The clog was successfully cleared. The technician was courteous and appeared knowledgeable. I was disappointed however when I learned that the $180.00 minimum charge to unclog a drain, which I was quoted 24 hours prior, became $225.00 because he had to go on the roof to perform the task. I have a clean-out fully accessible under the sink but the tech chose not to use it and go on the roof telling me it would be an additional $45.00. I only expect honesty and I don't feel I was afforded that privilege. I will likely call someone else for future plumbing needs.

I called to get a quote to replace a leaking water heater. I was told the cost would be $206/hr for about 5 hours. 2 guys came out the next day and removed the old water heater. They then told me that (among other things) the actual cost for this job was $2600. I was astounded and in shock. At this point I had no water heater and they had shut off the water to the whole house. I was over a barrel as they say. I couldn’t tell them to leave but I also didn’t think it was fair to pay more than quoted. The whole thing smelled of entrapment. The long and short of it is I sent them $1030 the amount they quoted me, along with an explanatory letter. Now they expect me to pay the rest of the $2600. This is unfair. You can’t just raise the price in the middle of a job. The guys did a good job but the point is they never would have been hired had I been given the $2600 quote in the first place. Watch out and make sure you are quoted correctly.

Bought and had installed from Baxters 2019. Call end of September for problem not heating. They said they couldn't get here " a local restaurant " for over a week. We had to call another plumber. The new plumber said
It needed replaced! When I called and talked to owner, she told me the warranty was void because " we had another company look at it"?!
I would AVOID BAXTERS PLUMBING at all cost!

Tried to upsell jetting our line before even trying to snake it. $190 00 for 20 minutes of snaking. Wanted $495.00 for jetting. This happens about 1 time a year and usually my husband clears it with a bladder but he's out of town. Baxter's cleared it another time no problem. Guess they sent the wrong guy this time or just wanted more money. Be careful who you hire.

I hired Baxter Plumbing for two jobs. One was a tub and shower install and the other was a toilet install.

On the toilet install I requested that they use a flange spacer for a better toilet seal. However, when I replaced the toilet last weekend, I noticed that they did not add the spacer as I had asked.

I called the office to ask for an adjustment to the bill and Tracy was very rude. I told her that I had done research online about how a spacer is a secure way to add height to a recessed closet flange and she sarcastically said to someone else in the office - Oh, he went to the online messaging boards.

She then told me that despite my explicit request, the plumber knows what they’re doing and they would not adjust the bill.
She also told me that I should have combed through the invoice within 30 days to ensure that the part was included.

I’ve also had issues with our bathtub creaking and settling - which has caused a gap between the tub and the grout. So I checked out under the tub and noticed they didn’t use mortar when they set it - which it clearly states to use in the manufacturers instructions.

Overall, I was offered a half hour of free labor on the next job. Unfortunately, it was too big of a headache for me to justify using them again.

I explained in detail that I needed to snake the main outet. I was quoted $160. I repeated the quote and asked if that was correct for snaking the main outlet not just to show up. I was assured that was the cost price by Tracy. Scotty showed up 1 1/2 hrs later. But instead of snaking as I had requested, he took my hose and ran my hose down the main outlet in an attempt to clear the line. When it looked like things were running good, he told me he would charge me $160, for using my hose and not snaking it. He told me in order to snake it, it would cost me $226. I told him I was quoted $160. He made several excuses blaming the office secretary for the different price but added that other clients also told him of being quoted a different price, that this wasn't the first time he heard this. I told him that then the office staff should know the correct prices. He blamed the secretary for being ignorant. Claiming that the $160 was if he snaked the toilet. I told him that I specifically asked for the cost to snake the main outlet. When he asked me who told me the quote, I told him Tracy. Turns out Tracy is the owner. Being as I had out of town company, I finally agreed. I told him it usually needed to be done 100 feet. He did maybe 50. Then tried to manipulate me to have him run a camera down the line which would be an additional $ 350 more in addition to the $226 to snake the line claiming that I propably needed to excavate and lay new piping. I paid the $226 in protest, advising that quoting one price and then charging another makes them liars and they should adhere to what the owner quoted me. He then showed me on his laptop the price sheet he has for the various jobs. Funny how the person who quoted me the $160 doesn't know those prices. He advised me that he'd have Tracy call me. She did not. I called Peterson's Plumbing who refered me to Baxter to let them know that they bait and switched me. They advised they would no longer be referring Baxter to other clients.

Tracy, the ONLY way that I would know your name, is because you told me your name when I called and then told me your name again when you called me back to advise that the plummer was on the way.
Scotty DID tell me when I protested his wanting to charge a higher cost, that I wasn't the first person to tell him that they were quoted lower, that other clients also had told him they were quoted a lower price.
You did bait and switch. And that's on you.

I have never used their plumbing services.

That being said, when one of your employees is driving one of your company vehicles with your company logo on it they are directly representing your company. That means that when they merge him properly and nearly cause an accident on the beltline in Eugene, it is effectively saying that you do not have properly trained drivers operating your vehicles.

That is the reason for this bad review. If you come back with a snarky response, I’m going to upload the dash cam footage from my vehicle to this review. Just accept it And move on.

I had them come out to diagnose and repair a leak from our upstairs bathtub. One of the plumbers was very snappy and difficult to communicate with. They cut a hole in my ceiling and charged me $200 and left me with no answers and a big hole to repair. I ended up having a contractor friend come and he was able to diagnose and fix the issue. I called and spoke with Tracy the owner about my negative experience and was met with an argumentative response from her. I hate leaving bad reviews but I received very bad customer service. *Edit* I knew she would reply on here and further argue with me. Putting words in my mouth and discrediting my experience.
