Tom and his apprentice did an amazing job and were both knowledgeable and informative! 1000% reccomend this company! My family will stay warm this winter thanks to Orient electric.

They did a good job on some things but completely skipped other parts of the scope. Poor communication throughout the entire project and no accountability from management.

They also just wrote “lights & outlets” — large and in ink — on almost every breaker in my brand new panel 😆 so I had to spend a couple hours figuring out *which lights* and *which outlets* went to what/where everything else wasn’t a light or outlet connected and relabel everything myself.

Just sloppy. Would not hire again.

Spencer, Jimmy, David & Austin did great work replacing a couple lift station pumps for the Oregon Trail School District. They installed a new control panel and explosion proof splice box in the lift station itself. Great communication, Quick & Clean work throughout the entire process.

We love Orient Electric but this last visit was a little painful. We had an outlet go bad in a 900 sq ft 100 yr old cabin. It took our electrician four hours to trouble shoot it and finally get it working again.

Alex and Justin were just great, very professional and kind. They did a wonderful job converting my fluorescent garage light fixtures to LED. They explained everything and were easy to talk to. Well done!

Tom Gunn and Tracy (sp?) were earlier than expected and that was a plus. Both were very personable (gave our dog lots of love) and easy going. They replaced two bathroom fans--one with a light--in less time than I thought it would take. Working with Orient Electric was a pleasure and will definitely use them again.

Reece with Orient Electric was able to find and correct our electrical issue very quickly, Orient Electric was very responsive as they sent Reese to our residence the next morning after calling them. My mother who just recently had a positive experience with Orient Electric referred them to us.

I want to thank Tom Gunn and the apprentice Trace who did an excellent job when we had the power go off because of a broken breaker. The immediately came to our house and restored our power. They both were very friendly and shared their experiences which made us feel comfortable and confident of their knowledge and work.

Alex was extremely friendly, professional and did a great job explaining everything about what went wrong and what they did to fix it. The apprentice working with him was great too, I only wish I could remember his name to include it here. I highly recommend Orient Electric.

World class professionals who keep their promises. I never once wondered about the status of my project. Automated communications help keep you constantly in the loop and ready. If you do have questions, they have a nice person ready to answer at their office. The work they did was impeccable and the guys went the extra mile for me at every turn. I was very impressed with their friendliness and consideration. They took every bit of trash away and I had virtually zero clean up after they left. Would definitely recommend them and hire them again! They are awesome!

Orient Electric is the best. We have used them for all our electricity needs. They never disappoint. Joseph Karl is the greatest. He works efficiently and with confidence. We had a great experience working with Orient Electric. From the initial estimate to the finished project, everyone did a great job. Working on an old cabin near Mt. Hood was a bit of a challenge but Joseph and Ethan dealt with all the issues and made it all work! We would highly recommend them, they were very courteous, knowledgeable and hard working.

Outstanding Service from Reece Haney!
I can't thank Reece Haney enough for his exceptional service! He was the second technician sent to help us with an ongoing electrical issue that had left half of our home’s lights out (including the kitchen, which was especially stressful with Thanksgiving around the corner!).
After an initial technician was unable to identify the problem, I was understandably frustrated, especially with the holiday just days away. But Reece went above and beyond. He carefully inspected the entire house, checking every plug and socket. His thoroughness paid off when he discovered a serious issue in the ceiling—burnt-out wires that were still active and posed a real fire hazard.
Thanks to Reece’s expertise and dedication, we were able to get the issue fixed in time for the holiday. I’m incredibly grateful for his prompt response and professionalism. Thanks to him and the wonderful team at Orient Electric, we had a safe, bright, and stress-free Thanksgiving. Highly recommend Reece and the Orient Electric team! ⭐️

Mike and his helper were both polite, pleasant and easy to interact with. They did a great job installing a switch in our panel and electrical running outside, through the wall, so that we can use a generator if the power goes out. They also installed an outlet in our toilet closet for a bidet. They cleaned up after themselves. Great job!!!

We’ve used Orient Electric twice now for installing can lighting, and both experiences have been excellent. They are professional, thorough, and truly trustworthy. They take the time to make sure we’re happy with the placement and offer thoughtful input to help guide decisions rather than rushing the job. Alex and John were especially professional and courteous while working in our home. We would absolutely use Orient Electric again and highly recommend them.

We had a TERRIBLE experience with this company. We were quoted a minimum service fee and an hourly rate, but it was never made clear that the minimum was just a charge for them to show up and that the hourly rate would be added on top. We were also billed at a higher hourly rate than what we were originally told.

The final cost was more than double what we expected. The pricing felt intentionally misleading and far from transparent. We are first time parents who were putting in fans for our new baby that is set to arrive in a few weeks. What kind of company with any heart would intentionally rip off expectant parents like that?!

If you value honesty and clear communication, I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND HIRING SOMEONE ELSE.

I had a great experience with Orient Electric. They provided next-day service and got everything done very quickly. Josh Deweese was the electrician that helped me and he was an honest professional. Highly recommend.

Great service from Josh with Orient Electric. Had a pretty large amount of work done including hot tub switch install, full panel replacement & rewrire of a space I remodeled. He was on-time and on schedule. Price never wavered even when tasks were harder than anticipated.

10/10 highly recommended.
