Mark, Ryan and Brendan worked efficiently and skilfully to thin and trim our trees of all sizes and varieties. Each one looked tip top when they were done! The crew willingly cut up and set aside larger branches for firewood, and sent everything else thru the chipper, leaving the yard spic and span. Our trees look wonderful ! Thank you CTALC!

Mark and his crew trimmed two of our trees and cleaned the gutter where the leaves had fallen. They did a great job and even came back without hesitation when I realized that I needed a bit more. I would definitely hire them again to do more. Probably next year around fall. Thank you!!

Called and had them come out to give an estimate on pruning. Gave the bid, agreed stated they would be here sooner than later to do so. Checking up on things after a month of not hearing from the to ensure they would still be getting at it before it was too late, I was simply advised they had more pressing issues and to go ahead and find someone else. Absolutely disrespectful, had they not wanted to do it then they simply could of stated that from the get go rather than leaving me hanging at the last moment before my tree blooms to try and get another provider out here to do the job before it's too late. I know it wasn't a big job, but i have a couple large pines that will need to come down in the next several years, certainly wont be calling them again.

I received a gift certificate for lawn service through Shonnards. Corvallis Tree and Lawn Care were the people who provided the service. I was impressed with their willingness to do whatever I asked, even when I wasn't sure what I wanted! They seemed to figure it out. This was a fall clean up and the place looked fabulous when they left.
One thing that impressed me was how truly interested the fellows were in my yard, including the part they weren't working on.
I'm hoping I'll receive another gift certificate!

I shopped around for a while and selected these guys as they were the cheapest (by about $50). There was some discrepancy with the initial bid and I was verbally put at ease over several phone calls, "yeah we'll do that". Long story short, make sure you get everything you want in writing. They didnt do anything I was promised over the phone. I don't have much legal recourse as it wasn't written down. Their initial invoice did say 'clean up', and they left tree debris everywhere. I'm not at all happy with the service, I will not recommend them to anyone, nor will they be considered for future projects. They do have positive and negative reviews. I had a bad experience. below are some of the many areas or rubbish I cleaned up after they left.

Corvallis Tree and Lawn Care gave me the lowest bid to have 8 of my trees trimmed. They did a great job not only trimming the trees but also cleaning up all the limbs that fell in my yard and 2 of my neighbors yards. I was very happy with their service and will call them again!

We had a large limb break & cover our lower deck and side yard. They came out the sameday we called to inspect our tree and limb, and were out the next morning. Then they came out this week to take down a decaying limb down, and again great service. They were quick, efficient, and we're very happy with our service. We highly recommend them.

Corvallis Tree Care has done quality work on time for the 7 years that we have had them doing our tree and yard work. They have been trustworthy and dependable while taking on everything from downing an 80 foot Sequoia to annual pruning done again last week. We're most happy with the results.

I was very impressed with this company. I had a tree removed a year ago and there was part of the stump left in the ground. I called them up and asked if they would be willing to remove the rest since it was left during the initial removal. They took care of it the next day. The person I talked to on the phone and the one who came out to remove the rest of the stump were very professional, kind, and thoughtful. I would definitely recommend them to others and use them in the future.

I was pleasantly surprised by the affordability. I thought it would cost a fortune to remove my trees but Mark's price was very reasonable and transparent. The crew showed up on time and was very respectful of me and my property. They cut the trees very effectively and left the area as if they were never there. One of my trees significantly hung over my neighbor's fence but they managed that variable without a problem; I don't think my neighbors even knew they had been there. I highly recommend this tree service.

We needed a 25-30' hemlock tree removed. I contacted 7 businesses. Only two responded at all. One could make an appointment two weeks out for an estimate. Corvallis Tree & Lawn Care could come the next day for the estimate. They came out and talked about what was needed in a way that gave us confidence they'd do a good job. The price seemed fair and they could put us on the schedule a day ahead of the date we had with the other company just for an estimate! The work was done perfectly in less than 2 hours -- including bringing the tree down into about a 3 foot narrow strip of lawn, avoiding plantings on either side. They cut the wood up according to our unusual wishes, too, (I wanted part of the trunk sliced in half lengthwise) and did some pruning work high on two other trees overhanging the house. Clean up was complete. They were friendly, efficient and fun! Cost was $500, which seemed fair in such a competitive market.

They got to us quickly, got the work done and cleaned up the mess. Very Satisfied.

I've worked with a good many arborists and tree care companies over the years, and I'd say Corvallis tree care is among the very best. They are very competitively priced, have competent crews and reliable equipment that they know how to use. You'd think this would be a given with this kind of work, but it really is not. There are a lot of self-promoters with a chain saw around who say they can get the job done. My rule is never hire a company in business less than five years. That tends to weed them out. You don't have to worry with this group. I've recommended them to many friends and no one has had a bad experience.
