Kyle did an extremely difficult emplacement of 220v service to an induction oven in our kitchen island. It required skill, creativity, agility, grit, and a “git er done” attitude to gain access and run the cable through our crawl space from hell, and he did it all with calm affirmation. One of our most satisfying pro experiences, and we’ve had a lot of those with Mr. Electric of Hillsboro.

Kyle came on Wednesday and finished on Friday. Very nice, professional, and personable! He answered all our questions, suggested best practices for installations and was prompt with his estimation of time needed to do all the work. He will be back for fan installations and hopefully, hot tub hook up. Very pleased with the work, the time frame, and the efficiency with which he worked. He cleaned up the work space each day.

After mucking about for several days with a line tester and numerous other pieces of equipment, I threw up my hands and called a real professional. Joey came out and found the issue within an hour along with a really good theory about how it happened, which was definitely not anything I could have diagnosed. Joey was personable, respectful and professional; I would definitely call him again.

I had an excellent experience working with Kyle on my sauna installation. From start to finish, he was professional, friendly, and clearly knew his craft. He showed up on time, kept the workspace clean, and explained everything along the way so I felt confident about the setup. The installation itself was flawless — neat wiring, attention to detail, and everything worked perfectly the first time.

We had Matthieu come out to install an outdoor plug, and he was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, he was professional, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to make sure everything was done perfectly, explained what he was doing along the way, and left everything spotless when he was done. It’s rare to find someone who takes that much pride in their work these days, and it really shows!

They were great getting someone out when our power went out on the weekend between Christmas and New Years. It turned out to be a bigger project than anticipated, with a new panel (replacing an old fuse box) and meter. Chris was a great communicator and very helpful throughout.

Mister Electric of Hillsboro is a top-notch company. Their service technician, David, provided us with professional, courteous service as he replaced our thermostat. It wasn’t an easy job as our unit was old and outdated. 5 Star service by a 5 Star technician!

I had several strange outages and suspected a problem with the panel, and found Mr Electric using a Google Maps search to see who was close to me. Their 24/7 service line made me feel comfortable to call them right away to request support. I was able to get an electrician out to my house to check the next morning. He found a serious problem, with sparking and arcing on my main breaker. Which apparently isn’t actually a main, I have some split panel thing. Because of that, he was able to reroute the wiring of my home appliances to other circuits, so that I can make it with partial power on breakers that aren’t sparking. Unfortunately I’ll be needing to replace the panel, which I can’t afford to do for awhile. Even though my panel is a longterm fire safety hazard, it’s at least routed safe as can be for the time being, and I won’t be without all power during the winter. I’m grateful for Mr Electric’s quick ability to prioritize my emergency, and that their technician Taylor was so knowledgeable and was quickly able to find the problem and reroute what he could to tide me over for awhile. I’ll definitely be calling back when I’m ready to make my panel upgrade.

Mr. Electric was fantastic. Our tech Joey was extremely informative and friendly. His work of installing a new outlet and car charger looked great. Will definitely be using them again for any future electrical work.

Kyle was amazing! He was very thorough in checking all electric components around the house and so glad we finally took care of items on home inspection from when we purchased a year ago. We can now feel confident we’re not going to catch fire or have our home appliances get ruined from a storm surge. We’re also getting our hot tub wired up in a few weeks and I’m sure that will be a great job as well!

There’s nothing he can’t do.

He helped me size a whole house generator, installed an appropriately sized service panel, whole house surge protector, smoke/Co alarms, and bathroom fans.

He installed additional electrical outlets throughout the house in places where I thought it would be impossible to do so and also corrected work from past electricians.

His finish work with the outdoor house siding and inside sheet rock work is also exceptional so you get more than an electrician, you get also get an overall great craftsman.

I will definitely recommend him to my friends.

All aspects of communicating and service with Mr Electric were exceptional. My information and issue were recorded and verified. My appointment was confirmed and I was notified by phone and voice mail that Kyle was on his way. He was able to resolve my problem. A flourescent fixture had quit in my laundry room and he replaced with ballast by pass LED lamps. All now working perfectly. Kyle was a pleasure and extremely efficient and took the time to explain my choices. He checked my electrical panel and answered questions regarding work I would like to have done in the future. The company is reliable and I highly recomend Kyle.

Excellent communication with the scheduling and office staff. Dustin did an excellent job resolivng our issues of electrical outlets not working. He was persistant and determined to find the source. And he found it!

The electrician that helped me was named Joey D and he was fantastic! I highly recommend having him to do your repairs. He was very nice easy to talk with. Didn’t treat you like you’re stupid.
Also he seemed to have a great wealth of information about his job. I also got a no BS vibe from him Which made me feel like as a customer I could trust him not to try and pull one over me. He was willing to walk me through all of the issues That he discovered With his evaluations And was able to take care of them all with his one visit.
If I have any more repair problems, I’m definitely gonna go to him first before anyone else!
