A big thank you to Trevor for sharing his tree knowledge and expertise. Trevor, Doug and Jacob expertly and safely completed a trimming of our very large silver maple and efficiently removed a Norway maple for us this week. All three were friendly, efficient and did an amazing clean-up afterwards too. We are very happy with the outcome and highly recommend Shorthills Tree Service Inc.

Really great service from Brian at Shorthills Tree Service. He came to our house personally to give us an assessment and his quote was knowledgeable and well priced. On the day of he was prompt and courteous and got the job done well and faster than I thought possible. Our tree stumps were massive and had huge exposed roots that other services were unable to deal with. The job was done in 2.5 hours and I couldn't be more pleased. This is not our first time working with Shorthills Tree Service. They have been taking care of our large backyard trees for almost 5 years. And today's service continued their reputation for excellence. Brian came quickly for a quote when we reached out about some trouble with one of our trees. I always trust his advice about how to manage our trees for long and beautiful life.

Brian got us scheduled quickly and gave us lots of time to arrange the space for our service. The crew showed up at our home, on time and were quick to connect and let us know what to expect. They listened and advised us on trimming and tree maintenance. They were very pleasent and worked hard on the large project.

They took down a large spiral willow and stumped the tree as well. They were respectful of our space and yard, cleaned up my yard, and my neighbour's yards meticulously. My kids thought all the equipment was super cool. The crew was happy to let them watch especially when they used some of the bigger equipment (safely from our house).

We will continue to rely on Shorthills Tree Service to maintain our remaining tree. We are happy to have Brian and his Team come back to our house. I highly recommend them.

A great experience from the office to the site. I have a very mature well-treed property that needed major TLC. Everything was very well explained and documented before providing a detailed estimate. Once on site, a crew of 5 came with the truck and worked very safely from the trees and on the ground. They left without a trace in my yard. Very impressive operation and I will definitely be using them again in the future. Thanks again to Brian, Trevor and the team for a great job.

Last season we needed all four trees on the property to be pruned - two mature (with many branches growing onto/towards/over the house), one mid-aged, and one young. Short Hills provided the best quote of three.

It was a big job, they were here for a few hours. The lower canopies of the older trees were pruned back and this gave a feeling space around them. This year they both look great. The younger trees just needed some shaping, they also look full and healthy this season.

During the initial inspection Trevor had given a suggestion to remove the soils around three of the trees to prevent trunk rot. I didn’t get to that last year but started this project a few weeks ago. After removing the soil around the Birch and cutting away the girdling roots, he was kind enough to take a quick visit to give some advice on what to do next. Thankfully all I had to do was finish by covering the exposed root system with a little soil and top with mulch.

Trevor was also kind enough to suggest a few trees to plant in the backyard to fill the space when the Maple there now eventually dies away.

Short Hills provides TOP communication and service. We will definitely call them back to do the next pruning in a few years. Please have no hesitation and have full confidence in them for any arbor work you need on your property.

I had Shorthills Tree Service come to remove a maple tree in my backyard in early spring. Trevor and his crew arrived when scheduled. They were very friendly and professional and did a great job with the tree removal. Clean up was superb! I asked Trevor’s advice on a couple other trees that needed trimming. Trevor has excellent knowledge about what should be done to make the shape of the tree look great. I called Shorthill again to come back to trim the trees we’d talked about. I specifically requested Trevor and was happy to wait for an opening in his schedule! I was equally impressed with this visit. Trevor and his crew did a beautiful job shaping the trees without causing stress to the trees. Clean up again was great! Brian’s team removed a huge Austrian Pine Tree from our property today. They were truly amazing. A team of 4 … all very friendly and professional. They took great care of our property and our neighbours property. Clean up was great. And absolutely no damage to property, wires, driveways or our yards. Thank you Brian and team. Brian came and did an estimate for us for the removal of a Pine tree, and trimming of a maple and oak. The price beat the other 2 estimates by quite a bit so we went with them. Trevor, Doug and Ian arrived on time on the scheduled date and were professional, courteous and knowledgeable. They took great care in their work and cleaned up leaving our yard better than they found it. I would not hesitate to use Shorthills Tree Service again, and would also recommend them to any friends, neighbors and co-workers. Great job team!

Thanks Trevor and your team for taking down a huge black thorny locust in our front yard a couple of years ago. You then were able to create an amazing live edge dining room table for us made out of the material from the that very tree. Just an awesome job all around, a work of art! Thanks again.

Trevor recently cleared a 1 acre forested lot for our new home in Welland. His advice and workmanship was way beyond what we expected. He even saved a piece of a 100 year old Oak from the lot to make a custom mantel for us.. Highly recommended!

Treemore removed a 60' blue spruce that blew over from our neighbours yard into ours for an insurance claim we had to submit. They removed it without causing further damage to our property, shed or boat. Treemore's crew were professional and very quick. They left the property looking like nothing had ever happened. Fantastic experience from start to finish. Everything with asked for was done right. Our trees look beautiful and healthy.

Treemore trimmed three large trees for us, including multiple limbs on a century-old oak. From the initial consultation, Trevor made the experience pleasant and easy. He explained the process clearly, set a reasonable price and organized to get the work done quickly.

When Treemore arrived on site they took great care to ensure a safe working area and minimize any risk of damage to our home or property. The oak is situated in an awkward location, near other trees, a fence and a shed. This meant that it needed to be climbed to perform the work. Despite this complication, they completed all the work in one day and left the property looking pristine.

I would highly recommend Treemore to anyone with tree trimming needs.
