Two interactions with this company tell me "avoid". 1) previous owners had them out to look at a 'hot' dimmer. Reese told them they get hot, so nothing needed. Uh, no. First, the switch got too hot to touch posing not only a safety hazard, but it could easily start a fire. All they had to do is calculate the current draw of the fixture on the circuit and they would have seen it was twice the rated current of the dimmer. Negligence. 2) Had them out for an estimate for replacing wired smoke detectors. They not only were not aware of the requirement for CO detectors in the state of Oregon now, but quoted a ludicrous price to replace just the smoke detectors. When told they need to make them smoke/CO detectors, they padded the estimate. This was an existing system. All that was needed was swapping units. We did it ourselves for somewhere around 1/10 the estimate. Best advice: ask around for a good electrician. And avoid these guys.

Shane was great! He replaced my Electrical Panel that was old in one day and kept me updated via text. Reese Electric was fantastic. Thank you.
