I called Crosstown Mover's to help me with my move. I'm single and a senior so I needed some additional help with packing and then moving my items about a mile away to a new apartment. Leo and Kyle came at 10:00a & left at 8:30p that night.

tI would never use the services of Cross Town Movers again. I hired Cross Town Movers in Dec 2024 to move my possessions into storage. I leased a large storage unit and the unit was stacked 90% full. I was rummaging around looking for a few things late this summer and discovered the top part of a tri-fold East Indian wooden screen that had been broken off and cleverly tucked away. Mind you, this piece is a family heirloom. I was upset to find this but a bit relieved that at least I had the part in order to try to have the screen repaired. When it came time to move out of storage this October, I used another mover and when those movers got to the tri-fold screen they asked me if I was aware of the damaged piece. I looked at the damage only to find there was another top broken off the screen. The movers looked everywhere for that top but it was gone. Employees of Cross Town Movers (CTM) had made an heirloom virtually worthless. A few weeks ago I contacted CTM in order to give them an opportunity to make things right somehow before I wrote a review. I have heard nothing. Granted, according to the contract signed with CTW, I had 30 days (?) to make any complaints or notations of damage. How was I going to possibly know that something stored in the back of a large unit was damaged until I was ready to move out? I would have much preferred that the movers come to me directly, at the time, and told me about the broken screen – it would’ve been the honest thing to do. And for CTM to ignore a customers complaint is just unprofessional and unbusiness-like. At the very least, they should refund me the moving expenses. Save yourself the aggravation – use another moving company.

Cross Town Movers are solid. Wyatt and Chance actually moving day fun. They were professional, efficient and careful and really nice people. And we had a sudden need for shifting around appliances and Cross Town found time to squeeze in this last minute need. Top notch moving company.

Update: Zero compensation for Cross Town Movers destroying my things. So much for their deep concern and desire to make things right!

This company was hired by Zippy Shell to pack and load the contents of my clean, neatly organized 5x10’ storage unit for shipping. I hesitated because I wouldn’t be there to ensure things were properly packed, and many of the items were highly sentimental to me. The Zippy Shell rep assured me that these movers were professionals and that they would wrap and cushion everything for the cross-country drive.

The movers used zero common sense. A few items were partially wrapped loosely with paper, no bubble wrap or plastic or moving blankets, and nothing was cushioned at all. Completely ineffective. They were aggressively careless: everything had been tossed carelessly into the pod as if it were a dumpster headed for the landfill.

Unsurprisingly, everything arrived scratched, scuffed, beat up, filthy and, in some cases, completely destroyed.

They broke a cabinet by trying to move it while still fully loaded. The collapsed cabinet then crushed everything inside and scattered contents around the filthy floor, including the stereo which was somehow not wrapped. What kind of mover doesn't wrap a stereo for transport??

I don't know the names of the movers, but have added a photo of them with the broken cabinet.

Everything had been in like-new condition prior to the move, or I wouldn’t have paid to store it in a clean, climate-controlled storage unit for five years, additionally paying Zippy Shell $4,000 to have it shipped to me.

I wouldn’t recommend this company unless you’re shipping old tires or anything that can’t possibly be damaged. My money basically went to having my things destroyed. I’ve moved many times in my life and have never had such a devastating experience.

I've used Cross Town Movers several times, they are the first company I think of when I need something moved. I have moved swing sets, and furniture, in my house and outside my house to be reupholstered professionally.

Jose and Reuben worked with us today to move all our furniture back in place after having our wood floors refinished. Super professional and conscientious about what they were doing while they were here.

They went the extra step to make sure everything got done to our satisfaction.

I would definitely hire them again for any moving needs I have.

Nathan and Wyatt came out to pick up at 220 lb sofa couch. Perfectly punctual. Really friendly, professional, and made the lifting look effortless. Great attitudes. Would definitely recommend based on this experience.

Charlie and Wyatt did a great job moving a piece of heavy furniture from one room, up a steep set of stairs and around a tight corner to another room. We are really happy with their work!

Chance and Wyatt were very personable, easy going and very much on task. They did a great job during a stressful time. They just loaded my things so we’re only half way through but to date, I recommend Bekins as a move any day and hope you will give them the opportunity to prove that.

I used cross town movers last week to move from one second story apartment to another and I am SO glad I did! I debated for weeks whether to use a moving company or not and I am grateful I chose cross town movers.

Brandon and Anthony were the absolute best. They were so patient, kind and easy to work with. Moving in general is stressful and even more so with pets. I was able to just focus on my dog while they took care of everything. I had my things mostly packed but they made sure the things I didn’t pack up weren’t damaged. They were fast, efficient, and relieved any anxiety I had.

I am so appreciative of both of them and will most definitely use cross town again :)

Good, trustworthy movers. They did a move for me within Eugene of a 2 bedroom house. They were careful with our belongings, but didn't waste time. If you do your part and have your belongings reasonably boxed up, they can do the rest pretty quickly. They showed up at 9:00am and were finished by ~noon. It cost ~$600 for the whole move. They made it a cheap, stress-free move for my family.

I hope other folks take this review seriously, since I've also had a variety of really bad moving experiences too. These guys are legit, and are locals with a real office in west Eugene so they have a vested interest in maintaining their reputation through good work. Additionally, they aren't pushy with booking the move, just very matter-of-fact, and *easy to contact*.

I highly recommend cross-town movers to anyone looking for a short-range move, especially within Eugene.

Scheduling was easy, and communication was excellent. Our move from Eugene to the Portland area went smoothly thanks to Nate and Jonathon. They arrived right on time and were friendly, careful, and thorough from start to finish. They packed everything expertly, set up the furniture in the new place, and checked in to make sure each item was exactly where we wanted it. Highly recommend!

Admittedly, we didn’t know what to expect or what information to tell these guys when we signed up for service, so the process took much longer than expected. But that was entirely our fault! And even when they saw everything that needed to be done, both Leo and Kyle were incredibly open to the process and kept a bright disposition the whole time! So even with our missteps, these guys made our move a positive experience. 10/10 would recommend

Anthony, Jesse and Josh moved much of our household goods from Grants Pass to Salem. Part of the load was a heavy antique piano and they successfully problem solved how to maneuver through a very tight space. They made stops between 2 houses and 2 storage units with no issues or problems. It was a long day and they remained polite, efficient and took great care with our furnishings and boxes. Highly recommend!
