Landscaping reviews in Cornelius, Oregon

The staff working for Forest Landscape are wonderful. Polite, friendly, and very professional in all the aspects of landscaping. I had a total redo of my entire yard front and back and side. They installed a beautiful patio, an irrigation system, a beautiful gravel path from the front walkway all the way around to the back yard and installed a nice gravel sitting area under the trellis. They planted all trees and shrubs and finished up with a dressing of hemlock barkdust. Could not be more pleased with the final results. My niece recommended the family owned business to me and I recommend them to you for top-notch quality!

We have used Forest Landscape for numerous projects over nearly a decade including installing an irrigation system, a retaining wall with large stones, another with landscape blocks, patio pavers and others. They have always done outstanding work. And, they stand by their work. Whenever something needs attention, they come back and take care of it. Jose, Rigo and Alex are all super professional, expert, and dedicated workers. Their work always surpasses are expectations and that's why we keep asking them to come back for new projects.

Forest Landscape installed a 6' chain link fence and a decorative picket fence in front yard. I just got a new dog and needed a secure backyard. They did a very professional job and extremely efficient and polite. These guys even worked in the pouring down rain to get the job done on time. I had three other estimates and all were within $100 of each other so the real deciding factor was who could give me the earliest start date as my dog's safety and containment were top priority and I explained that to all of them. Forest Landscape was the only company that seemed to understand the urgency. One large Portland fence company actually tried to tell me "the way construction works is I send them 1/2 the $ and then the scheduler will get around to it at sometime". Couldn't even give me a window of time! Thank you Forest Landscape for a job well done!

Forest Landscape just completed a total backyard remodel for me. I really enjoyed working with them. In particular, I liked that they do everything! They can do concrete and landscape work. My yard project consisted of a 700 s.f. broom-finish concrete patio, quarter-minus stairs along the side of the house, extensive drainage along the patio and down around the side of the yard, laying new sod, and a river rock border around the yard and patio.

I worked with Jose to create the project. He was very easy and enjoyable to work with. Extremely personable and responsive. He communicated really well throughout the entire project, be it email, phone or text. Jose understood my vision and helped me make the best decisions for my yard and my budget.

I'm looking forward to visiting their nursery next.

Hopefully they treat their customers better than they do their neighbors. I won't send a picture so I don't get retaliated against. They have bright green trucks that are parked in front of my house all the time. Partially blocking my driveway and then waking me up early in the morning when they fire it up to leave. This company should have a lot to park their vehicles in or the employees should have a spot in their own driveway or garage rather than making trouble for homeowners in a private neighborhood. I will definitely not be hiring them or recommending them for any of my companies or homes landscaping needs.

Forest Landscape is a first rate landscaping business! All of their staff are great communicators, friendly, on time and follow through on all questions. They always leave the site looking pristine at the end! They use high quality materials and follow the design very carefully. I’m very happy with the outcome and would definitely use them again for a future project!!!

We had a fabulous experience. We had a retaining wall and fence built as well as extended our patio. We couldn’t be any happier. It turned out fantastic, better than we had hoped! Everyone who walks by comments on how beautiful it looks. Danny, Alex and the rest of the crew were really wonderful, polite and accommodating. They worked very hard on our job and we really appreciate the workmanship. All top quality. We highly recommend Forest Landscape!

The Forest Landscape team is first-class. I loved using them for our yard project. The project managers were very responsive, friendly, clear, punctual, professional, and competent. The workers worked very fast, and the work was high-quality and first-rate. I would absolutely work with them again, it was a pleasure, and their work was great. I highly recommend them.

We have a major water feature in our back yard, with 4 cascading waterfalls. It was full of debris, algae and various growths. We had Forest clean it - they were booked out quite a way, but got us squeezed in somehow, and did an extremely thorough job of cleaning and powerwashing. It now looks pristine and beautiful. I would highly recommend them.

Very professional crew. They did a great job pulling a bunch of stumps and laying a new concrete pad.

Working with Rigo and Jose Castenada was one of the best decisions our family has ever made. They were punctual, professional and great communicators throughout the whole process. Would 100% use them again, but we already have our dream backyard now! 😎 Thank you Forest Landscape 😀

Jose, Rigo and crew did a great job on multiple different projects around 2 of my properties. They generally are not the cheapest person I have had give me bids, but nor the most expensive. However, their quality speaks for itself and had me return as a customer when I needed a large paver project done.

Forest Landscape has consistently provided quality, professional service. They completely re-landscaped our backyard and have provided additional services since. Will continue to use them as needed.

Jose, Rigo, and the rest of the team at Forest were great! Very professional. They communicated throughout the entire process, did excellent work, and took the extra time at the end of the project to make sure everything was cleaned up. I would highly recommend the team at Forest for any type of landscape project!

