Had Toms Outdoor Living do landscaping for my front yard. Worked with Paul, he was very nice, but I was very disappointed with the work. They did stone work, irrigation, lighting.
The irrigation was fine, lighting works but wires not really buried well, almost laying on surface of beds.
I called them back literally 3 times because the majority of the stones were loose in the stacked border. They came out each time and did nothing, stones still loose. Promised to fix it but never did, big glops of concrete, looks very sloppy.
They have no guarantee on plants they put in. Most places have a 6-12 month guarantee. The nurseries even give 12 months.
I can’t recommend them based on they way my yard looks. Extremely disappointed.

Edit:Robby from Tom’s contacted me shortly after this review was posted. He made arrangements to come out and look at the work. He agreed the work was not to their standards and made arrangements to redo the stone work. My husband and I were satisfied with the new stonework.
Although it took several times, I must say they did work to rectify the issue once upper management was aware of the problem. I appreciate them wanting to make it right.

The installation experience was good. The crew did a good job and took care of what we asked them to. But in less than a month, at least three Cypress trees in the flowerbed died. Tom’s came to add nutrients, but told me they do not warranty plants or trees. A quote to replace the material that died was half of the original cost of the bed and included labor at full charge. In less than a month, almost all of our trees had died and Tom’s best offer was to charge us to replace them and charge labor for doing so.

After getting several dissatisfying or over-the-top irrigation system install estimates, my mom happened to see a Tom's Outdoor Living truck and saw that they do irrigation system installation. I checked out their website (very professional, clean, and organized), their Google reviews and decided to give them a call - they were able to get us on the schedule for a quote within just a couple of days.

While we were getting estimates, several competitors started by comparing/justifying themselves against other companies. But Tom's Outdoor Living was different from the beginning. Our project manager, Eric Hightower, listened to our needs to quote a system that would work best for us and within our budget - no talking about other companies. Eric was on-time (even slightly early!) and emailed me the quote before leaving. Best of all, they were able to get us on the schedule much sooner than the other companies we considered.

Install went great! Eric was present to kick-off the install and introduced us to Juan and his crew. We were told install would take up to four days, but they were able to finish in just two. I was impressed with the crew's level of detail when back-filling the trench lines (we chose to not add sod) but they raked the dirt back in very nicely, keeping the trench lines to a minimum - and our yard not looking too torn up! With any large project, we did have a couple of minor incidents, but Tom's did not hesitate to make these small issues right - which is all we can ask. Minor accidents happen, but it's making it right that counts. Eric and Juan ensured us they would make sure everything was how it was before they arrived, and they did. We couldn't have asked for more.

We highly recommend Tom's Outdoor Living, and have already started looking into our next outdoor project with them - a fire pit!

After having a discouraging time finding an honest and worth while lawn service I settled on Tom's. I had heard from some people that the work was great but the price was too high and its simply not true. Like I said, I had to shop around for a while and Tom's is by far the most affordable and from what I have seen, leaves your yard looking like a golf course!
Most impressive and most importantly, their customer service is second to none. If I have a question about a bill, need to change a service date or every just a general inquiry, Toms is always quick to get right back to me. Payment system is all online and super simple. Crews are friendly, efficient and I have never had to ask to redo the same task twice.
I am not typically one to leave reviews online unless my experience with a company is terrible or extraordinary. Up until this point, I have had nothing but an above and beyond positive experience with Tom's Outdoor Living.

Tom’s has a team of dedicated, professional workers. They are also courteous. We value our relationship with them. Jessica is a pleasure too.

Could not be happier with our outdoor area!! Toms added an outdoor space that included a new hot tub, granite bar and composite deck adding beautiful plants that complement our landscaping. The design and landscaping added value to our home, and we are expecting years of enjoyment with our family. We are very excited!!! My wife and I just had landscaping done by Tom's and we love it! We had 2 other companies propose designs, but choose Tom's for multiple reasons; primarily because they came up with the best ideas and understood what we were looking for by taking the time to really listen! Working with Tom's was by far one of the best experiences we've had with contractors. Eric came out and assessed our needs promptly and gave us valuable suggestions to help make our project more cost effective and low maintenance. He was able to give us a rough estimate on the spot and was extremely responsive with our questions and follow up. Would definitely recommend Tom's for their professionalism, responsiveness, and overall great customer service!

We just changed to Tom’s Outdoor Living for our fertilization/weed control, and have been extremely satisfied. Communication is excellent, and when the weather changes, Brandon communicates with us. Our yard looks good, and we’re looking forward to using Tom’s for our the weeds/fertilizer in 2021! UPDATE: It’s 2022 and we’re still using Tom’s. Our service tech Kyle is great at communicating, and our lawn looks much better than it ever has. Highly recommend! Update: 2023, Still using Tom’s, and very pleased with the communication with Kyle, the technician, and with the treatments for the lawn. Still Highly Recommend! UPDATE: 2023–still very pleased with Tom’s and with our service tech, Kyle—great communication and our lawn is healthy and weed-free. UPDATE 2: Year 3 (2025) and we’re still using Tom’s. Service tech Ryan has been great to communicate with, lets me know when he’s done the treatment so I can lock the back gate, and does a good job. Thank you, Ryan! UPDATE 3: Still doing a great job, and Ryan as well as Micah keep us informed about treatments, even in the face of rain events that change what can be done. Finally got a week without rain delays. Thank you, Ryan!

Tom’s installed a new deck at my house. The work is outstanding and the whole process was smooth. I will definitely be using Tom’s again! Eric and Skylar made everything easy and it was a pleasure to work with them.

Hired Tom's Outdoor Living to manage the weed control and fertilization of my lawn. I want it to look great and only have to mow! We used Tom's Outdoor Living to bring my 20 year old sprikler system back to life.
I had the absolute pleasure of working with Frank Branigan, Joe Miller, and Mr. Carlos (Tom's Irrigation Division). I can't recommend them highly enough! From start to finish, their professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to quality, and keeping cusotmer well inforemd of status was exceptional.

If you're looking for similar workscope to mine, noted above, than look no further, Tom's Irrigation Team is the real deal. I would absolutely work with them again on future reparis neeed at the house.

Chris, Carlo, and Jo performed a very difficult repair on my sprinkler pipes damaged by roots and tree removal. They were all courteous hard working and kept me informed. Very satisfied.
