Shelby is kind and efficient. Her quality of work is great! She executes w/ attention to detail, easily recalls unique preferences specific to our home, and always asks if there is any area requiring extra care.

Blue Jay has provided our weekly house cleaning for over 2 years. They have been consistent and reliable the entire time and I don’t know what we’d do without them! They have never missed a clean and do an outstanding job every week! I truly appreciate their communication method that includes a notification when your housekeeper is coming as well as a notification when the cleaning is complete. I highly recommend Blue Jay!

At first, they were professional, on time, easy to work with, and they did a great job helping me with my Airbnb.

Then the problems started. Not sending pictures as agreed to, needed at least a week’s notice to schedule cleanings, limited capacity on busy weekends, and finally they started bailing on cleanings with short (sometimes 24 hours!) notice.

I get staffing issues, but things came to a boiling point when we had a cleaning scheduled and the cleaner showed up at 1:00 pm (guest checks in at 4pm), then complained that they were unable to finish because “the dryer isn’t working.”

After a conversation with the owner, I was told I wasn’t a good host or Airbnb community member because I was “blaming the cleaner” for “faulty appliances.” And then the owner said she would not be doing business with me.

Ok, but, the appliance repairman who came by the next day said the dryer works fine, it was overloaded “like someone was rushing to wash THREE SETS of sheets in ONE load!”

If you’re looking for a cleaning service in the Tulsa area for your family, maybe Blue Jay can hack it, but if you’re running a business, STAY AWAY.

We hired Blue Jay Cleaning Services for move-in cleaning services. We experienced a slight delay due to the sellers of our house not moving out on time, but we provided a generous tip to the team up front to compensate for the slight inconvenience they experienced. Unfortunately, we've found that several areas were missed entirely. When I reached out to the manager, I was told that nothing could be done since I had scheduled the cleaning for later in the day, and they weren't able to complete the full service. I informed the manager of our situation in advance, and she said it would be possible to complete the cleaning in the time provided. If this was not the case (as it turned out), I would have appreciated the manager communicating that clearly so I could hire a different provider that could accommodate our situation.

I recently booked some cleaning with Blue Jay Cleaning Services which was awful! I explained the details of what I need to be cleaned on the phone, even the number of windows and doors, rooms, the detail of why I am cleaning the house, I double check the day and time with them and paid. Then, on the day and time the cleaners they send came in and took a couple of pictures of my house ( the house was empty and I was cleaning it to move in). She said "I am going to make a phone call." I waited for her for a while and then I checked the drive way and noticed she left! without even saying a word! Later they told me she felt the job would take longer than she expected! She did not even bother to tell me that she was leaving and not anyone from the company bothered to inform me until I called them. They agreed to send a replacement and by the time the replacements arrived it was almost four hours passed the original arranged time! As I said I was moving in and planned for moving company and everything and the stress the company gave me was really unbearable! The following day the company called me and asked to pay for the remaining fee! They said they are aware what happened and sorry about it! That's it. The 1 star I gave them is because of their office worker who was available on Saturday and tried to find the replacements. The quality of their work is also just fine.

Response to the owner's accusation:
The property is located in Oshawa and the service was schuled for past Satuarday, April 6th for 9 am. I do not want to be mean by adding your cleaners name, just to know that it begins with V. In regard of me never being your client, I have enough proofs of being your suffered client : how about emails, messages, phone calls between me and your company? or on top of that I have two payments to you via etransfers. Stop acusing me and work on your customer service skills.I can attach all proofs screenshots here if you want me.

I have so many good things to say about this company! They communicate so well and show up on time. That alone is rare! Our cleaner Amy clearly takes pride in her work, and went above and beyond to make our home sparkle. I’ve had several cleaners in Tulsa and no one even comes close to Blue Jay! They are the best!!

Brook and Lori did a fantastic job. I am so glad I contacted Blue Jay Cleaning Service. I loved them, and so did my pets. Can’t wait to use them again. Thanks ladies for a job well done. I love the system they have set up that lets you know when they are on their way, or that they are done, and to be able to pay online is even better. Thanks so much!

Sarah from Blue Jay cleans our house every two weeks and does a phenomenal job! She does great with our dogs too so that’s a big bonus knowing that they and she are safe when she enters the house while we’re gone. She also cleans our short-term rental property, which can sometimes be very short notice and has never failed on fitting it into her schedule. I highly recommend Blue Jay if you’re looking for a cleaning service.

I opted for a deep clean and the service was excellent. They took the whole refrigerator apart and cleaned it (which would have taken me an entire afternoon), did inside the oven, baseboards, all the things that don't normally get cleaned around my house. Stephanie communicated really well beforehand and the Cleaning Techs showed up right on time. I will definitely be using them again, as well as referring to my friends and clients. As a REALTOR, I get bids for cleaning homes all the time and BlueJay's price was very competitive.

Absolutely AMAZING!!!!! We recently made the switch to them from Happy Cleans and they've come in and done a great more in-depth job. And everyone was so polite :)

Update: our house literally glistens after every visit. I can not recommend them enough. Such amazing service.

Had clean sheets on the nightstand next to bed, but they didn't put them on the bed

ETA: Contacted by Sarah at Blue Jay. Cleaner was new and said she was confused as bed was neat. It was as I left it when I got up (not neat). She's apologized, offered to come make up the bed (I already did that) and to discount the service.

I came across Blue Jay at the home show this year. Everyone I have spoken to has been kind and professional. They scheduled my first deep clean promptly and followed up very well. My house is sparkling! The team did a thorough job and completed all of the tasks that I requested. 10/10 would recommend.

High hopes, but disappointed. Previously I had two ladies for 4 hours cleaning every other week. When I contacted Blue Jay Cleaning, I was informed one cleaner could actually do my house in 5 hrs- but the exact same price. Soon, it was just 4 hrs of cleaning, and even 3 1/2 hrs a few times when the cleaner would announce “all done.” I brought concerns (sent pictures) to the owner of dusting not being done repeatedly - tops of cabinets, rails on stairway, windowsills,etc... and that I was having to remind the cleaner what she missed each time. Micromanaging. But the response, after having to contact her using several ways and not hearing from her for about a week, was that the cleaner was not using the right cleaning products - no apology and then no follow up in getting back to me to see if things had improved. MY mistakes- believing the owner that a cleaner could do the same quality of cleaning in 4-5 hrs that a crew of two could do in 4 hrs & agreeing to pay the same price. I don’t like micromanaging, I'm not happy with a dusty house, & the customer service was lacking, IMO.

Shelby with Blue Jay Cleaning Services did an amazing job today. She worked diligently, truly took care in cleaning the places I miss, and worked so hard all morning. And my house finally looks clean for a minute!!!♡♡

This is the second time this company has stolen from my house. The first time was a year ago they replaced the items and so I gave them a second try, all was good when I had the same cleaner. I got a new house cleaner and they missed a whole bathroom, did not sweep or mop. Had another cleaner come and I had items missing from my house. I called to complain and was told “no one opens drawers and if it’s missing, then you probably misplaced it”. Lack of professionalism and accountability. I was a client for over 2 years, there have been some mistakes but nothing major that I needed to find something else, but this is ridiculous and I would not make up something like theft. Absolutely horrible.
They always say the rotate cleaning to get different parts of the house every cleaning but that NEVER gets done. Keep your money and go elsewhere.