We recently expanded a deck, added a patio cover, and are putting a hot tub underneath this second floor deck. There was a concrete patio below the existing deck and we wanted to match that, w/ reinforcement for a hot tub. We got a couple bids for the job. Danny was the estimator that came out for Forest and he seemed knowledgeable and was punctual and professional. It was not the cheapest bid ($6600 for a 13'X16' 4" concrete patio w/ hot tub reinforcement), but the company is much more well established than a couple others we consulted so I put more trust in their work.

Rigo is the guy we needed to work with on scheduling etc. for concrete work. This was a little rocky at first, but that had a lot to do with us needing to postpone the start till our deck was done, but then also work around a vacation we'd be taking, and make sure the concrete had enough time to cure before our hot tub is dropped. Despite a slight language barrier, we worked it out and even managed to get it done ahead of when we originally scheduled it.

Punctuality is impressive with these guys. For 3 days they were waiting outside our house to start at 7:30am precisely. They had to remove a portion of fence and work around some foliage for access. They ended up encountering an unexpected drainage tube of some kind while digging and made sure to create an access point for us if it's ever needed in the future. The concrete looks great and matches our old patio so well, it's hard to tell they weren't poured together. Danny and I (and later Rigo) discussed treating the old concrete to help the matching.

At the end of the work they did a great job of cleaning up the area and returning everything to normal. Rigo also helped us by showing us how to remove the fence portion for when our hot tub is delivered and left the top cap off because he said we'd really struggle to get it off if they put it back.

I'm happy with the work, communication, and cleanup and trust if there are any problems I will be able to get them resolved. If we have further landscape needs in the future I will def be calling Forest for a bid.

(first pic is a before pic and the others show the result)

Forest Landscape did a complete redo of my front and rear yards. This included removing and replacing all the hardscape features and all of the landscaping features. All work was completed in a workman like manner, timely with clean up daily. The project was completed in 10 weeks with only about a 10% cost overrun. Very good considering the size and scope of the project. I would highly recommend Forest Landscape for your landscape or hardscape project. I am very pleased with the final product and have already received many compliments from neighbors.

I recently had Forest Landscaping complete another project at my home. They are always reliable and creative! The crews are friendly and fun to interact with on the project. They are always my first call, I’ve been working with them for one large and several small project over the last 25 years. So great to watch their business grow with this had working family.

We heard of Forest Landscape after visiting a friend who had an area in their backyard transformed into a beautiful stone deck and retaining wall and were hopeful to learn they also build fences, as we desperately needed ours replaced. We are very grateful for the amazing, professional, efficient care and skill they put into their work and are blown away by the completed fence and gate! Our yard feels like a new and improved, private and secured place and we can’t wait to connect with Forest Landscape again for a future home improvement!

This team is responsive and reliable. The accuracy and attention to details is impressive. After they repaired a road problem, you could hardly tell they were there. Everything was is good order, cleaned up, sorted out and as I’d hoped for. I feel they go a bit beyond other crews, who might just be trying to “get by”. Will always call them again for projects in the future.

Forest Landscape is hands down one of my favorite companies to work with. Jose and Rigo are outstanding people and true professionals, and I’ve built a great working relationship with them over multiple projects.

One of the most impressive jobs they completed for me was a large footing scope for a massive deck in the Southwest Hills of Portland. Their crew hand dug extremely large footing holes, some over six feet deep and several feet wide, all the way down to native soil. No heavy equipment. Just hard work, precision, and care. The quality of their work made it possible for us to pour solid footings and confidently support a very large deck structure.

They have also helped us with smaller concrete footing work in crawl spaces, which is never easy, and they consistently show the same level of effort and attention to detail regardless of job size.

What really sets Forest Landscape apart is their reliability. I was once in a serious pinch on a project after underground plumbing work when I suddenly had no one lined up to pour concrete in a basement garage area. I reached out to Jose last minute, knowing it was a long shot. Even with a tight schedule, they found a way to come through. It cost a little more, which was completely fair, and it kept the project on track. That kind of support is invaluable.

Beyond the work itself, Jose and Rigo run their company with pride. Their crew is hardworking, respectful, and friendly. Their vehicles are clean, professional, and well maintained. They are family oriented, honest, and they stand by their word, which goes a long way in this industry.

I truly appreciate everything Forest Landscape has done for me and my projects, and I look forward to continuing to work with them for years to come. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for dependable, high quality concrete and landscape related work.

Alex and his crew were amazing. At the beginning and throughout the whole project I felt that they carefully listened to what I wanted and followed through, and when they needed clarification, they did not assume, but instead asked for my input.
The quality of their work was excellent. They gave good suggestions, but also made sure that they honored that it was my place with what I needed for the landscape to work for me. I highly recommend them.
This project was a pleasure to experience! No hard sell, stayed in budget and I got exactly what I wanted and needed. Again, I can't say enough for Alex and his crew (thanks guys) I'm very happy.
