Fantastic customer service! I had a furnace issue, called late morning and they fit me in for diagnostic right away. Technician was extremely knowledgable, walked me thru everything he found - unfortunately needed a new furnace (was 24 years old anyways), got it scheduled and installed within 24 hours as everything was in the warehouse (probably got lucky on what we needed). Overall excellent customer service, from scheduling to diagnostic, to installation. Highly recommend.

I worked with Joel and his team at Best Owner Direct HVAC to install a central heat pump unit. I was initially hesitant about the slightly higher cost but am completely blown away by the new unit, which is incredibly quiet, has a miniscule footprint on my side yard, and costs less to run than both my current forced air natural gas heating system and a traditional central forced air AC unit. I now have the flexibility to run 99% of both my heating/cooling needs on my brand new, ultra-efficient and lower-cost heat pump while retaining the emergency heat capabilities of my traditional natural gas system. It's a win-win-win all around for me.

WOW! So impressed with so many aspects of this company. We had an animal die under the house in and could smell it coming out of the vents. When I called around, pest control was weeks out and Best Owner Direct was able to come the next day. Our technician, Danny was absolutely INCREDIBLE! Very professional, kind and made sure we had the problem taken care of the same day so we could breathe again! I look forward to continuing to work with them in the future for our HVAC needs.

The technician Adrian was knowledgeable and friendly. Got right to it and told me what I needed to know about the HVAC system.

Danny came out on a Saturday to diagnosis and fix my mom’s hvac unit. He was able to quickly determine what the problem was and had all the parts to complete the repair right then. His communication was clear and did a really good job helping us understand what caused the issue. I would definitely recommend him and will be calling his company with any needs in the future. From sales, to installation, to crisis management, this company is the best. We just had a new heat pump installed about a month ago, and now we're using the unit more (the heat wave hit). We noticed water dripping in two places, and initially thought it was a plumbing issue. Upon further inspection I suspected it was the air handler. I called Joel (sales guy) who IMMEDIATELY responded with solutions. Then the owner (Kevin) came out and assessed the entire problem.

It turns out it was a manufacturer defect (these things happen), but there is a lot of damage to my house. Kevin explained everything, reassured me about them fixing it all, and has arranged for all of the other repairs to be handled immediately. Even the same day, we're having a crew come out to begin fixing everything before mold can grow.

Their communication, expertise, and problem-solving skills are more than I expected from any business. I'm grateful that I chose this company, and will refer them to everyone.

Best owner direct HVAC is a great company with great people working for them. They were straight up with us throughout the whole process of deciding to repair or replace our furnace and AC. The customer service is great and the installers did a great job with the attention to detail. Highly recommend!

These folks are all about efficiency and communication. Gabriel the installer talked me through the options for unit placement inside and out. He asked for clarification to ensure we were on the same page. The electrician (sorry I didn't catch his name) was equally skilled at communication and made sure I understood what his plan was for utilizing an already near full 200 amp service panel.
The completed job looks great and shows the care taken to demonstrate pride in craftsmanship. From the estimator to the installer and the office staff, every step of the process was professional and considerate. And . . . their bid was highly competitive. Thanks for a very pleasant experience.

Kevin has been to my house twice to complete some maintenance on my AC and to troubleshoot an issue with my heater. He is very polite, determined to get the job done, and did a great job.

I’ve been extremely happy with Best Owner Direct (BOD). They replaced an older gas furnace with a heat pump, which gave us central AC as well. PGE has a heat pump engineer who came out after the BOD installation and inspected the work and capacity planning and found everything was done well. When there was a small leak in the interior water pump BOD was out here the same day to fix it and it’s been working flawlessly since. Heat pump quotes are all over the place and BOD provided a competitive/affordable price. The heat pump is very efficient: With a 3600w solar array we paid zero for the AC this past summer. When overnight temperatures are around 40F our electric heat bill is just several dollars a day (2400 sqft 1937 home, 75% upgraded with contemporary insulation; all new windows). When temperatures dip into the 30sF or below freezing auxiliary heating coils in the air handler are activated and that can raise the electric bill to between $5-$10 a day. But we are very pleased with the price/performance of the system; and BOD offers a reasonable maintenance plan too. To make a long story short, I’m referring BOD to friends and neighbors as a great HVAC/heat pump installer. And that’s probably the best review one can make.

BOD service Tech, Kevin, came as promissed and checked many aspects of system operation. All items checked out and he was satisfied that the system was operating just fine. His care and concern and knowledge was top notch and made me feel confident that my system was being cared for.

Can't really answer the questions below since Adrien did not perform a service becuase we need a whole new system. Joel showed up and did a great job explaining the different options.

Came out in the middle of summer last August to repair a section of duct that was broken/ripped and cooling the crawlspace instead of my house. They were efficient and got the job done for a good price.
