Attention to all consumers beware of FIRE INDUSTRY RESTORATION EXPERTS (owner GREG PHILO). We had a negative experience with this company. If you need to have any work done such as home repair or any construction work please do not sign their contract without first hiring a lawyer to read or prepare the contract or even better just avoid this company altogether. We hired FIRE INDUSTRY RESTORATION EXPERTS after a fire totally destroyed our home. As a result of their dishonesty we took F.I.R.E to ARBITRATION in an attempt to settle the matter. We won but, because of a legal technicality, (and since we didn't have a Lawyer, we could not afford to pay one) FIRE INDUSTRY RESTORATION EXPERTS did not have to pay the arbitration award nor did they have to complete the work they billed and received payment for from our insurance company. We at least proved that not all consumers will let them get away with cheating the people they are supposed to help. We warn you to please avoid the sweet talk of the owner or his employees, especially when he tells you that Greg Philo was a fire Marshall and he employs the wife of another fire Marshall. This is how they lull you into feeling you can trust them. Someone else made a similar complaint on BBB, which we did not discover until after we started having issues and began investigating the company. So please verify any company before you hire them, even if they come as a recommendation from someone you believe you can trust. Please call CCB AND BBB to verify the credibility of the company and the owner of the company.

Good experience, overall. I'm happy with both the restoration work and upgrades to finish carpentry, HVAC, shower doors and tile. There were a few bumps in the road/delays with subcontractors, but I was kept well informed. I feel Greg did a good job of advocating for me with my insurance agent (when prelim estimates listed a lower-grade roofing material, for example), and am happy with the end results.

If I need a rebuild again, I will select FIRE to do the work. Scott was reliable, told me when things would happen and they did! Theresa kept me informed about insurance and financial aspects. The rebuild was completed within 10 months which was less than expected.

Scott and company were fabulous to work with. I couldn’t have gotten through the process without him and the other professionals at FIRE. They work with great contractors and were more than I could ask for when maximizing insurance coverage. If you have the unfortunate experience of suffering a fire loss the crew at FIRE are the professionals you want to get you through it.

These people are truly "Experts" at what they do. They helped us through a bad broken pipe flood abatement and restoration. Every member of their staff was helpful and courteous throughout the process. They showed up and started the cleanup/dry out process in a less than two hours from my call and where there for us right up to us getting us back into our home.
They walked us though the entire process upfront, including what to expect from and helping deal with insurance company.

If you experience fire or water damage, I highly recommend you call Fire Industry Restoration Experts ASAP.

This team is fantastic and very knowledgeable. We had an unexpected main drain clog that created quite a mess in our basement. They were hugely helpful in mitigating additional damage and helped provide guidance to prevent this sort of issue from happening in the future. Much appreciated!

After a house fire I waited almost three days for Service Team of Professionals (STOP) to come finish the board up job they started which left the hole in my roof that remained exposed through overnight rains. F.I.R.E. came to the house within the hour we contacted them and had the roof covered within the following hour. When I asked to meet the project manager that would actually lead my project, John, I was able to meet him the same day which other companies avoided. As a design professional I have high standards and a high level of construction/design knowledge. John was always there to hear any input I had and to make sure that the job was being executed to my expectations and standards. He was attentive, detail oriented and accountable - really the best you can hope for. It made the process of being displaced and rebuilding much smoother. Troy was excellent at doing the estimate with my insurance claims representative and submitting any items of discovery to ensure I got full coverage of my claim. Teresa was fantastic at helping manage and communicate with my mortgage company, which changed hands midway through the project. I have recommended Greg and his team, especially John, for several projects already and stand by that. I'm back in my house and have no issues or complaints in construction quality, timeline, or follow-up. Thanks team!

We have used them for several emergencies and have experienced top notch service. The crew has always gone out of their way to get to our properties immediately and have great communication. Having them deal directly with the insurance company is a life saver. Highly recommend.

Can't say enough about FIRE Restoration. We had a toilet flooding in our building and they were on site so quickly. Clark and Joel were really nice, professional and fun guys to work with. I will be calling them without hesitation the next time I need something like this.

consistently professional and provided high quality workmanship while rebuilding our home. Matt was always quick to respond to questions and concerns and was always available to help. The subcontractors and additional workmen were all wonderful as well. We don’t hesitate to give F.I.R.E. Restoration our highest possible recommendation. We will really miss everyone!

