I called in service for my ice maker. Before scheduling, I had to fill out paperwork then deposit of $10. It’s been over 10 days and getting a run around. Then, they gave me an estimate with water filters for ridiculous price. I bought 6 filters for less than their 1 water filter price. I realize they need to make money. I do not recommend this ROX.I end up canceling my service and paying $637 to get jerked around for just a diagnosis. It was horrible experience

Literally the best commercial kitchen repair company ever! They always answer the phone or call right back, they work hard to accommodate your needs, they show up when they say they will, they are the most reliable company! I have worked been a Chef for 30 years and used so many people, Rox is above and beyond the best company in Portland Metro area.

I had a good experience with Rox Services. The technician arrived on time, was extremely friendly, and fixed my commercial dishwasher. The communication from the company regarding ordering of parts was not timely, and we ended up waiting longer than anticipated for the repair.

Rox Services was fantastic – the technician arrived on time, was very professional and explained everything clearly. The service was prompt, reasonably priced and the staff were friendly and helpful. They fixed my oven quickly. I highly recommend their appliance repair services.

I understand that your company has a visit and diagnostic fee policy, and I acknowledge that service calls may be billable regardless of whether repairs are approved. That is not the primary concern here.
The core issue remains that the diagnosis provided during the visit was incorrect. The fryer was not experiencing a multi-component failure. The actual cause was a failed high-limit safety thermostat, and once that component was replaced, the unit returned immediately to full operation. The gas valve and thermopile quoted at $1,993.60 were not the source of the problem.
While I respect that diagnostic time has value, the accuracy of that diagnosis is equally important. When a visit results in a significantly incorrect repair recommendation, it is reasonable for a customer to question the value of the charge.
I would also like to note that, as of today, I have not received any direct follow-up or concrete resolution via email. If the intention is to resolve this matter, I would appreciate direct communication rather than a general public response. I am open to addressing this fairly and professionally, but that requires meaningful engagement beyond a template reply.
I remain open to a reasonable resolution.

Just my point of view, For transparency and fairness to other customers, I respectfully ask that your previous public response not be removed.

2nd Update: Thank you for your public response. However, the issue was ultimately found to be a disconnected reset/high-limit wire, a simple repair, after we were advised to replace major components at an estimated cost of nearly $2,000.
Accurate diagnosis is critical for commercial businesses, as unnecessary repair recommendations create both operational and financial risk. We also reached out privately but have not received a response, and hope the same level of professionalism shown publicly will be extended to direct communication. (Same updated to yelp)

I had a very disappointing experience with Rox Services. Their technician misdiagnosed my Pitco fryer and presented a repair estimate of $1,993.60 for replacing a gas valve and thermopile that were not actually faulty.
I declined the repair due to the excessive cost. Afterward, I personally investigated the issue and found that the real problem was a failed high-limit safety thermostat, which I replaced myself. The fryer worked perfectly after that.
What made this experience worse is that my credit card was charged $240 for a visit that lasted less than 5 minutes, even though no repair was performed and the diagnosis was incorrect. I have contacted the company to resolve this matter and have received no response.
As a business owner, this experience was frustrating enough that it made me think about starting my own service company simply to protect other business owners from unnecessary repairs, inflated quotes, and careless diagnostics.
I strongly recommend that anyone using Rox Services get a second opinion before approving any repairs or charges.

Taking advantage of customers’ lack of technical knowledge through misdiagnosis and excessive charges is deceptive and should not be acceptable in any professional service business.

Asah came in today to fix our refrigerator! He was so kind and helpful, explaining every step he was taking to ensure the fridge is fixed and told me how to prolong the life of the machine! We have such a small space and he was so courteous allowing me to work without getting in the way! I’ve met him a few times and he’s always so friendly and personable! Great job, and I really appreciate the timely response!

We recently had to replace the condenser and evaporator in our industrial-sized blast walk-in freezer at Roadrunner Pizza in Gladstone, Oregon. Rox Services delivered excellent work from start to finish. They removed our old unit and installed the new condenser and evaporator without issue. The new system is performing exactly as needed.

I called Rox Services for a fryer repair to Donut Palace, and he arrived super quick. I had two fryers that needed to be repaired and one of them was fixed on the spot and the second fryer needed more tools. The gentleman was very professional and returned with the correct tools in a timely fashion and fixed the second fryer. Highly recommend this repairman.

We live in an old apartment complex. Half our electricity went out, and the staff at the complex couldn’t figure it out. Paul came in, super nice, we showed him what happened and he got to work.
