I hired SOS to come trim some unruly trees in my backyard that were hanging over my power lines. They sent someone out to give me a bid, which was a great price, and they showed up early to do the job! They were quick and efficient and cleaned everything up when they left. My trees look awesome!!! I will definitely be calling them back for all of my future outdoor needs! A+

Work is exemplary. Crews are polite and clean up after themselves. Office personnel communication/response is essentially non-existent, hence the drop to 4 stars.

Absolutely the worst experience the contractor TIM didn't even finish the job. He rarley showed up and if he did the work he produced is garbage. He drilled so many holes into my mother's brand new cabinets for absolutely no reason. He was late every single day if he even showed up. DO NOT HIRE

Jim and his team are excellent. Great work, respectful of property, no reminders needed, able to provide good solutions, and discuss alternatives. We have had an entire backyard renovation and weekly yard service. No complaints.

From the Ground Up put in a new fence for us. They removed the old, placed the new one in concrete metal posts, perfectly placed the panels, placed NICE gate, and made it all the perfect height. It was a total turn-key project.
That experience was so flawless, I used their services to remove a fruitless weeping mulberry tree from our front yard. They had the tree down, ground up, and stump gone within minutes. It was impressive to watch! They also cared enough to ground up the roots mere millimeters from the concrete walkway to eliminate the trip hazard and roots from cracking the concrete. Then they laid down sod where the tree was and watered it and advised me how to care for the new grass. They even made some recommendations on what plants would be good in this area. Absolutely stellar service and consummate professionals. A+ on both jobs.

My house was dwarfed by over grown bushes, and we received damage from the ice and cold the last few years. I asked Jim to take everything out and design something nice including lights and a sprinkler system. He came up with a design that included color, diversity, and drought resistant plants. His crew were fast and polite. The only issues we had were the rain which slowed progress, some plants not in the nursery yet, and the controller for the sprinkler system not working right. None of these issues were their fault and they fix/replaced/installed as soon as things were available. I would recommend and use them again.

We have used From the Ground Up for several years for our landscaping, sprinkler repair, lawn care, and fertilizing/preemergence needs. They also removed a tree from our front yard that was infested with beatles. They have always done exceptional work.
We recently moved and our new house did not have a fence. Jim's crews did a fantastic job! They installed both 6' and 8' stockade fencing with multiple gates. They were fast, yet thourough in making sure everything was correct.

Called them to set up my grass being mowed. They asked me to text them my address and they would get back to me about pricing. Well 4 days later and still no response back.
