Beautiful place. I was pleasantly surprised that they had a whole section of pet-safe house plants, which is exactly what I'd been looking for. I did have a bit of sticker shock that two medium plants without pots was $30. Also, I feel like they need a bigger selection of decorative plastic pots. I'm not trying to bring breakable objects into my cat's life lol.

Pretty plants, knowledgeable staff, and a really cute cat! Brayden helped us tremendously with picking out some plants for a landscaping project. He was very well-rounded in knowledge of many types of plants and quite friendly!

Tena’s use of color and plant placement was the best of any landscape designer I have used. The plants were very beautiful and they were good on their warranty and replaced those that didn’t make it through their first winter. I have used other more pricey landscape companies but since using Southwoods and Tena as our designer our place has never looked better!

Very friendly staff, HUGE amount of plants and supplies- i did think it was a bit expensive though. Your view may vary.

This nursery has every kind of plants you can imagine! Reasonably priced and guaranteed. My little memorial garden is full of healthy plants from Southwood Landscape.

Really great place to buy flowers, shrubs, and trees, and if you need a pot they have plenty of of all kinds, sizes, and colors. You can never have too many, for sure.

I love coming here to browse or buy. It's beautiful and the staff is helpful. There's a ton of options in plants and related stuff.

Their prices have gone pretty high the past couple of years. One of my traditions for my birthday was to come and buy whatever plants caught my eye. Would usually spend abut $150. Now if I were to go and buy those same plants it would be twice that amount. At one point they were affordable. Glad to see business is good for them, but they are quickly pricing out those of us who don't have a budget like that. I also wish they would treat their plants for spider mites before selling plants as well. :(

By far the coolest plant nursery I've ever been to. They have a huge variety of indoor and outdoor plants and a huge variety of sizes, too.
I was even able to find several varieties of philodendron that I'd been looking for.
Is it more expensive than Lowes? Yes. Is it way better? Also yes. Totally worth it.
Plus they had these propagation chandeliers that were amazing and now I want one.
*The staff are awesomely helpful and knowledgeable as well, so if you're looking for something in particular, just ask.
I love this place. -
Have bought thousands of dollars in the past from Southwood, love the plants, love the boutique but just had the most hateful experience returning an item ever. It was shocking. First plant I have ever returned in 25+ years. A $40 item on a $500 receipt. In fairness, it was within the 90 day window and they gave me store credit but it’s what was said and the unfriendly tone that creates the unfortunate experience. Driving to Sanders in the morning. Hoping for a happy experience. Plants should bring you joy, not tears.

Large nursery with huge selection of plants. Every variety from house plants to veggies to trees and shrubs. Helpful and knowledgable employees at every turn Beautiful wisteria blooms on their patio awning every spring. Kids can wheel around the grounds on tricycles provided by the nursery.

Nice nursery with a wide variety of options for most seasons! The staff was friendly and they had reasonable prices when we went.

Earlier I had no longer recommended Southwood from a bad experience but now I highly recommend Southwood Landscape & Garden Center. Over the years we have purchased trees, shrubs, bushes & flowers here. They have all been in great shape! Last year we purchased a tree for our son's back yard. Unknowingly to us, someone shopping for a tree had removed our tag, showing this was our tree to be planted that fall. Another, not as pretty tree was delivered & planted. When Dan, who works at Southwood found out about this, he called us & had my husband & I come out & meet with him. Dan made the situation go from bad to great! He cares about Southwood & all of their customers! Southwood is the best & we highly recommend shopping here for all of your lawn & garden needs!!!

Check your plants. We purchased a few plants and a live bat flew out of one of them as we were driving home.
Called back to the store, it was met with indifference. Left a message for one of the owners, someone else called me back, had me re-explain the situation and was told an owner would call me. No one ever did. I did not want to leave a negative review but the owner did not return my call to discuss this and I don’t want this to happen to another family.
Mistakes happen but the complete lack of concern, follow up or even simple acknowledgement showed very poor customer care. -
Great selection anything you want I was impressed we don't have a place like it in Springfield. Prices are very fair. I have been by the green houses on the river where they grow it's an impressive operation.

I got the Spring Gardening Fever a little early and went down to get some flowers, I got some Pansies, African Violets, Violas, and found some pretty hanging baskets for $5 that were clearances out, they were a STEAL! I will need to go back and get another flower fix soon😁

The best nursery in Tulsa. Wide variety of plants, laid out well, you can tell they take care of their plants by how they are arranged. Prices are good. Highly recommend.

After growing tired of seeing the same old plants at the big box stores, I decided to drop by to check out South wood. I was not only amazed at the selection that they offer, but was also impressed by the health of their plants.
I am not the best gardener, but employees all seemed pretty knowledgeable and eager to share.
I do wish that all of the plants had more details on their tags to indicate sun/shade/grow height, etc., but Google and a good plant ID app can be your friend if you can't readily ask an employee. -
I bought a lot of plants from them last summer and they are all flourishing a year later! I am so pleased to have found this gem of garden center. The folks that work there are very nice and helpful. I love how HUGE it is and how healthy the plants are. It's worth the 2 hour drive and I'm even heading back this year!
