These guys are terrific. I had no less than 4 quotes completed for tree trimming on four maples; All About Trees was the most competitive and was able to come out and do the trimming immediately (some companies were asking me to wait until late August/September). Tennelle, at the office (who also is extremely efficient!), confirmed our time for estimate and Daniel came out within the week. He is clearly extremely knowledgeable about trees and understood exactly what we needed to have done (clearance from our house for fire-proofing purposes). The best part is when we confirmed we wanted to work with All About Trees, they were able to schedule something within two days! Two days! Daniel came out and was super-efficient. The clean up was superb and all the trimming and clean-up was done within 2-2.5 hours tops. I will be continuing to call this team for tree help in the future.

I had a great experience with Daniel and his team. They navigated tight quarters to
remove fallen fir trees off of my house even while the weather was still not ideal, all with no further damage to my or my neighbors' property. They removed a second round of unstable trees months later in heat and dripping sap. A total of 10 trees. I would absolutely recommend them. Ben

All About Trees is now my "go to" tree service company. (3) 100'+ cottonwoods between 8' and 15' of my house. It took Daniel and his assistant only 8 hours to successfully take down all three trees, remove all branches, debris and leave the area clean. I kept the rounds but even if I had them removed, the price for everything would have beat other companies price for only taking the trees down. These guys are good...

All About Trees did an excellent job reshaping our medium sized maple tree, located in the Bethany area of PDX. Several years ago it had been trimmed and topped improperly by a landscape co. that did not know what they were doing. The result 6 year later was a tree that had grown out very odd and misshapen. Daniel and his crew did a super job removing and correcting congested limb growth and removing improper limb stubs (leftover from previous trim job) Give them a try, I bet you'll be happy with the results.

Gorden and his crew did a great job! The estimate was very fair, the company is honest and ethical. He gave me some other advice about trees around the property, which I greatly appreciated. I've recommended them to my next door neighbor, who also has a pending tree removal project.

We have used All About Trees for tree removal on two occasions and are very pleased with their services. They were on time, courteous, and efficient, completing the removals as quoted and doing a tremendous job on clean-up. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future.

The crew @All About Trees were great, very professional, from beginning to end! Daniel came out for the assessment of our little forest, and then about a week later Jacques and Bobby came and performed the work (over the course of two days). This time out, it was a lot of maintenance, removing dead wood, trimming a few potentially dangerous branches, etc. The crew was very easy to talk to, and they cleaned everything up at the end of each day. Jacques got some great pics of our trees and property while he was up there! 🤩

Chet and crew are my go-to for tree maintenance and removal. They've been honest, upfront and extremely helpful in every interaction we've had.

When we had them remove a tree last year, Chet knew exactly what was wrong with it and I am so glad we removed it because it would of toppled over in this last winter storm (January 2024).

We also had them out again recently to checkout another tree and Chet came in with the same helpful recommendations. Not to mention, he popped over to my neighbors to help them as well.

I've recommended them to numerous friends who have also praised them because they don't just come over looking to cut down trees, they truly care about doing the right thing and thats what I appreciate most.

The crew spent 2 days making out acre the beautiful space we wanted it to be. Experts at fruit trees, Japanese Maple trees, falling huge (sick) trees, grapes vines, huge laurel hedge trimming and more!!!! We will never go with another company again.

Single line tree care came in with a competitive bid and then followed through with exactly what we discussed on our tree pruning. I felt like Chet was very knowledgeable and new what we could do to make our two giant maples healthier. I highly recommend this company!

Chett was quick to decide the best course of action in the removal of the two trees I had on my property, to bringing in a larger than normal crew and all the equipment needed to perform the job within a single day. His description of the job was 100% spot on, so there were no surprises at the end of the work. Will certainly look them up for future work.

I had these guys remove a large, 50ft tree from my yard a couple years ago and they were great-- pricing was very reasonable ($1,500) and they did an excellent job bringing the tree down. I even gave their contact info to my neighbor across the street and she hired them about 5 months ago to cut down a similar-sized tree as mine, also for $1,500.

With the recent storm, I had a large, 50ft tree break off about halfway up the trunk and the top section fell into my yard. I immediately gave Single Line a call because they were so good in the past. Chet says, "we can do it for $4,200." My reply was, "yikes" and I then explained to him that they had cut a similar-sized tree down for me for $1,500 and that what remains standing of the current tree is only about 20 to 25 feet-- the rest is laying on the ground, easily accessible, and simply needs to be cut up. I even told them to leave the rounds there. Chet takes a deep breath and says, "I can do it for $3,700 but that's as low as I can go."

I know that tree cutters are in high demand due to the recent storm that brought trees down all around Portland, but $3,700 for an easier job than they just did at my neighbor's house 5 months ago for $1,500 is ludicrous. And his initial quote of $4,200 is even more insane.

Long story short, I've lost all respect for these guys for what is clearly price gouging at a time when people are in serious need of emergency tree removal (mine was not an emergency at all). Man, I would have been a customer for life, but I'm done with Single Line. I recommend you take your business somewhere else. What a shame.

We had single line tree service out. I don’t have any photos available but they did a big job for us that was bid for over two and three times as much from other companies. We have lots of trees on our property and more that will be needing work in the future and will certainly be using Single line again. Chet is easy to get ahold of and talk to. Very pleased with our experience and we have used other companies before. Definitely staying with single line from now on.

Fantastic service and cost. This team worked fast and professionally in removing my four trees, grinding two stumps, removing all the brush and cutting up/stacking my firewood. The largest of my trees to be removed was in a very tight spot between structures but they were so careful to not let any damage occur. It was impressive. Will definitely use again!

Storm hit the city and one of my backyard trees hit my house, the others leaning to the fence or towards the house. We spent all night watching it unfold like an horror movie. Angel came out the next morning at 6 am for a quote and give me time to work with my neighbor to secure access points for him and his crew.

Angel was able to come back later the same day to remove the tree that hit the house, secure the remaining trees so we would have no issues that night, and the following day his crew returned for the remaining trees.

Quote was accurate, he was timely, and he made me feel so much better knowing that we prevented a larger hazard. Thank you Single Line!

In the backyard of my rental, I had a whole row of dead trees. There were several neighbors whose back yard was adjacent to mine. This company removed all of the trees. Cut them into firewood & even gave some to one of the neighbors. Friendly, courteous & very respectful of all the properties. They were very reasonably priced. If I ever need this service again, this is the company I will call!!

I am picky picky picky. Angel and his crew were just amazing. The team is very professional, well organized, efficient and extremely careful. They worked with me to discuss options and note structural concerns in my beloved trees. The quote provided by Chet was a lot. After seeing the work and all the extra attention this team provided I know my garden received better care than I expected for the cost.
