Savage Gardens recently installed a front garden at our house. This was our first time hiring a landscaping company. Many awesome things stood out about this company starting with the owner’s knowledge about what plants would suit our space and why. On planting day the crew was equally impressive. The job was done very efficiently, the crew was extremely friendly, our yard was thoroughly tidied up after they finished and the work done was superb. We are extremely impressed and their landscaping transformed our front yard. We highly recommend this company!

Recently Jesse designed a landscape plan for our front and back yard. He listened to what we were looking for and created a plan that is beautiful and works perfectly for our yard. We’re thrilled with the plans and with how responsive Jesse was to our questions and concerns. Garry and I would highly recommend him.

Jesse made the design in the fall. We reviewed it a few times. He uses a program on computer that creates a video to help you understand changes. He used that to explain a few things to me. I needed ti change my back gate to allow a piece of equipment he uses. When I asked what date he’d be coming to do the planting he gave me an approximate one and within a week of that he was here. Two other men work with Jesse. They were here for two days and cleaned up everything. A few other requests were handled immediately. All 3 were professional and gracious all the time. Expensive but worth every penny! I can’t wait to see my garden grow. Now it it spring and I am ready for 'phase 2'...Jesse has sent a design and ordered the trees and plants. Just waiting for the weather to improve so the job can be done. He always answers questions and gives feedback.

Jesse came by and designed our front gardens as there wasn't much there after we purchased our house. Jesse drew up some plans and explained what we would need as we would have direct sun.
The final product was exactly what was on the plans.

The Savage Gardens crew were able to clear some beds for me of overgrown and older plantings original to our house, create some new beds, add soil & remove some large bushes and weeds, level some areas and move soil. This was all done within a day & a half. It was quick and courteous and has helped me greatly to envision and carry out new plantings on my property front and back, which will begin Spring 2024. Looking forward to this process now with a clean slate! I highly recommend Jesse and his workers for any gardening and landscaping needs you may have.

Our property was 1.5 acres of questionable patchy grass areas and no love. It was time for a full makeover!
Jesse created a custom design that worked with our vision, and selected flowers and scrubs that were suitable to each area of installation (we had some grading and draining issues). He is extremely knowledgeable in design / plant selection and honest with any limitations or issues. It all came together pretty quickly - his crew works fast! We ended up with 5 separate flower garden areas throughout the property, and each was uniquely beautiful. I really loved the red pine mulch (it’s not red, rather natural brown - don’t let the name throw you off!) and the scent is woodsy and lasting. Good recommendation!
Jesse made sure that my black thumb wasn’t going to ruin these beauties by ensuring I was clear on how to maintain them and prepare for the winter.

We initially reached out to Jesse because he is local and we’d heard good things about him and his company. To say I was impressed is an understatement! Our home is a new build with large garden space (and septic access), and I didn’t have a clue where to begin (I was feeling overwhelmed and anxious about the whole thing).

Jesse responded to my inquiry, asked some initial questions to get us started (colour/plant preferences, etc.), then responded with a photo of our house, plant suggestions added to the photo, then proceeded to provide video commentary explaining everything about the plants, why they were selected, etc., etc. As a rookie, it was exactly what I needed. The visual presentation immediately reduced my anxiety and I knew we were in good hands. I can’t express how awesome it was to be able to actually see what everything would look like beforehand. The end result was beautiful (I don’t currently have a pic to upload) but we’re so excited to watch everything grow and fill out. Our house finally looks like someone lives there!

Jesse made the entire experience easy (almost too easy). His communication/responses were prompt, detailed, patient (with my changing mind) and extremely professional.
