Scape It performed a landscaping project for us in August 2023, including sodding the backyard, adjusting the exterior drainage, and placing a stone border along the back fence of our property. We normally don’t write reviews (due to our busy schedules), but Scape It did this project so excellently that we would like to write this review to let people know that there is such a good landscaping contractor in our area. We provide some details below:

First, Meet Hishaam
The first person we met is Hishaam, the business representative of Scape It. Hishaam is a friendly and polite man. He paid full attention to our needs to propose a good solution. He was also accurate in estimating the needed materials, and reasonable in the pricing.

As an example, Hishaam’s estimation of the top soil we needed was higher than that of the other contractors, but it turned out that his estimation was perfect for our backyard! Also, his pricing was reasonable, compared to the other contractors’.

Hishaam is also a detailed and caring man. He noticed the stones currently being used on the sides of our house and asked us where we had purchased those stones, so that he could acquire the same stones from the same supplier to build the stone border for us for “perfect matching”.

In addition, Hishaam is very punctual in his appointments. He showed up at the time he promised and never let us waste our time in waiting for him.

Next, Meet Fadi
Fadi is the owner of the business who is also working on the site with his crewmen.

Fadi is very careful and skillful in operating landscaping machines. He prepared our backyard so well for the sodding, as he said to us: “Prep work is the key to the success of any project”.

Fadi is very knowledgeable in the area of landscaping and for sure in what he is doing. He knows the drainage system in our backyard well, and know how our system is connected to our neighbours’ systems. As the result, he was able to lead his crew to do a good job in adjusting the drainage to make sure that his work will meet the town’s requirements.

Fadi is a hard-working person, who does not hesitate to get his hands dirty to get a job done well. He told us that he was trained not to be afraid of difficult work when he was a boy. Fadi indeed worked hard on our project and was the encouraging spirit for his team.

Fadi is also very well organized. He had his men clean up the working site properly at the end of the day. Especially on the day when they finished the project, Fadi and his crews cleaned up our back and front yards, even the curb side in front of our driveway, so well that we could not be happier! Fadi said: “We clean up properly so people would not even know that we have worked here.”

We should also mention that Fadi is a very kind boss to his crewmen. We are sure that his men really appreciate his kindness.

Finally, Meet the Crew
Of course the project would not be completed without the crew. This is a group of 7 - 8 men who are dedicated to the work of the company.

What this crew impressed us was their positive working attitude. This project involved very heavy work, considering many tons of stones, top soil, and sod rolls had to be wheel-barreled into the backyard. Hence, the crew had to work hard, but they were happy all the time :)

Not only the crewmen worked hard on this project, they were also very careful in everything that they did, from preparing the yard to laying down the sods, from burying the edge to installing the stones, etc. We are very happy with the results of their work.

Conclusion
We all know that it is difficult to find good contractors nowadays. Some of us even have negative, unhappy experience with bad contractors. In this situation, Scape It stands out even more distinctively as a good, professional, and reliable contractor. We are very happy with the work Scape It performed and would like to recommend this company to you for your landscaping needs.

This team was very professional, attentive to details and did the job in an organized and effective way. I would recommend Scape it to anyone considering landscaping. It was nice to have the work done and not have to worry about the quality and efficiency of the work being done. These guys cared about the quality they were producing.

I am not sure if words can fully express how wonderful it was to work with all from the Scape It crew! They came into a ‘bit of a disaster’ new build property and made it beautiful. Not only did they do a wonderful job, but they also took their time, they were methodical making sure all was ‘perfect’. So excited to finally have a yard! Scape it removed dozens of small trees and thick weeds. They did a great job levelling and tilling our backyard, and laying out the driveway in the front.
