Reviews of local pros in Beaverton, Oregon

Ruben helped me to build my house in Lake Oswego in 2021. He helped me with excavation, foundation, framing, siding and concrete work. He had been working with me since 2019 when I first started the project but I had to halt the project due to COVID. He is patient and details orientated.
He also communicated well during the projects to let both sides understand the situation and potential issues.
When any issues came out he also worked closely with me to solve them.
His team worked hard on my house and delivered what they agreed to deliver.
I would recommend anybody to use this company for the types of work mentioned.

RBP made my driveway. Excellent work, they are very good with concrete and a good price. I recommend them

I had a huge concrete job done this past year and Reuben and his crew did wonderful work. We had setbacks with weather several times but they persevered and finished the job with excellent results! Reuben is a contractor who is very good at communicating with his clients. He was always checking to be sure I was satisfied with the results and wanting and respecting my input. His crew were polite and a joy to work with. I would highly recommend him for any job!

Reasonable price and quick service
Siding, front door and exterior front windows replaced

My siding project is finally done.... While I really liked all the people I meet at RBP... I never knew when anything was going to happen. Also, they damaged parts of the exterior like electric outlets, patio door, etc. Once I had paid them for 90% of the job it took 2 months to finish the project and I had to hire my own electrician to complete the job. Not a fun experience. I wish RBP well but I cannot recommend them for siding work. Perhaps they are great at concrete work but I will never know.

RPB Construction was called to make a large repair to an outer wall of the church I belong to. The wall had been accidentally clobbered inward by a church member, who hit the gas instead of the brake in their car. The wall repair took new bottom plates, new 2 x 6 studs, insulation, inside drywall work, and finding some closely-matched tongue and groove siding to what's used on the building. All this repair work got done in January this year in a very timely manner. Finally the repair was such that nobody could see any (damage) difference with the repaired wall; things looked identical, before and after the mishap. Bravo!

I selected RBP for my ADU project after an exhaustive search for contractors. His team did the excavation, concrete, framing, roofing, siding, electrical, plumbing and drywall. Communication was clear and I could always contact my project manager to get an update or work through issues. RBP does high quality work and they are trustworthy.

RBP Construction demolished two old existing patios that were riddled with cracks and that contained a variety of conflicting slopes caused by erosion over time. Excavation was labor intensive because of limited access to the location and solid rock formations underneath portions of both patios. In order to make each new patio level, because of the slope, RBP had to build a retaining wall between each and install sixty feet of concrete curbing along the base of an existing sixty-year-old concrete retaining wall. The new curbing was particularly challenging because it needed to be accomplished without disrupting the structural integrity of the old wall…no easy task. After the project was completed we encountered a small drainage issue causing water to accumulate on the lower patio. In order to rectify this drainage problem RBP removed and repoured a sizeable portion of that lower patio at their expense. Bottom line, I was very pleased with RBP’s quality workmanship and the way they stood behind their work.

Project Scope
1. 2 new level concrete patios ( 15’ x 25’ and 30’ x 20’)
2. 21’ x 46” concrete walkway,
3. 10’ wide x 4’t concrete planter,
4. 8’ Concrete pad for refuse,
5. City sidewalk repair
6. Repair of steps to one of the rentals.

Ruben and team were excellent to work with on our patio extension project. Even though our job was a smaller job, they were detailed and responsive to our request. Everything turned out well and we would gladly recommend them for any job. Ruben was extremely professional from start to finish and made sure we were satisfied with the results.

CHS has done a lot of the work at our shop. Great price and great work. Highly recommend.

CHS Construction did amazing job on my remodel! I highly recommend them for all construction projects.

CHS Construction did an amazing job on my remodel for my bathroom and kitchen. They also did my flooring, I highly recommend them and the crew very pleasant and easy to work with. Thanks CHS

I was referred to CHS by a mutual acquaintance after a water leak in my kitchen forced me into a complete remodel. The first two discussions I had with Bruce, he was very informative and helpful. He walked me through the process for involving my homeowner's insurance and assured me that his team could help the whole way. He coordinated the plumbing repairs and sent out his mitigation expert to assess the damage and obtain necessary documentation. After that, he went completely silent. He would not return my phone calls or texts and I never received the mitigation report and estimate required for insurance documentation. After an initial discussion and assignment with the insurance carrier, he also failed to respond to any correspondence from them.

The CHS team *might* do good work at the end of the day, but the communication and customer service is some of the worst I've experienced. In a situation where I needed a good partner and advocate, I was completely left hanging. Now not only do I have to find a new contractor to start this process over, my claim was closed without payment due to lack of timely documentation and appropriate reporting.

I hired CHS Construction Remodeling to renovate my master bathroom and guest bathroom, and they did an incredible job! They installed beautiful flooring and stunning vanity tops that completely transformed the space. The results look amazing! The team was reliable, professional, and easy to work with, all while offering a great price. I couldn’t be happier with their work and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality remodeling services!

Nivardo and his team were fantastic! They finished the inside of a backyard studio. They were quick, did exactly what they said they were going to, and were very communicative. I am already looking for other projects for them as I feel like I finally found a team that was reliable, knowledgeable, and fairly priced!

Nivardo and his team did a great job installing LVP on my staircase and loft. There was a hiccup with some materials coming in, but he maintained great communication throughout the whole process. I’ve heard horror stories of contractors disappearing mid-project, but I never once had that concern dealing with Nivardo. They did an excellent job and I am looking forward to having them do some more work around my house in the future.

A couple months ago I got a Trex Foggy Wharf deck installed at a 45 degree angle with a Trex Clamshell boarder, and I absolutely love it! It’s a 32x12ft deck. I got a ton of contractors out to quote the job and ALFA Home Improvements were by far the most genuine, experienced, affordable, and prepared contractor. I couldn’t recommend them more for any home improvements you may have. I will definitely use them on future projects!

Alfa home improvement just completed a redue of the area in our day lite basement where we had a new furnace installed. The was floor tile to install , wall board to replace , metal corners to install , sheet rock mudding , sanding , and paint. In addition Niva installed a new deck post using his laser system to make sure things were level. He also reset an outside electric box that was loose from a deck post.last project was to repair a long crack in my garage floor. This is A great home improvement contractor. The thing I like most was the quality of his work, the way he covered the floors and walls to protect the adjacent area to his work area. The work area was cleaned up spotless each day. Thank for a great job

Nivardo and his team turned my bay window which was pretty useless into a beautiful open-air sunroom. They were professional, listened to me as we discussed different aspects of the build, and in general, were a pleasure to work with. The work was high quality -- easily passing inspections. Costs were as expected and all add-ons were discussed and captured via addendums so no issues with final total. I would highly recommend Nivardo and his team and would definitely hire them again should the need arise.

We love what Navardo and his team did to our home. Full extension on our patio with new concrete, firewood shed, main shed, built a fence around our property, painted the entire house. Top notch quality and reasonable prices. We will be going through an interior remodel with Navardo in our near future.

Nivardo and his team are great! They replaced my front walkway last year and I brought them back to complete my back deck last month. Very reliable. They listened to my needs and offered exactly what I asked for, making sure all details were thought out. The cost of the project was competitive too. I fully trust them and their work, they operate with honesty and integrity. They also go above and beyond… they were caulking an area and saw other things on my home that needed caulking (not related to the job I was paying them for) and they just took care of it. I highly recommend Alfa Home Improvements!
