Low quality work and no integrity. Steer clear.

This business parks all sorts of run down vehicles and materials and junk along North Dakota St. You’d think a construction company would have their own place to park all their garbage instead of resorting to a neighborhood street that is no where near their listed business address.

Fantastic job from quote to finish. This was not something I was planning on getting however when I had another company check out my AC and said it needed to be replaced I decided to get a few quotes. Went onto Home Depot’s website and about 20 mins later I got a call to schedule for a person to come out and give me a quote. The sales person was thorough, walked me through all of my options and was even not bothered by my Bernese getting excited about making a new friend. The quote for the set was on the lower end of was estimates were I was looking at so felt very comfortable especially since they use Carrier which is a top brand. Following week I get a text with tracking on the service install person coming to my house. Would highly recommend and very happy I got this done before summer!

Good response and technician is very knowledgeable and efficient in installing.
Great job by the contractor. However, I was told that I will receive documentation but had not seen any info.from home Depot. Reason for not having 5 stars.

I’m writing this review based on my experience with Romanoff Renovations’ scheduling and customer service, not the installation crew themselves. The evening before my installation, I was given a scheduled arrival window of 12:00–3:00 PM. The installers did not arrive until after 4:00 PM, and I was unable to leave my home until after 7:30 PM. This delay caused significant disruption: I had to cancel a doctor’s appointment, reschedule my children’s sports drop-off and pickup, and rearrange work commitments. As a single parent, this was an extreme inconvenience.I do not believe this reflects on the installers—they were professional, efficient, and clearly skilled. They did an excellent job once they arrived. The issue lies with Romanoff’s scheduling and customer service processes, which appear to underestimate job duration and overpromise arrival windows. When I contacted customer service, the response lacked empathy and accountability. I was simply offered the option to reschedule, which would have required taking another full day off with no confidence the situation would be handled differently.I own and operate a company with over 30 installation technicians and a dedicated service department. I would never place my team—or a customer—in a situation where expectations were so poorly managed. The waste of my time was unacceptable, and I believe a monetary adjustment or discount is warranted given the disruption caused. While I appreciate the installers and their professionalism, this experience has made it unlikely that I would use Romanoff Renovations or Home Depot installation services again. In the future, I will choose a smaller, more accountable provider.

Really good service and smart people. I used their sub-contract services and referrals on an expensive home and it turned out really well! Other than Precision Countertops, I would recommend their recommendations and people.

Came on time and did a thorough check of my gas furnace. I got the $8.88 special deal.

I met Patriots Heating and cooling through an offer at Home Depot, they came out a year or two ago to inspect. I was charged an additional $169.00 to do maintenance on my AC. They looked at it and said it was too dirty and wanted another $389. I turned them down and cleaned it myself. They did not refund $169. I received a call this winter for another furnace inspection, and accepted without thinking. They came out and said they saw corrosion around the joints and red tagged my furnace inspection the winter!!!
A salesman came in and gave a big presentation, with options ranging $23k - 30k. If I acted now I could get a deal haha, I had until the end of the day which was two hours away. While we were deliberating I called two other companies to come give me quotes. We told them no, then I got a call/texts from someone identifying themselves as the owner offering me $500, ridiculous. After competitive bids I paid $17,000 for a middle of the range furnace and a Heat pump for AC. I have used Home Depot in the past recently flooring, I have been happy. Very disappointed this time. I also received several texts from the salesman giving me attitude for not selecting them.
