Nick did a fantastic job removing two large trees, including stump removal, planting several trees, removing a lot of difficult brush, transplanting, and leveling the ground afterwards. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. He is clearly passionate about his work and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend him!

Nick embodies an extremely rare combination of courtesy, professionalism, passion, knowledge for his craft and attention to detail. He did an amazing job on the front four trees on our property today, including two 30 year old honey locusts that are quite a challenge to maintain. If there were a way to give him more stars I would; I can't recommend him highly enough.

Used this company twice and had two positive experiences. The most recent was to remove a very large tree in our backyard. Watched the entire process and it was easy to see that Nick was very skilled at what he does. He is also very knowledgeable about the various tree species. The clean up afterwards was great and the service was top notch. I have and will continue to recommend his services to family and friends. Nick is a tree guru!

Nick is great! He removed two large hedges That had become unmanageable and a dead Manitoba maple. Then he came back and transplanted our Rose of Sharon to where the old hedges used to be. Nick is professional, knowledgable and does great work! I highly recommend him!

Citizens of "Fitz" in St. Catharines, and further abroad in Niagara, there is indeed a pro who will trim that hedge, fell that tree, avoid that line, find those roots under your patio stones or foundation, and answer any questions you have in a comprehensive and pleasant way.

We met with Nicholas for an estimate for our large maple tree. This man knows his stuff. He actually gave us a breakdown of the health of our tree and gave us his recommendations for pruning it back. He showed up in the pouring rain and proceeded to work on our tree (even when it was dark). He cleaned everything up to the point that the yard looked better than when he started. His price was extremely reasonable and was well worth it. I highly recommend him and his team for any jobs small or large. He actually treats your trees as if they were people.

Hired Goodwin’s Trees to cut down a big infestated magnolia while we were away.

When we came back, we wouldn’t have known Nick’s team was here if it weren’t for the tree being gone.

Goodwins Trees did a fantastic job in cutting back and upward, the canopy at the back of our property, as well as cleaning up our lilac canopy on our side-yard. Looking for tree trimming, then Goodwin Tree Service is the company. Nick and his partner are skilled, extremely knowledgeable, reliable and very friendly. They trimmed our Maple with expertise. You cannot beat their price. The clean up is spectacular. Our yard was tidier after they left. :)

We hired Goodwin’s Trees to help us with some trees in our backyard. Nick and his assistant Jake did a great job. More so, he went over the different species of trees in our yard, and explained the process thoroughly, as well as what to do after to make sure they stay healthy, or the ones that were cut down don’t grow back. Nick was the best. Most professional, knowledgeable and safety conscious tree service I've ever used! We had a tall really large limb right over top of a wooden fence and he dropped the whole thing without even coming close. He has my business for life. Before and after photos attached. Price was excellent as well.
