if it was right for us and our family ❤️ Dane Allard Ohio sales manager came to our home and he was immediately family. His warm smile and personality really gave us the comfort the ION solar was the company for us. He walked us through the process step by step and was always available when we had questions about anything. My experience with Ion Solar have been very positive from the very beginning. They have answered all of my questions, they have been very Informative, and have had great communication with me. The day of install was a breeze. The crew that did my Install were great. They were very professional! No complaints and so far I am a happy camper.

Wonderful team all the way through. From Harper (my door to door guy) to the installation crew (too many names to list) everyone was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. They made sure to do all the heavy lifting on paperwork allowing me to continue leading a normal life while getting things set up. Very excited to watch this system go over the years.

Edit: I maintain that the team members are all professional and kind. However, the system (especially scheduling) is atrocious. With the installation process there have been some wiring problems leading some main household appliances to not function. Trying to get issues fixed is consistently a multi week issue. Admittedly this is compounded by the fact I work a full time job.

I give 5 stars to the team that went to install the panels. They were very professional, they did a good job, they were friendly. In general, the entire ION Solar service has been very professional.
