Well I wished I had read the reviews when my warranty company said they were sending them. It’s been almost 2 wks and they say they are coming the next day every day. They still have not shown up and I still do not have plumbing. Liars! Terrible company. When you say you are going to show up from 8-12 on Friday show the hell up! I think they are a racket. Select home warranty needs to drop them! Do not use this company!

DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Home warranty made us use this company and they are the absolute worst! I took off work and they no-showed twice and were 30 minutes late to their 10-2pm window on the third day. Looked at stove and said it was an "electrical issue" and left. We hired an electrician, $150 later, the electrician said electrical was fine that it had to be an issue with the stove and it was ludicrous that this company thought otherwise. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!

Utilized for my home warranty plumbing issue and Jerome was GREAT! Not only did he assess the issue swiftly, but solved it just as quick. Jerome was able to communicate throughout the process with part acquisition in addition to educating me about the issue

We were contracted through our home warranty. Work was not up to code. A non-GFCI breaker was installed for a dishwasher/disposal breaker. When I notified XJC I was told the breaker would be replaced and the follow up work was never completed.

My home warranty set up the appointment and on the day of no one showed up. I called them an hour after my appointed time and they tried to reschedule the following Monday. Monday came and the contractors never showed up. Not sure how these people are still in business after reading all the reviews. Any home warranty companies reading this please don't use these guys.

I cannot say enough good things about XJC Contractors. I have had to use them a few times and they are amazing! They do quality work and take the time to talk about what they are doing and why. I highly recommend them.

Hot water heater not working. He made an attempt to fix it to keep me from having to pay for labor and materials to replace the hot water heater. He was very responsive about scheduling and was on time. In addition, he tried to keep the expense as low as possible. Returned immediately when hot water heater didn’t stay fixed. He gave information and recommendations quickly to help get my hot water heater replaced quickly! I would recommend working with them again!

Home warranty company contracted with them for dishwasher repair I submitted. They scheduled an appointment for the next Saturday between noon - 2:00. No one showed up or called to cancel or reschedule. When I called got office recorded message. Called Monday AM. receptionist answered and said she would call me back. No call back by Tuesday AM so called home warranty company. They informed me an appointment was scheduled for Wednesday 12 - 2. They never called to schedule this, they just made it. Now almost noon on Wednesday. No call back from my request for confirmation this morning.

Would give zero or negative stars if I could. Xavier should not be in business based on the lack of respect for his customer. Held my warranty repair part hostage for two months and will not come install it. Scheduled 4-5 times and always a no-show. Horrible communication or rather no communication. He would just not show up. Ian now calling daily begging for him to give me the part so I can pay someone else to install. Still waiting as of today for the part to fix my oven.

I wish I could give a lower rating. My home warranty uses this company. Horrible service. I had to call my home warranty ppl to just get a hold of them multiple times. Not to mention first service they were over an hour and a half late. They also no called no showed to 4 appointments causing me to not only to miss work, they would schedule all the appointments to there conscience. They have held my part hostage for 10 days now and it's been almost 3 weeks no dishwasher. How are they in business.

I have never worked with a worse company. They lie. They don't show up. They have no respect for your time. They don't answer the phone. They dont bring proper tools for the job. Asked us to borrow a screw driver. We were assigned these guys through our home warrant people. Never again!

Update. After posting the review, this company sent a harrassing text telling us what we didn't say about how they saved us money and stuff. They wasted my time, which is more precious than money in this instance.

the technician was nice, but it is hard to get in touch with anyone. my total fridge wasn't check the first time and i have to pay the warranty for an extra part to get my fridge fixed. I an knocking on having my fridge out for a full 2 months now and I am still trying to reach someone at this company to fix my fridge.

So much I could say about this company but I will leave it short and to the point. Liars, not plumbers or close to it! You will be rescheduled numerous times with no call and no show. Very unprofessional all the way around. Spend the extra money and avoid this company at all cost. You will probably save money in the long run on having someone do it right to begin with. If home warranty sends them out ask for somebody else.

