We hired Cross Town Movers and Storage to move a single, heavy, wooden piece. They were unable to move it into the home the first day and brought a second crew back a few days later. The move was disappointing because the second crew made no effort lift the piece at all and instead used a dolly to move it into the garage. I was told it was too heavy (true concern) and would not fit through a door frame (patently false). They charged us for both crews which seems disingenuous when it seems as though the first should have dropped it in the garage if they felt their company would be unable to get it up the stairs on a subsequent trip. To their credit, they did discount 2 of the 4 movers who we paid to drive back to our house and drop off the piece using a dolly. But on the other side of things - they rounded up to 1 hour on their 15 minute job. I think it's worth noting they had the piece in their warehouse to begin with and were aware of all dimensions and weight. We hired another local moving company who completed the job in 1 hour the following day with 4 men. I would encourage folks looking for moving services to explore some of the other great local moving companies.

We had Cross Town Movers move some appliances and larger pieces of furniture for us today. Chance and Wyatt were great. They were efficient and methodical. They seemed to work together very well as a team. They were friendly and conversational while working but it didn't slow them down. They asked us lots of questions to make sure they were doing what we needed. Care was taken to ensure things were handled appropriately. I would happily recommend them and use their services again.

I used Crosstown for helping move my items from my apartment into a U-Pack shipping container. Reuben and Josh G. were professional, courteous, and experts at playing Tetris with my items so that they fit into the shipping container (with room to spare, which I did not think was possible!). They were very friendly and efficient—I would not hesitate to use Crosstown again.