Clark and crew have been nothing short of incredible. I’ve had the misfortune of 2 different floods in my basement, which they’ve mitigated for me. Yes, the first flood was devastating, but the silver lining of the second was already knowing an efficient resource I could reach out to without hesitation or worry - no sketchy contractors, unnecessary delays or unpredictable quality. They’ve gone above and beyond for me and I couldn’t be more grateful. Best in the business! Greg and his team did an outstanding job restoring my house into better condition than before it burned. They worked on a house for me 20 years ago and still do the same high quality work they did back then. Every thing they said they would do got done on time and they are excellent communicators to keep you up to date on the progress. Scott supervised the whole project and did a super job. I highly recommend them.

We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND F.I.R.E. Industries to do any remodel/repair work to your home, they are VERY PROFESSIONAL and Matt Hayes who we worked with is a stand up guy and always stayed in touch with us every step of the way and there were never any surprises. All of their work and their sub contractors are very professional and treated us and our home with respect and did a AMAZING JOB, I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone.

This past year I had 2 water pipes break, 5 weeks apart, causing extensive damage to my downstairs.
The first incident was relatively minor. I called my insurance company and asked about water damage clean up companies. They gave me the names of 3 companies, 2 were huge, national companies that everyone has heard of, the third was FIRE Restoration. The 2 large companies were too busy to help me, saying it would be weeks. I then called FIRE Restoration, a local company, and talked to Clark. He had a crew out at my house that afternoon and they started the water and damage mitigation. They pulled up the carpet and got everything dried up nicely.
5 weeks later another pipe burst causing extensive damage. I called Clark directly and once again he had a crew at my house the same day. The FIRE crew had to cut into the walls and ceiling and pull up all the flooring. They got all damaged areas cleaned up and dried out.
Clark also dealt directly with my insurance company and supervised the rebuild of all the damages areas. I can't say enough good things about this company, they were a God send. They have top notch employees and top notch equipment. Although I hope to not need them again, if disaster calls I'll be calling FIRE Restoration again.

We had 2 major wind claims and Fire industry Restoration experts did an amazing job both times and even helped with the insurance company that was a massive pain to deal with. Thank you Scott, Tarisa and Greg and the rest of the team for all your hard work.

So glad we called Fire Industry Restoration Experts when our dishwasher leaked. There was more damage then we realized. Clark was quick to respond and act to minimize damage. Joel was our project manager. He is very down to earth and did all he could to make sure we were taken care of and got the most from our budget. He listened and was flexible when I had imput or ideas. When issues popped up he was quick to resolve them. Every employee sent to my home was kind , professional, and trustworthy. Dustin, Will, Garrett, and Colin as well as the roofer Chuey and plumber Josiah. I would reccomend and hire every one of them again. It's so nice to work with individuals who have integrity and treat you like a person not a job.

It’s always stressful when something major happens to your home. But, after making a call to Fire Restoration, the stress and panic quickly faded. What great people! They handled everything with great care and thoroughness. We felt so cared for, as they took over restoring every detail. So thankful to the team and especially Aaron for making our home beautiful!!!

I’d give Fire Restoration more than 5 stars if I could! Clark inspected water damage at my house within half an hour after I called him about flooding in my laundry room. Then he began mitigation soon after, working quickly to remove damaged flooring and drywall and set up fans, which resulted in complete prevention of mold issues. At every step, he was efficient and thorough, always keeping me informed about the process.
Then he worked with the rebuild contractor to facilitate a smooth transition, and he communicated effectively with the insurance adjuster, so I received the claim payment a day after the claim was submitted!

I experienced a house fire December of 2024. Fire Industry was the company that boared up my windows the night of the fire. The next day one of their consultants took my wife and I out to lunch and went through our policy with us and gave me a direction on how to navigate this difficult time. The company has amazing people that work for them. From project managers to finish carpenters plus Teresa that deals with all the paperwork and finances. It took the company just a little over a year from start to finish of the restoration for my family to be able to move back into our home

Fire Restoration was wonderful to work with. I experienced a garage fire and I am so glad someone recommended them to me. They were timely in responses and even helped coordinate with my insurance company. Joel did an excellent job of managing the project and communicating with me about the progress, I would have been lost without his guidance. I highly recommend them to anyone going through something similar.
