The employees didn't seem eager to sell anything. I live just down the road and was looking for a new tape measure and some drill bits for a project that I'm doing. Instead of driving all the way to Home Depot I decided to go here instead. No price tags on anything and no one acted like I was even in there until I asked a question. It was like Home Depot, but with no tools and LESS helpful employees, if that's imaginable.

Relaxed atmosphere and friendly employees. Called in to the 1-800 number and Platt tracked down a pair of knee pads for me at this location. Called the shop and they put them aside for me. Easy, will be back.

I needed a 12 gauge extension cord and a surge protector so I thought I’d try Platt. I went in and I guess because I wasn’t wearing construction clothes and a confederate flag the guy at the far counter in a black hoody and black baseball cap pretty much acted like I wasn’t worthy of his time.

They fixed my short circuit without delay.

I scheduled a tech to come out 2 weeks in advance. They cancelled 2 days before coming. I called to reschedule, left a message and didn't hear back until I had to call them again the next day.
They again cancelled my appt. less than a half hour before he was supposed to be here. They must not be worried about customer (or would be customer) satisfaction. I would give them no stars if that was an option.

I am very pleased with the service that I received from Oakleys electric today. The technician was knowledgeable, very nice, and the price was very reasonable. He found an electrical problem that could have caused a serious issue in my home and I truly appreciate that. A previous electrician had wired something wrong and he found it and and rewired it correctly. I would definitely recommend Oakleys Electric to anyone searching for an electrician
