I am new to Tom's and was very pleased with their explanation of program and other communications. I asked to be contacted before coming and well guess I didn't explain that need to be like day before so first time Ryan texted to say he was on his way I was OOT. No problem he said and rescheduled me for today 5/19. He showed up on time, completed the application and answered my questions about when puppy could go back outside and when to mow. He was prompt, professional and follow-up reasonably fast with messages.

Eric from Tom’s was extremely helpful. He was prompt, professional, and efficient. In addition, Tom’s as a company has continuously exceeded my expectations. It’s nice having a company you can trust.

Update: I continue to be impressed. Jessica, Juan, Ryan, and countless others have been great!

Bottom Line - I will recommend Tom's Outdoor Living to anyone, without any reservations. A couple years ago Tom's Outdoor Living did some major work on our house. I waited to do the review because I wanted to see how well the work would hold up. We chose Tom's because they will create drawings of what the finished product will look like. That was very important so my wife and I could agree on what we wanted. Working with Skylar and the contractors was fantastic. Skylar was present every day to oversee the work, and every contractor was pleasant to work with. We made many small changes as we progressed, because we found our initial ideas were different than the reality. But that didn't bother the contractors or Skylar. All changes were made on the spot and the completed work is fantastic. My wife and I are very pleased with how all the work turned out. The new drainage, the new concrete, siding, windows, doors, pool deck, patio, lighting; everything turned out great. If we have another large project, I'm going back to Tom's.

The team at Tom's Outdoor Living did a clean up job on our flower beds and did an amazing job. We've had this work done before but it has never looked this good. They were open and honest with the quotes and got the work done quickly. Highly recommened!

Tom’s Outdoor Living corrected all the faults of the other company, finished up the project as I envisioned, and completed the job in a very timely manner. Chris winterized my system recently and as usual he was patient with my questions, knowledgeable, professional, friendly and efficient. Chris is who explains the nuts and bolts of the irrigation system and watering schedules as well as making any repairs and i couldn't be happier with his work.

I have used Tom's for the past 5 years. Brandon does my fertilization and weed control and is always responsive to my concerns with areas where weeds may need to be treated more aggressively. Their work on leaf cleanup is always thorough and professional. When I have a concern, Tom's has always worked with me to promptly address it. I have been very satisfied with my experience.

Jose Perez and his team came back to help us with more backyard projects. They leveled the side of our house with topsoil before putting down gravel and stepping stones. They also built a new border around our concrete sitting area and a new walkway. We can’t wait for cooler temps so we can start making fires! They were all professional, great to work with and made the experience fun. Jose and his team made my wife’s vision a reality.. Here are some before and after pictures of their work

Repaired two leaks but the system wouldn't run after the repair. The crew leader suggested the system valves were old and I should replace all of the them ($$$). I called another company who found it was a bad controller. Tom's crew was fine patching the leaks but had no idea how to diagnose the controller problem.

I HAD a yard that was in dire need of attention. When I called Tom's last fall I did not realize what lay ahead for this yard. When the design team came over they were listening to our wants, which was to make the front look like wild Oklahoma. It was a no pressure meeting and no pressure sales. When they came back with the design, we were blown away!
5 Months later ( we chose to wait for spring) Jose and his crew came to make what was on paper a reality for us! Jose and crew are polite, caring, on time, clean and true pros at what they do! Words can not describe their hard work and caring for our yard. I will be recommending Toms Outdoor to everyone who wants to make their yard their own.

Ethan did a fantastic job of installing my bistro lights today. Every interaction with Tom’s has been excellent. These people know what they are doing and are very knowledgeable and dedicated to providing excellent service, design and installation. Our outdoor living space started in the fall when we met with Eric, Jeremy and Jessica. They came up with an amazing plan that allowed us to split the project into two phases and their team worked seamlessly to bring everything together. We are using them to provide maintenance for our beautiful landscape and irrigation system. You will not be disappointed if you use them for any project, large or small.

Tom's just completed the construction of a grass roots (conception to start up) upscale outdoor kitchen for us. Scheduling was complicated by weather, change orders, and issues with sub-sub contractors. Throughout the 9 months, communication from Tom's was good, and the final product is something of which Tom's can be proud. The field project managers, Eric and Frank were exceptional in the way they took care of unexpected issues. Jeremy, the in-house designer, put together a nice plan as well, and made useful suggestions throughout the design phase with great input from Eric.

I know good project managers when I see them. I was the Vice-President of Projects for Dresser Engineering for 15 years, and would have loved to have these 3 worked for me. I wholeheartedly recommend Tom's and likely will use them again.

We just wrapped up a summer project with Tom's Outdoor Living this week. Initially we were only interested in artificial turf for our relatively small backyard. After meeting with our Project Manager Eric Hightower the ideas and options started flowing and we ended up with a flagstone patio, outdoor lighting, new fencing, improved irrigation layout, monthly lawn service, and the artificial turf.

After experiences with many companies who do not make communication and craftsmanship as their mission, I can honestly say I was so often impressed with the staff at Tom's. There was constant communication with our Project Manager, Eric, as well as Abraham, the irrigation manager. Eric and Abraham were consistently one step ahead of me and immediately returned messages, emails, and calls with promptness and professionalism.

The extremely positive experience, on top of the stunning results with our project, makes recommending Tom's Outdoor Living an obvious decision.

I had reached out to Tom's Outdoor Living about a drainage issue we were having underneath a deck Tom's had installed for the previous owner of our house. Even though we were not the owners who had the deck installed, Tom's wanted to to help make it right. They communicated promptly and set up a time to come out and fix the issue without any charge! I greatly appreciate their professionalism and willingness to stand by the quality of their work!

Great service! For the first time, we had flooding in our house. The old French drain system was all clogged and deteriorated (tree roots). They cleaned out and removed part of the old pipes and re-routed it with a rock dry bed so that it would drain properly and not back up into our house! It also looks a thousand times better than the old pipes. They had to dig holes in the garden bed and part of the yard. I was worried about the yard because it was the best looking grass in our whole yard, but they were careful and used the sod cutter and put it back after they filled the hole. Joe, Carlo and Frank were great and helped us find the best solution to our issues. It has rained since they finished and we've had no water backing up onto the patio and house. Tom’s Outdoor is everything you could ask for in a Landscape, Lawn, and Garden Co. Austin, in particular, is knowledgeable, prompt, and helped customize my retaining wall solution. Tom’s will definitely stay in the Rolodex!

The team at Tom’s was great. Both Eric and Chandler consulted with me and gave some great ideas. The project was scheduled and they kept the schedule. Ricardo and his crew were very good to work with. There were a couple of challenges but the team was committed to making everything right. Definitely a good experience.

I contracted Tom’s to dig out weeds and shrubs out of my landscaping. On the surface things looked good, but after it rained followed by a couple of days of warmth, it became apparent they did not dig out the weeds, they simply pulled them and covered them with a little bit of dirt and straw that I left them to use, because they popped right back up. everything in the attached photo was supposed to have been dug out. I paid over $1400 and I got a $600 job. The sales rep that came out and estimated reached out to ask me how satisfied I was and when I told him my disappointment, he hasn’t even bothered to call or come by to see for himself. I would never use Tom’s and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Lisa W. Tulsa, OK

In the previous post below I reported possible fertilizer burn. Tom’s followed up and aerated and over seeded the yard with excellent results. The yard now looks fantastic.