My home owner insurance sent these guys out for a Washer Machine suspension repair. After a couple of weeks I was having the same problem. So, I decided to do the repair myself. Ordered my new OEM parts to do repair. These knuckle heads did not ever repair my washer. They cut some of my weed eater line, IN MY GARAGE and tied the suspension springs to the bottom of the washer. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY FOR NOTHING

Would rate ZERO if I could. They were contracted by our home warranty company to come repair our clothes washer. We were given a time of arrival between 8 and 4 as he wasn’t here, we called the tech who said he was running 30 minutes late. However, he was No Call, No Show. The next day we got an email stating they should arrive between 4pm to 8 pm. A second time No Call, No Show.

WISH I could of gave them no stars. I would never do business with this company Again. No communication at all especially how they give you a time slot but will come before the time slot. Don't explain anything but take your money!! The techs tell you differently vs the owner name Xavier. They knew my refrigerator was a bust…been here three times and paid a fee everytime! The worst part is that I was charged and they order the wrong part and they knew they couldn't fix it but scammed me. Never Again!!!! ALSO what businesses is allowed to have there wife in the car while working that's some weird creepy mess.UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!! PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM SELECT WARRANTY AS WELL!! I've learned a valuable lesson.

The owner of this company flat out lied to me on the phone. I was supposed to have a an appointment between four and 8 o’clock in the evening. Little bit before seven I called and he said he would get a hold of the technician and see where he was at. After about 45 minutes of not hearing anything, I called back. He said the technician was supposed to call me, but didn’t. The technician finally called me back and said he had no intentions on
being here tonight. He said his boss never
gave him The notice to be here. I called back and cussed out the owner, and he cussed me out in the process, Understandable. Then the owner told me he never got the work order But he already let me know earlier on my first phone call of what the problem was. Horrible, horrible company. Do not rely on them. I’ve been self-employed for over 30 years and have never treated a customer like they’ve treated me. If you hire them, good luck.

Had a service appointment through my home warranty company.

Technician Xavier responded well initially and ghosted me after inquiring as to when he would show up for a scheduled appointment. Appointment time kept changing in the app without my knowledge. On 2/13/25 I reached back out at 6pm to ask if the service was still planned and received a response of "yes" I asked what time and was ghosted by the technician. They never responded or reached back out to schedule another appointment. I was less than pleased with the level of professionalism and consideration for the customer.

Update:

Xavier reached back out on 2/28/25 to explain he had technical issues with his portal. We schedule another appt from 3:30-4 and he was a no call, no show.

On 3/3/25 Xavier text me out of the blue to confirm my address and told me he was on his way. 45 mins later at 3:08pm he sent me a message stating I am farther out than he thought and he canceled the appointment.

It's currently 3/6/25 nearly a month after the submission of my service ticket and still have yet to actually recieve service and my washers still down.

Do NOT trust these guys, they are complete scam. Came out to fix stove, blamed electrical was the issue. Came out several times completely unprepared, I offered to allow them to use some supplies and tools I had if he compensated me for it. He agreed to pay $100 for wire I had laying around. He stole the wire as I have never received compensation for it. I had to watch him like a hawk as he was clueless about electrical work. He attempted to hide connections in walls and attic without junction boxes, use a 50 amp (2 phase for 115V application) circuit breaker on 12 gauge wire (he said it was fine, the wire was good for 120 amps), and leave excess wire coiled in attic. If you trusted these guys doing any wiring, be very afraid. After several trips here, he claimed he was done. I still have holes in my walls, an unsecured junction box, and wires exposed out the back of it. Oh yeah, and my stove is still inoperative. 3 months and counting. See photos of "finished" work. He threatened to put a lean on my property because I would not agree this is evidence of a finished job.

I'm here to tell you to stay away from this company. I never would have hired them on my own, but my home warranty company (who I'll be dropping after this experience) contracted them to come fix my plumbing issue.

When the guy stopped by my mailbox, I thought he was lost. I never dreamed a reputable repairman would pull up in a wrecked car, wearing a backward cap and a sleeveless t-shirt, with no business card on him to show what company he's with.
